I hate to leave bad reviews, but I feel like this place needs some constructive criticism on their costumer service skills. I came here because I had a coupon- which I didn't even end up using because I wanted to get out of there ASAP. Upon entering, there was no hello or smile or "how can we help you". No words. Just a stare as if I was an inconvenience. A simple "hello" can make all the difference in the initial impression and experience. I walked in feeling so uncomfortable that first moment, I should have listened to my gut and turned around then. Every word spoken to me from this stylist was extremely unfriendly and condescending. She seemed irritated that I didn't know the right number clipper size (I've never used them before) and she instead could have kindly explained them. The haircut itself was fine and we were in and out really quick. However, I have been to many salons, and was treated and spoken to a million times better than I was here. I actually don't care about chatting at salons, but I care about simple kindness. I am sure the other stylists are friendly. But There are plenty of other options in our area, there is no need to go here. read more

Quick and efficient, even if the ladies, all dressed in black, look like they came out of Jersey-licious. In and out in less than 15 minutes, with custom-done haircut and no appointment. And my puppy likes it as it gave us more time to be in the pet store next door. My only recommendation would be to gentrify the waiting area. It is definitely industrial. This location is perfect! I've gotten awesome haircuts from Meghan and Carrie multiple times. Meghan was so kind and understanding when I went in to chop off and donate my hair. She made me feel comfortable with the big change I had chosen and did such an excellent job with my shorter cut that it's basically my go-to now! Carrie was super cool and helped me fix my hair that was massacred by another salon. I had such anxiety over the cut because the mess up was REALLY bad but man...she was able to make it look good and it is still growing in nicely. We should have walked out when the customer before my daughter left with her hair uneven in the back. My daughter asked to have her thick long hair thinned and layers put in. Ashley G. thinned her hair and said she was done. Did not ask where she parted her hair and did not put any layers in (which was a blessing in hindsight). My daughter pulled so much thinned hair out that was left loose in her hair she was leaving clumps in the parking lot. Worst $29 ever spent-total waste. Avoid this place! read more

I was having a really hard time finding a salon and the yelp reviews for other places weren't being too helpful. I settled on Supercuts mainly because they were open on the holiday but I'm so happy I did- I really couldn't be happier with the results. I had gotten a pretty botched color/highlights job from a Hair Cuttery some months past, with the stylist having to recolor my hair twice because she unfortunately misunderstood my wanting highlights of red and blonde throughout my brunette hair. The first time she dyed the whole thing red (big whoopsies there), the second time the highlights were pretty rough and rushed looking, so my hair came out waaaaay more blonde than I ever wanted with thick chunks throughout making it look really uneven. I explained all this to Melissa at Supercuts and relayed that as much as I would love to have the red/blonde highlights, I was pretty burned after the last time and just wanted the whole thing dyed solid brunette again. She assured me she could do it, asked in depth questions of how wide I wanted the highlights, had me go through the color book with her and got right down to it. I have thick hair so bless her heart, her arms must have been tired by the time she was done. But it came out amazing. The burgundy/purple color I picked out really came through and there was just the right amount of highlights to make it look really natural (well as natural as blond highlights on a brunette could look). She was completely professional the entire time and rescued the awfulness that was my hair when I walked in the door. A lot of the other stylists seemed just as professional and proficient, they had a lot of gentlemen and kids coming in for cuts and they looked great from my perspective under the pound or so of foils I was under. I really couldn't recommend this location more; was incredibly pleased. read more

I normally make an appointment and end up waiting when I get there as much as 30-40 minutes. The girl who cuts my hair is always apologetic and does a good job so I let it slide. Earlier this week I called and they couldn't schedule me in which I found laughable since making people wait never seemed to matter before. Today I call in to make an appointment I get put on hold and they never pick back up. I just hear the stylists talking in the background. Plenty of other places in town and I'll be trying out one of them today. read more

We made his appointment for s few hours later. When we arrived, Meghan was ready for him in about 5 minutes. She was great- cheerful and friendly. She gave my son a perfect haircut! This Supercuts in royersford is clean and friendly. I used to go to high end salons and pay a fortune but at Supercuts I know I'll get the same quality haircut for a fraction of the cost. Stylists are knowledgeable and talk you about what you want to do BEFORE cutting to help you get the look you want. I won't risk going anywhere else. There was a problem with my card going through (with their computer), and they were extremely rude and condescending with how they handled it. I had to go back to the store about 3 times (because my bank was telling me the charge went though), each time being given to the assistant manager who gave no apologies or anything. I've been using Supercuts for about 10 years, but I'm never going back now. read more
