What made me call: I love the way Kristen responded to each reviewer, both the high and low ratings, and how she personally engaged with each customer about their experience. I called to help my really good friend find a good salon, since my friend wasn't having much luck (most salons were snobbish and hung up on her regarding perms for long hair). I called and spoke with Kristen, explaining that my friend has not been to a hair salon before and what she was looking for. Kristen was so easy to connect with and answered all my questions, relaying helpful information I passed along to my friend. I got amazing friendly vibes from her so I instantly knew this was the perfect place! My friend went in and they already knew who she was, which gave her so much comfort and relief. She said that everyone she came in contact with was so sweet and caring. She has a consultation with Stephanie, who tested my friend's hair and gave her feedback she found extremely helpful to help her hair repair and when it was best to get a perm. My friend loved how honest, knowledgeable and caring Stephanie was and the time she is willing to take in the future to take care of her, she felt really happy and comfortable with her. The service that Stephanie was able to provide for my friend that was safer for her hair was a touch-up to cover her grays, and it turned out amazing! She looks like she is in her 20's again! I am impressed and so happy at the overall experience my best friend received. She will be back for her eye brows to be done and it is great to know she will be in good hands. I spent nearly 400$ to get a "Brazilian blowout" "smoothing" treatment and I'm so beyond disappointed. My hair is the same if not more dry and course than before the treatment. I wanted something to temporarily straighten my hair and I got confused by the messages with the salon which is my fault. But now after all is said and done, I'm just upset my hair feels and looks just a little bit worse if anything 4 hours of salon time and 400$ later. The lady Angela who did it was nice and did say it wouldn't straighten my hair all the way just make it more manageable. I just am very disappointed, as one would be.

I wanted to go from my natural, non-dimensional dark blonde to a "lived-in" blonde. Something easy to grow out, brighter by the face and at the ends, and dimensional. She let me know the "why" behind the process. Speaking of the process... Sage knows what she's doing. Her placement was perfect. She watched the bleach carefully and didn't let anything over-process. Which means that I now have the blonde hair of my dreams and it's STILL HEALTHY. Not to mention the fact that spending time with her was just plain FUN. Hair can take a while. They like to change times and send you a last minute text with a new time. The late fee inorder to reschedule was $240. The amount they made up that it would have cost to get my hair done. Matt or Mark told me he would do a partial color and only charge me two $30. Late fees in addition to the cost of color. I do understand that their time is money so maybe they should quit changing times without a phone call to the customer. The late fee is ridiculous. If you don't want customers, Matt/Mike just let us know. You're not the only salon. My other stylist has been messaging.
