I'm currently growing my hair long, I asked Kelli about what I could do with it. She suggested a perm. I was very hesitant as my last perm was in high school many eons ago. My hair was fried and I looked like bozo the clown for at least 6 months. Janet did such a wonderful job that my sister-in-law said I should have done it years ago. It looked so natural that I was asked by several friends if I had been straightening it all these years.

I explained that a UPS vehicle was blocking my driveway which prevented me from leaving. She still wouldn't take me because she had another client coming in at 2:00. If she had lead with " I have a client coming in and I do multiple clients at once" and went from there. "Rather than your late" I would have been more understanding.

I gave him the cool picture of myself with normal hair on the right as a reference and he gave me the total fail haircut with a giant patch removed as if he was considering to do an experiment in brain surgery after the hair patch removal. I basically have to wear a hat for three months while it grows back. I'm not sure what kind of joke that is , but I'm too old for it. I'd say running with scissors is one thing but cutting hair high on PCP is a worse idea. That's fully screwed up without any kind of rebate.

The online portal made it very easy to book an appointment, and same-day at that! I scheduled a slot with Irene at random, and I will definitely be going back to her in the future. The waiting area is spacious and well-stocked with water, coffee, tea, candy, and magazines. I showed up around 4:45 PM for my 5:00 PM appointment. The previous client ran a little bit over, so I was taken back at 5:15 PM. The hair washing station here was one of the most comfortable I have ever experienced and did not leave my neck hurting. Irene worked quickly, efficiently, and was able to accommodate my request of loose curls. She is easy to chat with and handles hair like a pro. My appointment did run past closing time, but Irene was patient and I did not feel rushed in any way. The service here at RBDR is professional and fair. In the meantime my hair grew back and I was on medication that did not cause hair loss. Those medications have stopped working or couldn't be tolerated, so I am back on a chemo med and now my hair is falling out again. I am planning to go back in and see if they have something available in the style and similar color to my natural hair now.
