I felt like it was meant to be because it just all worked out so well and booking online was so easy. I booked a 90 minute appointment with Bitali for the Moisturizing Head Spa service. The location was easy for me to find because I know the area well, but if you're unfamiliar I put up photos of the door and its relation to a business that's easy to spot from the street. It's the door just to the left of Jersey's Pizza. The stairs lead you up to the hallway where you'll wait. She opens the door right at the time of your service. I liked the energy in the waiting area. The hallway is filled with business doors where women are getting their hair or nails done. There are also some aestheticians who have doors in the hallway. I liked the chatter from all the ladies taking care of themselves. It is a very joyful and beautiful space. Once I was in the room, I was greeted and instructed to remove my top clothing and sit in the chair with my towel robe. Bitali did a visual assessment with a scalp camera and explained what we were looking at throughout. After that I laid out and she went to work. It was so relaxing! I savored every minute of peace I had laying there. After the final rinse out, I got back in the chair to do a reassessment of my scalp. I got dressed and left with my hair wet. Once it dried out, my hair was the softest it's ever been. The whole experience was well worth it. I feel great and will be back regularly!

It is tucked away from the main entrance on State St. in downtown Redlands, which makes it even more of a hidden gem. Melissa is a phenomenally talented stylist. She has always known exactly how to treat my ultra-thick, wavy hair so that it won't frizz or end up looking too weighty. I always trust her with recommendations from new product lines and have yet to be disappointed with everything she uses in her styling chair. I also highly recommend her undercutting technique, as it give things that je ne c'est quoi everyone is loving lately. If you have qualms about getting a certain color done, ask her about it! She will give her honest opinion and will take you through the process step-by-step. Personally, I have never had my hair look so naturally luminous before I started going to her; now I receive compliments all the time. To fellow product junkies like myself: One of the coolest parts of this salon is the featured product line R+Co. Blended in collaboration with some of the best stylists in the hair industry, the line is a hit. The products themselves smell amazing and are all fantastic for color treated hair... I am consistently impressed with the exceptional service at this Great Clips location. I have been a client with Andrea for the past two years, whose professionalism and care are outstanding. My son, who is on the autism spectrum, has been receiving haircuts from Andrea since he was two years old. Her remarkable patience and kindness have made each visit a positive experience. I have followed Andrea throughout her career because of her dedication and skill. The entire staff at this salon is equally commendable, demonstrating patience and attentiveness. They are very understanding of my son's preference for Andrea and ensure he feels valued by accommodating his needs. Given the exceptional service and warm atmosphere, I will continue to be a regular client. I highly recommend this Great Clips location for its excellent care and customer service. read more

Short version: - You can make same-day / walk-in…read moreappointments - They're good with kids - Get high quality service at very reasonable prices - The stylists genuinely seem to care about clients Longer version: After learning that they will do same-day appointments, I hustled over with my two shaggy haired boys. Both of my kids have very fine hair that will look REALLY unkempt with the wrong cut, so it always feels like taking a chance when I don't know the hair stylist. But I shared a few photos of hairstyles we liked and the stylist (Veronica) got to work. First, Veronica was so good with my kids. One was bummed to be getting a haircut, worried it would be too short bc he wants a longer haired surfer look. Veronica won him over by asking his favorite tv show and letting him watch it on the tv! She gave him the perfect fresh cut. He got to keep the beachy vibe and I got to see his chlorine-damaged split ends disappear! My other son has sensory issues and usually gets anxious about haircuts, especially the electric clippers. But it was def time to clean up his hair! He seemed comfortable with Veronica and I noticed that she was careful about not scraping the clippers up the back of his head or anything. So. I was only planning to get my kids' hair cut, but the stylist did such a good job with them and the prices were tempting enough that I sheepishly asked if she had time for me too. Veronica is such a gem that she agreed and I was so happy with the long bob she set me up with. I will be back and I will definitely be recommending friends and family to try this salon, too!

Cut and color were so bad had to go back to get the color "corrected" and the layers "fixed" because they were so uneven. The stylist was Veronica Vika? I guess ...... after getting an appointment to get the orange highlights toned and the layers fixed she proceeded to dye over and now all my hair is a brassy burnt orange red and it looks like a ducks tail with these ends flipping up, no where close to a modern bob. It looks straight out 2005 maybe that's when she was licensed, because her techniques have not evolved with the times! I've gone to another salon to get an actual cut and style, but have to wait to get color corrected because it's damaged my hair too much! So more $ out of pocket! I messaged vika regarding and of course she made lame excuses and offered 0 reimbursement. So if you want a style from a decade ago, chunky orange highlights and terrible layers Veronica is your girl!

When I agreed to participate as a model, I was never given a contract or given detailed terms…read morebeyond being asked to promote the extensions and follow the suggested weekly promotions. I was told the cost of the hair, that I needed a consultation, and that I would pay a discounted installation fee. While discounted, it was still a significant expense, especially when factoring in my tip, travel, and the paid time off I used from work. I made it clear from the beginning that I live about an hour away without traffic and can take nearly two hours to get home with traffic. I also explained that I work full time and need sufficient notice to have appointments approved. We discussed this and agreed that appointments would be scheduled far enough in advance. All of my appointments through the next six months were scheduled in April 2026. On August 8, I was asked to change my 11:30 appointment to approximately 2:30. Unfortunately, that would not work for me because of my work schedule and the traffic I had previously explained. I was then asked if I could come at 10:30 or 11:00. I said I could try, but again explained that I could not make a last-minute change without approval from work. On August 11, I explained that getting there earlier was not going to be possible. I would have to leave around 10:30 to arrive at approximately 11:30, and I could not get approval for anything earlier. I was then told my appointment would need to be rescheduled. At that point, I was understandably frustrated. I had booked this appointment months in advance, had taken my extensions out to make the appointment quicker, and had a photo shoot that weekend. I was ultimately told that a full-price client had priority and that, as a model, my appointment could not be guaranteed. That full paying clients took priority. I was also told that my contract was being canceled. This was difficult to hear because I am still a paying customer, and I had also been consistently promoting the extensions. Nothing that was communicated to me before agreeing to participate stated that full-price clients would take priority over model appointments. Had I known that, I likely would not have participated because of the distance I travel and the accommodations I have to make with my job. I also want to share some feedback about the extensions. The hair is beautiful, and the color match was excellent. I enjoyed how it looked and felt when it was styled, which is why I am giving three stars instead of one. I experienced several issues during the time I had them. During the first installation, I mentioned that the extensions seemed very close to my hairline and that I often wear my hair in a ponytail. I explained that the extensions around my hairline felt tight and were close to my hairline. (Kind of noticeable but over all pretty good) During the 2nd installation, I noticed more issues. Some of the beads slipped, and I had to adjust and replace some myself. Since I live so far away, I chose to correct them myself rather than make the long trip. The ends also felt tight and caused some redness and irritation. There were gaps where my brush would catch, and the placement did not always work well with how I wear my hair. I work out a lot and wear my hair up often, so communicating how someone actually wears their hair is important when determining placement. Extensions are not necessarily one-size-fits-all, and I believe that should be considered during installation. I experienced a lot of hair loss compared to my normal experience with this method. I understand that some shedding is normal, but this was different from what I have had with other stylists and extension brands. I had to cut my hair to make it look even again. There was also one section where the extensions had been cut in a way that did not blend properly, which meant I could not wear my hair straight without the difference being noticeable. I had planned to provide all of this feedback at my next apt. I was hoping we could make adjustments to the placement and installation and see if the issues could be corrected. My apts was canceled, so I never had that opportunity. I am not sharing this experience to place blame. I have been using hair extensions, including this method, for many years, and I know what has worked well for me in the past. The hair itself was beautiful and matched my color very well. I simply experienced issues that I felt were important to share. For future models, I suggest having a clear written agreement, appointment policies, and whether model apts can be changed to accommodate full-price clients. I did my best to fulfill my part of the arrangement by promoting the extensions and making the apts work around my full-time job and the travel involved. Proof is in the pictures. No threats were made. If the extensions couldn't get installed on my apt day, that would determine next steps for me. This was Not a friendship deal but a business deal.
