It took about 40 minutes and she even apologized for taking so long but I did not have an issue with the time! I love how diligent she was with making everything perfect. I'm updating this review because Cim has exceeded all of my expectations each and every time I go to get my hair cut. I do not have easy hair to cut. It grows in thinner on the sides compared to the top and back which makes it very uneven. Cim does a fantastic job making sure that all of my haircuts look as even as possible. On top of that, I have been changing my hairstyle about once a month for the past few months and she has never once given me a haircut that I did not like. Cim can really do anything that you'd like. I have showed her pictures of different types of fades and contemporary hairstyles that most guys would get an established barbershop, but she does a better job than what they could do. Her versatility and attention to detail are unmatched and it is these qualities that will keep me coming back to Cim for as long as she works here. It's understandable that most people would be apprehensive about trying a new place to get their haircut. I have been looking for a local place to take my 2yr old son and today I found it! I visited this place because it was grand opening and their price was just 4.99, but let me tell you..WORST experience ever!!! This lady her name is arlene seems like didnt know what she was doing to my hair. I told her i want a shaggy hairstyle, and she was like a layered? ...Gosh..and the way she was cutting my hair was awkward and unusual, from then I know it will turned out bad...It was BAD! it wasnt shaggy or layered at the end, my bangs wasn't straight and messy...and there was like one part of my hair that wasnt even with the rest...It was BAD BAD BAD!!! will never get a hair cut from Her again!!!! As soon as you walk in, new or a regular, they welcome you. Ive been coming here since they first opened and ONLY have Dawn the store Manager cut my hair. I have thick curly hair and I am VERY picky. So there is a lot of trust between her or ANY barber I use. I Know they are stylists but she can cut (Kim as well) and get down on a fade! And do it in a timely fashion! That's another reason I come here, the hours of operation. I have a great barber or 2. But they arent the most reliable for hours or last minute appointment to get a fresh cut. Most haircut places have horrible customer service, so it's to go somewhere that actually valued that! Cymberly (hope I spelled it right) provides the best service and styling. I am a devout customer who will only get my haircut by her. She went above and beyond tonight by calling me to share that the wait had gone down faster than the app projected, just so I could get in and get my hair cleaned up. Furthermore, she talked me through a new cut and I am blown away with my new look because of her professionalism and expertise. Walked in at 5:58. They close at 6. The door was open, I walked in with my two boys. The lady told me they were closed. There were still people getting haircuts. I would have been so appreciative if the lady said, "Come on in, we'll get it done." She was not very friendly and insisted that her clock said 6:00. What a great impression it would have made on me had she let us in. I probably would not be writing this review if she had. I think I might just go to the $8 hair cut guy across the street. I typically get haircuts from this location, however, on 6/14 I was running late for my birthday dinner and figured it would be nice to have someone else style my hair quicker than I would. I called to ask if they did styles that included french braids and they said yes! My stylist was Andrea and hands-down she is the best stylist I have had an interaction with thus far at this location. She was quick, detailed, friendly, and appeared enthusiastic about her job. I also feel it is important to admit that my hair is not the easiest to deal with. I walked in with the WORST hair. It was bed hair that I slept on the night before wet and it was ALL OVER THE PLACE. She literally whipped out the straightener and planned to straighten my crazy hair and then curl. She did not give attitude or seemed like she was dreading me as her client. I was not planning on putting her through that, so I gladly told her I wanted to pay for a quick wash. I have curly, frizzy, thick hair. She took the time to wash, blow dry, straighten my hair, curl it, and then french braid my bangs back. She even re-did the braids because SHE wasn't satisfied. All in all, I literally got the best service and I am thoroughly impressed with her as a stylist. I also talked to the manager on the phone to relay how impressed I was. read more
