She talked me through everything before she stated, checked in throughout and made me feel totally at ease even though my hair was in crisis mode. The end result was fabulous ! I scheduled an early appointment for a wash and blow out with stylist Rochelle. I came in and was brought back within 10 minutes of my arrival and I was done in under an hour. Rochelle was efficient, friendly and I was very pleased with my hair. I was surprised at how many different options they offer such as braids, locs maintenance, silk press, etc. The prices are reasonable and scheduling my appointment on there website was super easy and they have a lot of different stylists you can choose from, I'd definitely return.

My family is blessed with extremely thick hair, some fine, some coarse and Nina always makes sense of our hair. You do need to make sure to let whatever stylist know if you want wash, how much to cut, and if you want blow dried and styled. I came in Friday during lunch time and thankfully it was empty. There were 6 ladies who spoke English and helped us out right away. I liked my oldest child hair stylist better than the one who cut the hair of my youngest. As I can see that she rushed his hair cut and I see that she didn't blend in too well and it's a little uneven. But my 5 year old doesn't care that some hair stick out in the back. Was going on a trip next week and needed an cut and decided to give New York Style Salon a try because it was close to me. My goodness I'm glad I did! Came in and was seated right away.
