I'm usually a barber shop guy from LA. I didn't have high expectations going in cause let's be honest, hair stylist are not usually good with the clippers. But I was lucky enough to get Melissa as my barber that day. I can't even look at my own barber the same anymore. She took one look at my haircut from the week before done by my regular barber n pointed out all kinds of things done wrong n then proceeded to fix them. I came into here and thought I would have no problem. A simple trim and some long layers. Took her less than 30 minutes from an older Hispanic lady. Usually I'll play on my phone no problem but she told me to put it down that she couldn't and would not compete with it. So she rushed through not checking both sides like most people do. I came home and styled it and at least an inch difference on each side. Never will I go back here. I look like an idiot. read more

I had a horrible experience at this Great Clips with my two boys about 6 months ago. A younger woman with wavy blondish-brownish hair (which badly needed a die job), came in late (we were there shortly after they opened), chewing food in her mouth. She hurriedly cut my older sons hair and kept telling him loudly what a horrible job I had done trimming his hair. She said "tell your mom to never touch your hair again." She acted mad and annoyed the whole time. I was sitting right there and could hear her bad-mouthing me to my son! When she called me over to check his haircut, she said rudely "you need to leave the hair cutting to us." I said "sometimes I trim it between cuts just to save money". She rolled her eyes and said "well that's what we are here for so you need to bring him in." We have not been back since. So unprofessional! Now I wonder if it's the same girl a previous reviewer mentioned who cut her finger and went and cried loudly in the back. read more

I really appreciate the way Great Clips keeps notes on how one likes their haircut. My favorite stylist moved to this location along with another good hair professional she trained. So I will usually make the longer drive so my hair is cut by my favorite person. She is what exemplifies great customer service. I try and always emulate it also. First experience here was a 5 star. Crystal cut my hair and it was perfect. Time to get another cut but Crystal wasn't in, ok no problem. Got an older Hispanic lady who never gave her name. Haircut was horrible, uneven choppy, just horrible. Went in two days ago hoping Crystal would be there but no such luck, just the same lady. So I'm thinking everyone has a bad day right? I believe in second chances. Monumental mistake. This is worse than the last. She rushed through the cut, there are huge chunks of hair that she missed. In addition, she had a real snippy attitude. Been going here since the grand opening. Recently seen a lot of new faces quality and customer service has gone down the drain. The new employees care more about talking to each other than taking care of there clients. The woman that cut my hair had a conversation with another employee while butchering my hair! She did not read the instructions from the past cut, she did not listen to me when I explained how I wanted my hair cut. She completely ruined my hair I am to embarrassed to post pictures it's that bad!! When she trimmed my neck she went to short causing tan lines around my ear and neck. Did not ask what I wanted with side burns and cut them ABOVE MY EAR CROOKED!! They were long when I got there who does that!!??? My entire family has been supporting this establishment since day one never again I am appalled at how quickly this place went down hill. You get what you pay for. I went in for a hair cut and Patricia was my stylist. I asked for 5 to 6 inches off and layers. She put the drape on me and prepared her station then came back and asked me "7 to 8 inches right?" I corrected her and said 5 to 6 inches then she asked me if I was chickening out. That should've been my first red flag. She began to put my hair in the middle and I expressed that I would prefer she parted my hair on the side where my part naturally falls so that my layers wouldn't be lopsided when I part my hair on the side. she began to explain how she knows how to do her job. She teased me three times during the hair cut about parting my hair on side versus the middle (even said "I'm just teasing"). She finished my haircut in 15 minutes flat. No offer for a shampoo before she began, no offer for a blowout or style when she was finished. Just took off the drape and handed me a mirror. she did not check to see if my layers were even, which of course they are not. I will NOT go back read more

I've never done a Yelp review before, but the difference in my experience today compared to my experience last time (a few months ago) is astounding. My last visit my hair was cut by Crystal, who, instead of giving me the haircut I wanted, gave me her haircut. I've talked to others about this stylist and they've also had unsatisfactory haircuts from her. That review itself is 1 star; however, my experience this time is 5 stars. My hair was cut by Deborah who understood my dissatisfaction and happily worked with me to give me what I wanted. My hair is too short from the last appointment to get exactly what I want and she went through this with me as well as what I wanted/what would be best so that I can continue to come back and get my hair styled (by her) how I really would like. I almost didn't come in today because of my last experience but I'm glad I did. From now on, its Deb all the way! read more

I'm so glad this place opened in the shopping plaza! I have fussy, medium length Asian hair & the stylists here are really attentive & good at giving me the haircuts I want! It was such a bummer. I rarely write reviews and hate to write a bad one. However, there are so many independent hair cutters in area that would welcome business while this location appeared "put out" by us wanting a haircut. The front desk person was cold and seemed uninterested helping us. We put our names on a list to be seen, but had walked to the site next door and missed our name being called. When w came back in we stood at the counter to see when we might be seen. No one acknowledged us, so I asked and under her breathe she speaks to other employee but not to me . She says" that's him ". Referring to my 8yr old. I asked again...she said , with attitude "I caked your name!" I said ok, well how long at this point. ..and suddenly there were 3 people ahead of us. I have to say the two times I had my hair done there was great! The only negative experience I have had was with the person who answers the phone. Patricia. Rude.
