The man with the leather apron was very kind and for men a barber style cut! 100% good experience

There are many excellent beauticians at this Great Clips--Miriam is the secret sauce. She is friendly, diligent, keen to detail and remembers names and events --so excellent memory. Plus she is petite and good looking. FYI--she paid me to write this review (actually not true). Overall, the atmosphere is good and you will enjoy the experience. read more

This was probably the worst hair cut I have ever had in the 30 years that I have been coming to Great Clips! The stylist was as cold as a potato and did at even at least use gel in my hair when finished, 'SHE DID NOT EVEN DRY IT STYLED"!!! My regular stylist Miriam was out on vacation and was not available. I WILL NEVER LET HER TOUCH MY HEAD AGAIN!! read more

I thought it was great till the next say, after washing and combing my hair. YIKES!! there was a ledge where it had been accidentally cut above my left ear!! It stood out like a sore thumb! I went back to the shop thw next day. MIriam was not there. But a great cosmotologist wixed it the best he could to kind of blend in until it has a couple months to grow back.. at least it is now not so obvious. read more

Great Clips - Don't go here if you like your beard. - Hair Salons Near Me - Lewisville, Texas

I'm writing this review on behalf of my husband. I was there, but I didn't get my hair cut. I'm reviewing how the cut looked and the overall experience. My husband was skeptical coming here cause he likes what he likes. He was about to start a new job and he didn't want his hair "butchered". The girl sits him down tells him his hair is too thick and that she can't cut it. She literally made him sit with another stylist. The other stylist got the cut correct, but it took a lot longer than it usually takes to cut his hair. He said the lady that actually cut his hair was friendly and used to live in CA. The price was pretty reasonable. We were just surprised that someone right off the bat was like "nope, can't cut this hair!" On the Brightside his hair looks great! read more

Come to this Great Clips to get a great hair cut. Elena took her time and did a fabulous job. She listened to me closely and cut it to my liking. I'm pretty picky when it comes to my hair. I usually go to a salon but this time I was in a hurry and I needed a cut bad. No complaints on my end for this location. read more

They always do a great job at cutting my 4 boys hair. They each like their hair a different way and all the stylists listen and deliver. The prices are great as well as the online check in. I would highly recommend. read more

So I walked in the other day to get a haircut and the staff here was phenomenal. Not only did I get a great haircut, the staff were friendly and accommodating, oh and for you military folks, Law enforcement and Fire Fighters out there, the do offer 10% off on your haircut. They do a great job and also the hair products are not overpriced. I would have to say that all in all, it was a great experience. I recommend that you stop by and give these folks a try they are worth the time spent. I was in and out in under half an hour. Oh they also do women's hair. My wife will be trying them soon. read more

It was 8:35 PM when I took my son for a haircut Friday night. They were busy with other clients until 8:45. Five minutes into his hair cutting, the stylist scolded my son for coming in near their closing time. I was not aware of this until we left the store. The lady who cut his hair had a lousy attitude. She did not like that I went to her station to see if more hair needed to be cut. She started with head shaking and eye-rolling. She did horrible job on the hair cut. That location had one good stylist that served us well but she is no longer with that company. We do not recommend anyone going to that specific location. read more

This is my favorite Great Clips, and it beats the competition! The stylists are pleasant from manager down. My entire family goes to this one and recommends it to all of our friends. Miriam is amazing! She always offers EXCELLENT service! Today she rescheduled a personal appointment to cut my four kids' school haircuts since we carved out time to get a haircut and drove from 35 minutes away. Who does that????? read more

I had to give this business 1 star in order to post a review but if it was left up to me I would have given it zero starts. I just took my children here to get a haircut. We have used this salon multiple times and I have always been more than happy with the service provided. Today that was NOT the case. Your stylist completely disregarded what my son asked her to do to his hair and had him in her chair and back out again in about 5 minutes. He asked her to thin out his hair and texturize it but to leave his sideburns and length long. Instead she took a razor to the back and cut his side burns totally off and left the top of his hair so long that it was sticking up in a bump. He had asked for his bangs to be left long and point cut so that it looked chunky when he put product in it, instead she cut them straight across in the middle of his forehead taking almost an inch off of them. When she asked me if it was ok I asked her if she could please take some of the fullness out of the top so that he could salvage it as much as possible. I was not rude at all, just simply asked her to take some more hair off. She huffed at me and ordered him back in the chair and began snidely, in a loud voice in a packed salon asking me "MOM, do you want me to take this much or this much" and snatching his head around. I asked her to please blow dry his hair since its 30 degrees and raining outside, completely willing to pay extra for it, she deliberately aimed the blow drier so that all the hair she had cut from his head blew in my face, as I moved so did she do that it kept happening. She asked me if his hair was ok yet, I repeated that I would really like the top to be thinned out more and she began yelling at me while my son was sitting in the chair. I told her to stop, that he was finished and asked for her supervisor. She told me that the supervisor was gone for the day and that there was no one available "to deal with me". When I got to the register I actually had several expensive products in my hands I was planning to purchase as well as my other sons hair cut to pay for, she continued to yell at me when I asked her for a phone number to call and speak with a supervisor and told me to "not talk to her like a child". She threw a business card at me and told me I could call there. I asked for her name and she ignored me. I asked again and she yelled at me to leave her alone while she finished what she was doing and pushed several buttons on the register and told me "there I didn't charge you for the hair cut" snatched the card back out of my hand and wrote what I assume was her name on the back and threw it at me before stomping off. She did not ring up the product or my other sons haircut. Finally, another stylist walked over and charged me for the haircut for my other child. At that point I was so frustrated I put the product back, thanked her and left. I had to take my son to another business to have his hair fixed. That stylist listened to me and I ended up purchasing $150 in products. I have NEVER in my life seen anyone treat a customer like this. The customer Service in this location tonight was hideous and so completely unacceptable that I will never be back. The other women there were all nice and obviously uncomfortable but none of them stepped into try and take over what was obviously a situation gone terribly wrong. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. read more

I always have gotten great cuts here when the time needed. Loved the great atmosphere. Thou lately, in my last two visits..there was always new stylist on my visits. They have your name and number there(profile) for any stylist that didn't know what you wanted for a cut. I have growing my rat tail for more than a decade. My profile mentioned about my tail..DO NOT TOUCH OR CUT. Here i come in one morning, all new employees expect for one. They take my name and number, proceed to a seat. They stylist makes small talk and evaluates my hair after she printed out a piece of paper what I think was my haircut. She sets it on the counter and starts to cut my hair. I close my eyes and wait till she's done. I even asked here if i have split ends...she'll take care of them she said; needless to say..she did more than split ends. I felt my head lighter than usual, but hey it's a haircut. The damn stylist cut all my rat tail to a puny 20 hairs from a decade of growing. People were in line so i didn't make a scene. Called back for a manger..none to be around. Being upset and furious...i waited till Monday. All i got was" come and i'll take care of you". Never again will i go there, plus if a business cant keep employees long enough to know the work ethic...there's a problem with management. After years of being a loyal customer, I have now to search for a new stylist. read more
