Brought my 3 boys here to get cuts. 4yrs, 5yrs and 10yrs old. Each hair specialist nailed it!! All three boys love their new styles. My 10yr old has had long hair his whole life except for one other time when he was 5yrs old. They gave him a free cut since we agreed to mail his hair to wigs for kids charity. The qualification for the free cut are 12" or more of hair length being cut. I had no idea he was going to chop his beautiful hair off but its what he wanted. He loves his new short hair and the hair stylist was able to take his less than clear explanation and translate that into exactly what he wanted. We set an appointment online so was able to have them in chairs immediately when we walked in. The whole staff was very nice and made all three boys feel confident and comfortable. I've been a loyal customer for over 5 years and come in regularly every 2 weeks. I usually get good customer service at this location except for today. My stylist was Ann (BEWARE) after I was seated she asked me how it's usually cut she said "high to low" I said I guess. When I asked what numbers for the razors spacers it seemed like she was offended, then she fumbled around for a plug to plug in her razor and finally started cutting my hair with movement as if she didn't care and was upset about something. I work in customer service and can read people. So I asked if she was ok and got no response was actually ignored, than asked again are you ok, again no response, then I told her to stop that I didn't want her to cut my hair anymore. I went in asking for a trim and left looking like I lost a bet. I showed a picture. They nodded confidently. That was the last moment of peace before my hair entered witness protection. The barber said, "Trust me." That was my first mistake. My second mistake was not running when the clippers turned on and my future disappeared. One side is shorter than my patience, the other side is doing its own independent research. I didn't get a fade--I got a vanish. My hairline is now a mystery novel. People keep asking me, "Did you do that on purpose?" No. No, I did not. Customer service was nice though. They kept saying, "It'll grow back," which I assume is their official slogan. I came in 20 minutes before closing and the barber let me know that, and I could visibly tell she was annoyed but I didn't think nothing of it, I was just thankful they were open on a Sunday since I work 6 days a week. Long story short I told her to take an inch off and my hair (and my hair is medium length not your typical short hair into a fade or a buzz cut so it actually takes some skill to cut my hair). Anyways I didn't realize til I got home because of how the barber combed my hair but the front part of my hair is at like 2 inches and the middle the the back of my head is at 3-4 inches all different heights, and it's difficult to style my hair other than combing it over as opposed to having my hair long in the front and combing it back. At first I was thankful they took me in but with the barbers bad attitude and messing up my long hair I gotta give this place a one star. Don't come here if you're getting anything other then your head buzzed or a fade because that's all these barbers at this location know how to do. I'm extremely disappointed because I tipped $20 because of how grateful I was that they took me in, but that was before I got home and saw they butchered my hair. read more

Cynthia is very rude and disrespectful. She does not know how to talk to people. I had a coupon to use on one of the receipts. I wanted the get the original receipt back for my records and expense tracking. She rudely said, "I won't give it to you." I asked her to rip the coupon off and give me the top portion and she said "I will not give it" in a very rude and disrespectful way. You think we are going to reuse the coupon and have to become rude about it? I clearly said you could cut the coupon portion off and give me the receipt, but Cynthia refused. What is a receipt for? It is a proof of purchase and is used for expenses. This is a receipt for a previous purchase, you already have it in your records but now I don't have a record of the transaction. Shame on you. I would immediately fire Cynthia. For the amount of money you charge for haircuts you should at least hire people who know how to communicate and provide customer service. I will not be returning back to this location ever again. Very poor service and the quality of the haircut does not reflect what you are charged for. read more

Quick check in. Poor customer service Horrible culture between stylists. Three Spanish speaking stylists and one who doesn't understand Spanish being bad mouthed by the other three while on her break and when she came back they were criticizing her and urging each other not to answer the phone and let her get it. Both showing their hostile work environment and poor consideration for the customer on the phone. As for technical skills, I went to get my child a haircut. I had the phone ready to keep his head still. The stylist rushed through the first part and didn't tell me there was a problem. She told me not to worry and that she is skilled to adapt to my child moving while she was trimming the top. She finished in record time then asked me to check his hair. The roundness of the neck wasn't perfect however the bigger issue was the cleanup around his left ear which I didn't notice until I went around him to check it. She didn't mention that he moved his head causing a problem since that portion was done at the beginning and he was still for that because he knows with the buzzing of the clippers not to move his head to avoid injury. I figured there was nothing to do but was honestly upset when I saw how bad it looked so I didn't tip her. When my dad went in to let her know why we were not happy with the cut she became confrontational , shifted the blame on me and said that she was a stylist and not a babysitter and my child was moving excessively. This escalated the situation more as my dad told her why she didn't wait for him to settle down. Another stylist came to her defense saying that she did the best she could. Yes. She did the best she could and that's her style and skill level. Lesson learned. My child who is normally cheerful and thankful to his stylist in Nebraska, left the store here crying because he was worried that his hair was horrible because he moved. I trusted her skills and ability to cut a four year old's hair but obviously that was a mistake. If she had told me about the issue before I saw it , we probably a my be here now and if this stylist and her coworkers were able to admit to a mistake when it happens and own up to it, they would have had a tip and three star review instead of one. I actually didn't want to come back here after my experience last time,, but the estimated wait time on the other location was 180 minutes when i checked while for this location, the wait time estimate was only 58minutes from the app. But after checking in and waiting for 30minutes, my app wait time is at 37minutes. After another 30minutes of waiting, the app estimated wait time actually went back up to 50minutes. Unbelievable. read more

My family has been coming here on/off for years and it has always been a great experience. The language barrier had never been a problem up until now. My mother asked the hairdresser if she spoke Spanish several times and was completely ignored. When a bilingual staff member stepped in to help and relay what cut she wanted for my 5 year old sister, her wishes were once again completely ignored. My sister came home with an uneven haircut and zero layers. The rest of the staff is very friendly, my parents had received great service five minutes prior to this unpleasant experience. I received choppy blunt cut "framing" pieces after being extremely specific about what I wanted, I looked ridiculous and had to get it fixed elsewhere. They should have said no, the girl did a terrible cut, I didn't realize this until I was home, so I called to complain and They asked me to bring him back and they will fix it for free, so I took him back, and not much difference. Then a lad came in and said her son needed a haircut by forgot to check in but he did stick his head in the door earlier. Walked in with my son today watching one of the employees finishing up a customer. The moment she finished she threw the cape on the floor with all of the hair next to the chair. Another employee came and swept the hair along with the cape of of the floor. I asked if that cape was going to be put on my son and she said, well... we can grab a clean one if I wanted.
