Phew! This could've gone south fast, but I'm so glad they did the right thing - now THAT'S excellent customer service! Jacque asked what I was looking for, we talked, I even showed her a couple pictures, & she made recs to fit my hair type & face, as well. During my cut, I was very relaxed & at ease. Hair is an investment that I will never regret with Annie Trang!…read more I moved to Florida 4 years ago and I fly to California just to get my hair done by Annie. She's the hair queen so I travel for her because she is worth every penny and minute spent. She is the best investment I've made for myself. I learn a lot from her as she is very wise and understands my hair health and history. I never have "hair salon anxiety" with Annie because I trust her so much and know my hair will always turn out perfect in her hands. I'm always excited to visit her because I enjoy spending time with her as she is a good person inside and out. In addition to her lovely work, she is a lovely person and has a big heart. I always get compliments on my hair and so I always get a chance to talk about her to the people in my life. What people respond with is "I see why you would fly 8 hours for her." Her work is unmatched!!

Still loving Annie as much or even more then when I first started going to her…read more Post covid times has been very nice to have only her working on my hair without an assistant. She's like me, a perfectionist that cares about every single little detail, so if you're anything like me, I like my hair to be a specific way and she always hits the mark. If i get nervous during the appointment about it not looking the way I want it, she's always open to listening, reassuring me, fixing anything that might be off, or being honest and letting me know why my visions may be unrealistic in just one sitting. She's truly an artist and born to do what she does. I trust her judgment and always leave her appointments feeling more confident with not just my hair but my life struggles we talk about throughout my appointment hehe. She's a very busy person so please remember to book your appointments well in advance and be patient as you should with any service person but know that she really cares about her clients and will fit you in and accommodate any changes that you might need within reason. I've been going to her for more than five years now and her prices are reasonable for the industry of beauty :,) you get what you pay for and you pay for quality here. Just be detailed and specific about what you want, what you dislike, and understand and ask questions nicely if you have any concerns. Fair warning, if you want a hair stylist that doesn't talk to you or you need to get somewhere after your appointment, she does run late and does care about relationships with her clients and likes to chat. I'm someone who expects to spend the full day at the salon since my hair is thick and it takes about 6-7 hours to get this type of work done. I go in every 6 months and will bring work with me or something to kill time when I'm waiting around for processing and if she happens to run late. She's very clean and the studio is well lit and has nice aesthetics. Happy to say I won't be needing a new hair stylist soon. Although I do have to drive extra to her after moving, I like her work, her personality, her attention to the questions and concerns I have.

The second time I went for a hair color appointment and it was just as quality of a service. We talked through color options before she settled me in with the iPad and a coffee. I usually react to hair dye formulas so I've accepted it as part of the experience if I want my hair colored. But I walked out without any staining on my face and no reactions either. Because her hair was long. OK, if we had special needs or she wanted to cut a lot, etc. maybe it's more work. However, we just cut 2 inches all the way and had bangs. That's it. Nothing else. No color. Nothing. In what way does her long hair make a difference? it doesn't. It was a rip off and my daughter said 2 days later after giving it time that it was only Mehhhh.
