My first time in New Hope so I wanted to try a new beer joint. I thought this place was interesting enough since they are locally grown and brewed craft beer. We opt for the flights and the taste is not my fav. I've tasted many IPAs in my life but maybe my tastebuds didn't appreciate the "organic" brewed taste. Price: reasonable Ambiance: nice outdoor seatings Service: AWESOME. The owner was extremely accommodating by allowing me to use his phone charger and was attentive to us.

If you like a good view, to people watch, and beer...this is your bliss. Bartender was sweet and welcoming:)

We love stopping at Great Barn Taproom any time we are in New Hope! It is a great farm microbrewery sitting right by the Delaware River bank; relaxing, great beer and views! We have been here a few times and have seen a few favorable changes with time... They have added sausages, pretzels and other light fares to accompany their beer selections. They have also added a few tables that almost reach the water... Among my favorites, (dark), I enjoy their peanut butter/chocolate beer! Yummy! I also enjoy their Trailer Juice milk stout! Winner! Overall, a great spot to stop by either before or after dinner in NH!

I attended a private holiday party at this location, thought it had its charm next to Nektar this bar backs Into a smaller stream with outside seating and smoking area. We catered the food to the event and brought servers for the party. Cool venue to host a private party

Hey hey Adventurers! This place is awesome ! The gentlemen behind the bar were friendly, helpful and entertaining! Though I think I was just so excited to be there half the jokes went over my head haha. The place is down an alley way and has 3 different entrances since it takes up the entire basement of the establishment. Very open spacious bar area; they don't serve food just snacks. However this is a great place to stop before actually grabbing dinner---which is exactly what we did. There are flights of 4 beers for $9 ! You have 8 flavors to choose from. My friend and I chose the 4 we liked and sorta just shared the tastings. I really enjoyed the stout and the one that tasted like grapefruit. Trust me they have a beer for everyone! Outside is a small spaced out seating area; dog friendly (outside) and about 5 tables that seat 4 each. You have a view of the canal and twinkle lights to the right from other restaurants. Again we had stopped by here before moseying over to Nektar. We have a very pleasant experience here with superb quality overall. Will definitely be back again!

I stumbled upon a micro/ brewery in New Hope after going into a 70's store. It's right next to it. It's not a big place but it is cozy with a country feel. Lots of woods and interesting collections on the wall. When I walked in I saw a mannequin all dressed up in a revolutionary style costume and wig. There was funny paintings on the wall too. They had a 3 piece band playing which was ok, but that's not why we came. Known as the first farm brewery in Bucks County, Great Barn is the brainchild of married couple Maryana and Steve Ferguson. A lot of the artwork and paintings were done by Maryana.. The bartenders were very helpful in guiding me through their selections of beers. I decided to try their Lemon Basil Saison Beer. It was really good and I throughly enjoyed it. The combination of lemon and basil gave this beer a great taste and it was very refreshing. My friend tried their sampler of 4 different beers of his choice which he really enjoyed. All the beers are either 16oz ,and up unless you pick the samplers. They even have growlers you can purchase. All the malted beers are brewed locally in Bucks County on a 40 acre farm just north of Doylestown. You will not see the beer brewed at this location. These beers come from the creative mind of Christopher Bowen, an award winning brewer who is officially recognized as a beer historian. Their philosophy is Farm to Glass Essence. Going back to the land and honoring the ingredients that naturally grow in abundance. They don't serve food, but I was told this is a BYOF ( bring in your own food) They have a nice outdoor patio for relaxing which is located across the street from the Delaware River that runs through the city. While sitting outside you can see this and the top of the bridge. What's unique is there are two different entrances depending which side of the building your on. I sat on their very comfortable and cozy brown leather couch. I felt like I was in someone's home with a bar. One of the bartenders even came over to me to hand me a sample of a beer I wanted to try. I thought that was very sweet. If your looking for something a bit different, and like the idea of everything locally sourced then this is your place to try. I will definitely be returning.

Great selection and tasting beers. Farm to bar! The dunkle was great along with the stouts and pilsners and cherry pie cider (7% ).

Located next to Nektar restaurant this brewery has been open since August according to the barkeep. Place seems to do good business on Saturday afternoons. The beers offered are very good. Flights are $9 for a choice of four. They had eight to choose from on our visit. I only had four, and all were good. We were told the actual brewery is located in Kintnersville, about 20 miles North of New Hope. Outside seating is available, weather permitting.

Amazing all around! Great variety! Quick efficient service. Friendly knowledgeable bartenders. Beautiful view outside with a nice outdoor area.

I had a cousin visiting from the West coast who is, "in to trains" like Sheldon Cooper! He was absolutely thrilled. We all loved how the people in the houses along the way waved to us. When I rode this train last year, it was truly an awful experience and thought it was ridiculously overpriced. Don't get me wrong, it's still overpriced! But what has changed that I could see was a massive improvement in customer service with the workers we interacted with. I only returned since there was a ticketing snafu where somehow I got charged double. Last year, I tried calling to resolve it and despite all my efforts, they would not refund my money. With this in mind, I booked the Santa Train since I already had most of the train cost covered with last year's double booking from the credit that I had on file. My family and I came during Thanksgiving and I was initially really surprised by just how empty our car was. It was the last train of the night, but still, I would have thought a busy Thanksgiving holiday weekend would have been packed. It could also be that people like us have booked in the past, got frustrated and swore off coming back for good. I waiting to board the train, and was standing outside in the freezing cold weather and the worker told me I could hop on. I really really appreciated this, since on my last ride, I ended up standing outside while the train was in the station but they were super strict on the boarding time. Once inside the train, they were efficient in the boarding and making sure we were comfortable. Off we went, and we were entertained by singing and the band even requested songs by all those in the car. And other staff offered to take our family's photo. Santa came through and even gave the kids a little gift. Santa and Mrs. Clause spent plenty of time chatting with my kids and it was very nice to see. There is a small cart that is rolled out where you can purchase drinks including alcoholic beverages for the adults to add to your hot cocoa. They also had some snacks for purchase. A nice touch was the complimentary hot chocolate and baked cookies. My daughter got caught up in the excitement and spilled hot cocoa all over her lovely dress. Not only did the workers offer to help clean it up, but they even brought over a bottle of sparkling water for us to use along with a towel to clean her up. The woman helping out even got in and started scrubbing the dress with us. We had a nice dinner planned for after the ride and it was just a really nice gesture and my partner and I couldn't believe how much was improved from our previous experience. I'm willing to come back and give this place another shot.

Husband got a Caesar wrap which he liked. I got the stir fry veggies with rice and I added chicken. The veggies were crisp and plentiful, sauce seemed to be teriyaki. Good chicken. I was so excited to eat it, I forgot the photo! The only problem for me is the rice was fairly scant. I like lots of carbs. If we were just going home, I'd have a snack but we were out of town so I ordered more rice which took a while again. And they gave me a full side order which was too much. But still, all the food was excellent and exactly what I'd wanted.

Year-round and especially on weekends, visitors clog the narrow sidewalks on Main Street, window-shopping or enjoying one of its numerous eateries. This was my first time back from an 11-year hiatus. My partner and I decided on a quick bite for lunch yesterday and chose Fran's Pub, known as Biker Central in the spring/summer on South Main Street. It offered multiple distinct dining areas to match one's mood, whether enjoying a family dinner on their semi-enclosed patio, playing pool in the pub bar, or people watching from the impressive large outdoor seating area with umbrellas or heaters. Greeted by the staff upon entering as first-timers, we sat in their semi-enclosed patio, whose doors that opened to the street had the nice warmth of the sun. With a five-page menu consisting of house-made or house-prepared dishes that cater to all appetites, we decided on a small Beef Vegetable soup (soup of the day), Hot Pastrami Pub sandwich, and Aioli Pesto Chicken sandwich. The sandwiches accompanied house-made Fried Potato Chips. Food was tasty and satisfied our stomachs. Service was fast, friendly, and our server was Melissa. Price was reasonable. All this just added what I call "free extras" to the already low price. Plus there are shopping baskets, bottles of water, and storage cases for new wine while on your journey. This is a well thought out operation. We had a group of 5. Our biggest concern is who we would sit with on the bus; however, after the first stop everyone was loosened up (the first stop allows you to pour or own samples!) and the conversations just started rolling out. We had a great time and thanks to Linda for making it work out.
