Food and service were great. There were three of us that ordered entrées so we shared in order to experience each of the three entrées. So, I had an egg roll, a little chicken fried rice, Pork egg foo young, and moo goo gai pan. Everything was great! My family has been coming here for years but I don't live as close to it now, so it's a nice treat & worth the drive. Food comes hot and is delicious. We ordered two dinner specials. Each comes with rice and an egg roll. I ordered sesame chicken and they were kind enough to give me 1/2 pork fried & 1/2 white rice which I was super happy about because not many places do that. My fiancé got sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice. The chicken was nice and crispy, not soggy. We also got a large wonton soup, which I think had 8 big wontons. Owners & service was great. So tonight my sisters and I decided to binge on greasy food and this was the place we decided to do it. The inside of the place is pretty gnarly if I'm going to be completely honest. It was kinda filthy. Things you should know: No delivery. Cash only. What we sampled: Wonton eggdrop soup-Super salty, but that is how I like it. I just wish the broth was thicker. Free egg rolls. We ordered a bunch of stuff but egg rolls were not on the list and we got them anyway! Best egg roll I've had in a while, too. Pleasant surprise! Crab rangoon-Sweet, which I normally don't like but for some reason these were addicting. I think I ate 3. Dumplings-pretty good! But I was so full I only ate one. This is a Chinese take-out that has about three tables and ten chairs in case you wish to eat on premises. We have used this thirty or forty about times in ten years. Food is good, tasty, sufficient. Not very greasy. They say "No MSG," and we have never once felt ill afterwards. Friendly service. I phone, then go there to pick it up ten minutes later. Reasonable price. Our take-home dinner tonight came to $8, more nutritious than two quarter-pounders from McD. Sole criticism: the floor and walls are old, scuffed-up. read more

last time i trust yelp reviews when it comes to chinese takeout...been fooled twice now, shame on me i suppose decided to try great asian kitchen to satisfy a chinese food craving after i read the great reviews on here...i don't know where else these reviewers have gotten their chinese from, but if this is what they consider 4 or 5 star worthy i really have to wonder from start to finish this place left a bad taste in my mouth...first the customer service - called & asked about delivery: no delivery (strike one)...ok, i'll pick up - what's the bill? quite a bit more than my usual spots (strike two)...ok, here's my debit card: nope, cash only (strike three)...should've read the writing on the wall, but i was starving & decided to give it a whirl anyway big mistake: food was processed & boring...wonton soup was reminiscent of campbell's canned chicken soup, lots of salt & not much else - and to make matters worse, they use those cheap crappy pre-made thin noodles (yuck!)...crab rangoons were chewy at best, and the sweet & sour sauce they came with was more like red jello...boneless spare ribs were not horrendous, but i like them with a little char, and these were a bit underdone for my taste in the future i'll stick to J&J as they are hands down the best chinese takeout in town: better food, homemade noodles & lower prices...this place will never see another dime from me read more
