Let me just say I was loyal to this location for years (~ 10+ visits at about $100 per visit since I get full synthetic) and the last visit here has me SO EXCITED to NEVER go back again. I recently discovered they have loyalty punch cards (I was never given one), so I asked to be given my free oil change by verification of my # of visits in the computer. Which the guy that I see EVERY TIME I GO refused to do. I didn't want to be that bitch, but I was definitely owed at least one. So I asked for the manager (whose name is Tom-- stay away from Tom). WORST HUMAN IVE EVER INTERACTED WITH. Accosted me in front of another customer, told me I was asking him to be dishonest in giving me the free oil change, etc. I pay the $96.66, call customer care and get put in touch with the owner, Bob. Of course the owner is super understanding because Tom and his idiot employees don't understand how loyalty/business works, so he gives me punch cards for my next TWO free. But it doesn't even stop there!!! My car starts leaking so much oil after the change. I take it to my mechanic two days later to find that the incompetent grease monkeys forgot to replace the seal in the oil filter and my car leaked out almost every drop of oil they had put in. Two weeks later I finally work out a deal with the owner to refund my bunk oil change and reimburse me for the repairs I had to get because of them, in exchange for the punch cards back which i was HAPPY TO DO because it meant never having to see them again. My story ended well but I've wasted so much time and money on these guys for absolutely nothing. Long story short, they're incredibly rude to even loyal customers and their stupid mistake could've burnt out my whole engine. AbsolStay away. read more

I really liked this place. I had been bringing my truck here for more than eight years. They were quick and there was usually not a wait. I took my truck here several months ago and one of the technicians stole my sunglasses out of my truck. I noticed they were missing immediately after I left the shop. I made a U-turn and called the shop. I spoke with the technician that service my vehicle and he said that he did not know what Ray Bans were. I told him that they were sunglasses and I knew for sure that someone stole them because they were in my truck. I told him that when I got back to the shop that the glasses better be returned to me or I was calling the police. When I pulled into the parking lot, the technician was walking up to my truck with my sunglasses in his hands. He was intentionally meeting me in the parking lot because he did not want the staff and manager to know he took my glasses. He said that they had gotten sucked up in the vacuum. The worst excuse ever. Anyway, when he gave me my glasses back, he made a comment about how he knew how expensive Ray Bans were. This is odd since two minutes ago he had no idea what Ray Bans were. I thanked him for my glasses, left and immediately called and talked to the manager. The manager seemed very concerned and promised to get to the bottom of things. He assured me that the whole incident would have been caught on camera since there were cameras all over the place. I had to bring my truck back a week later because the check engine light was on. My wife and I went there twice. We will not be fooled again. First time we left with only an oil change and an (upsell) air filter. Next time into our mechanic he said that our drain screw was stripped and we'd have to replace the entire oil pan if we did not want to put up with an ongoing (and new) leak. Second time, my wife left with oil change and the manager said our transmission fluid was too high. Naturally, he offered a flush. My wife refused and before we could get into our mechanic to check our "check engine" light came in. Our mechanic said no problem with transmission but a few wires were not reconnected at some point. Coincidence......we think we will not tempt fate and stay away from that Monkey's greasy hands. read more

Grease monkey is the best. They take care of my car, are quick, knowledgeable and super friendly. Tom the manager is super awesome, has recommended other places to get certain things on my car done, and they let me know what things i need done on my car. Was not happy. I asked what oil would be used. House oil~ what the??? is that~ It could be reused as far as I know. It has been running like crap ever since. Went and got a second one at Break Masters on Houghton where I will go from now on. Thanks Break Masters your the best! read more

well well well.....we went to the Grease monkey today to only get a simple oil change ...they come out and say we NEED and radiator flush...my boyfriend had taken the car so little did he know I had just had one in February ...so he went ahead and did it ....when he called me and said it was 125.00 I was outraged ...immediately I called and asked them why it was so much they told me its because I needed a radiator flush ...really? that's funny because I have documentation right here saying it got done 4 months ago not needing another for 20 months ....so all he offered me was half my money back and sent me on my way REFUSING to give me any information for the owner or corporate.. I am still really upset with this and I for warn everyone that goes here they are scam artist just to get your money ....literally lying through there teeth.....never will I return...and it wont rest at this.... read more

This shop has been servicing my 3 vehicles for at least 4 years. The manager, Tom, is a true professional and actively oversees every step of the service. The employees are courteous, on the ball and tuned in to their jobs. You'll never see any horse play here. I especially like the way they check all running lights when vehicle first enters the bay. Waiting room and restroom are always clean. I would never take my vehicles anywhere else. read more

Price of an oil change was posted as around $30. Final price was $90. That was without all the other suggested up-sells. When I asked why it was so much more expensive than posted, I got a very vague answer and a shrug. After a long awkward pause, I received a discount of around $10. This is an outrageous case of bait and switch, communicating one price and then billing for another with absolutely no discussion of a change in price. read more

Been in Tucson for 2 years now and i have tried different car shops. This location is by far the best. They have a great staff, quick turnaround time and lowest prices with many coupons. The only place i would get my vehicles serviced. read more
