The staff were really welcoming, walked me through my options in a way that actually made sense, and they worked fast. The cost wasn't too bad and I'm glad I ended up here. The only downside was they couldn't actually change my oil because my regular shop had done something to the oil plug and Take 5 would've risked damaging it if they tried. They were honest about it, showed me what they were talking about, and didn't push anything unnecessary. I had them do everything else, then went back to my usual place for the actual oil change. Not their fault, just annoying.

I travel interstate quite often, so i interacted with a lot of professionals working for this brand. At this location, everyone was doing what was supposed to be doing, from air pressure to battery check, changing oil/filters, etc. It did function like a good oiled machine. 3 bays, all functional, extremely clean, everything was new, from tools to computers. Just a reminder, to all of the potential customers, it's just oil change and simple maintenance. Don't expect transmission/engine flipping...I want to mention by name the entire crew: Alex, Brig, Damarion, Logan, Brycen and Deadrian. My apologies for misspelled names. Thank you, Valvoline for hiring such a positive, talented, professional team. A+. Highly recommended!

He broke it to me that the car required more repairs than it was worth, and that my current shop was not doing a good job at maintaining my car. Maybe he felt bad for me, maybe he wanted to make a show of good faith, but he didn't even charge me for the diagnostic in that instance. I ended up selling that car for scrap and eventually buying a new car. I brought the new car in for a pre-purchase inspection and WOW, Jessy and his team really showed their true colors on how thorough they are! They checked absolutely everything. They even checked the cabin air filter because he told me that a rodent had built a nest in it. They found things that other shops had missed. Is there such a thing as being too thorough? Jessy might be! But I'd rather have my auto shop be extremely thorough and triple check everything rather than be sloppy and miss things. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality is obvious, right down to how they require appointments for their shop. They want to make sure that every single car gets the attention it needs. I can't recommend Mike Palmer enough and even though I don't live in the neighborhood anymore, I will make the trek to come back here for my auto repairs and recommend them to all my friends. Jessy is a truly honest mechanic who just wants to help you do your best to maintain your car. How do I know? They're not trying to make money nickel and diming you on easy fixes. He could have fixed the cabin air filter for me without asking and taken the easy win but instead he said, that's an easy fix and I easily figured out how to replace it on my own. He wasn't bothered by the fact that I wanted to change my own oil either. Jessy is your true ally in keeping your car running in tip top condition the best way possible.

Instead, they drained…read moreall of the coolant, failed to refill it, triggered a check engine light, disconnected my battery to clear the code, and sent me home without coolant in the engine. After we insisted they tow it back the next day, they still didn't repair it. They've had my car since Friday and refused to return it. They also told us that if we took it to the dealership, it would void the warranty. Good times. For the record, simply having a dealership inspect a vehicle does not void a warranty. Nathan and Abby, here's what I can't understand: if the cooling system was flushed twice like you claimed, how were there still metal shavings in the coolant when the vehicle arrived back on the tow truck? That doesn't add up. In my opinion, this shop has been dishonest from the beginning. They damaged my vehicle, refused to take accountability, and then acted like I was the one being unreasonable for expecting answers. It's now Wednesday. They've had my car since Friday. How long did they think it was acceptable to keep my vehicle while leaving me, a disabled person, without transportation? If everything was done properly, why were you so determined to keep me from taking my car to the dealership? Dealership technicians have the tools to review the vehicle's data and determine what happened. At this point, I just want my car repaired correctly and returned.

This will be long because these guys deserve a proper review. We were in town from Las Vegas and…read morewere staying in Provo. All the eletrical in our car went out we assumed we needed a battery which is something we change out every few years because Vegas summers are brutal. We changed it out but the battery light kept flashing on and off we thought we need to drive the car so the battery can juice up the car. We drove from Provo to SLC for a graduation and on our way back at around 9000 S. the electrical started going out again and we pulled over at a Maverick. We were told after making a call to a shop that its probably the alternator considering the battery change didnt fix the issue. They also told us that they werent available to take it until the next week which wasnt an option for us because we had to get back for work. I went on Yelp and Best Buds Mobile service popped up with 5 star reviews so I called. The gentleman that answered was genuine as explained that we thought it was the alternator. He gave me a quote that was within what I was willing to pay. I asked him if he had a number to a tow place so I can get it towed to them. He said "its ok we come to you". I was surprised but then "duh" it says "mobile" in their name. He also told me it would probably be about and hour and a half for them to repair. WHAT! It really did seem too good to be true. The shop we had previously called quoted us double what these guys quoted. They literally showed up within 30 min they arrived at that Maverick parking lot and probably less than the time frame he told me it would take them to fix it we were on our way back to Provo and now we are home and our car is running perfectly! These guys are a gem! I Googled the cost to replace the alternator and they were within the range. So Im going to say they are honest. I wish they were in in Vegas. But now we know if there are any car repair needs for us when in Utah or our family we will be reffering Best Buds Mobile Services. Thank you for the best auto repair service we have hands down ever had!
