There are no appointments either, just drive right up and they will take it from there. I contacted play ground & spoke to George. First everybody who answer phone was rude & George was a cry baby. I explained my son was only 19 & they took advantage of him. Also find out that play ground charges to put your vehicle bAck together after they tear it all apart & get upset if you choose not to let them fix it. Was suppose to be put back to original state. I would not recommend them, they try to blame customers, take advantage of young adults & I'm sure would do it to women also . Nothing more then another greedy & unethical local business.

Current management staff is curt and discourteous. Bad experiences started around 6-7 months ago. I had brought a vehicle in for a repair, I was called and told it was ready for pickup. Right before I arrived I was called again to tell me that my transmission was dropped, but it was fine. When I came to get it, I had to sign a paper stating that I was accepting the repair and damages as is without looking at the vehicle. The check engine light came on before I left the parking lot. I took it to another repair shop, to discover there was damage from the transmission being dropped and once that was fixed, car was fixed. I have brought two other cars since that incident for basic oil changes and the customer atmosphere has changed dramatically. I would no longer recommend this location.

Carl is a good guy, as well. He's a little terse, but is happy to talk to you about anything, if you are nice to him. I have used this location for years - it is next door to my neighborhood. I bring in my own oil and filter - only pay for the labor - which comes to about $30. The oil/filter (Mobil1 synthetic/STP XL filter) are usually about $25 on sale at Autozone. I put roughly 3200 miles a month on my vehicle (370z) and "baby" it quite a bit. I wouldn't use ALF if they didn't do good work. These guys do a great service and you can count on them to do it right.

I was referred to them by the staff of the used car lot and while waiting on AAA towing I spoke to their secretary who after lunch sent the owner and another tech out to my location. After being towed to their place I was told I needed a new fuel pump. They pulled up the schematic for my car, ordered and picked up the part, replaced the part and topped off all of my fluids all in about 45 mins. The price was cool and the staff nice & accommodating. We were fixed and on the road in 45 mins. I'm thankful for all involved in making this minor inconvenience.... smooth. Spoke w/ MATTHEW @ TIRES PLUS yesterday & he encouraged me to stop by so they could check my tire. I left to run an errand & returned about an hour later. They did a thorough inspection & discovered the slow leak was caused by a leaky valve stem. They replaced it & also inspected the other tires. Matt assured me my tires were safe & had many more miles left. What I thought was going to be over $1k for new tires ended up being a $20 repair! I brought in my luxury Cadillac sports car, expecting professionalism and quality service. Instead, I was handed a greasy disaster and a $4,500 hole in my wallet. They installed what can only be described as a bargain-bin, off-brand differential, completely unfit for the performance and specs of my car. They had also claimed that a barring was broken so they just "fixed it" real quick. When I called to confront them about it, the staff acted like they were on a hidden camera show--lying through their teeth, and clearly had no idea what they were talking about. The "mechanic" assigned to my car? Sketchy, and couldn't even show me the parts they claimed needed replacement. Why? they had " scrapped it already"Because either they never replaced them, or they were just trying to get another Buck out of me And then there's the manager. He seemed great at first....... but...Oh boy. Confront him and he flies off the handle faster than a rusted lug nut. Claims he's "been working on cars for 27 years" -- maybe, but clearly not with any integrity or customer respect. Experience means nothing if you're defensive, dishonest, and treating customers like they're stupid.
