Went to a local shop for an oil change & to have a slow leak checked in my tire. I was told that it was hard to find but they found a small hole near sidewall that couldn't be repaired but would replace the tire for $405! I decided to get another opinion. Spoke w/ MATTHEW @ TIRES PLUS yesterday & he encouraged me to stop by so they could check my tire. I left to run an errand & returned about an hour later. They did a thorough inspection & discovered the slow leak was caused by a leaky valve stem. They replaced it & also inspected the other tires. Matt assured me my tires were safe & had many more miles left. What I thought was going to be over $1k for new tires ended up being a $20 repair! I've been taking my vehicles there for ten years now and have never wanted to use any other place. I've bought new cars and have never taken them to the dealership to change my oil or give me bids on work to my vehicles if not covered under the vehicle's warranty. I leave those issues to this facility. Estimates are always in your best interest and quotes for always reasonable with no addons for miscellaneous parts and labor. Please give Mike or Keith a call to get u you in for an inspection for your vehicle next time you need a basic oil change or a second opinion you won't regret it. They do a lot more then change oil and tires. I had a gasket replaced 3/10/22 and they were fast and reliable. Each member of their staff is highly trained and very skilled. I want to give a huge shout out to Michael at tires plus. I've been taking my mom back-and-forth to the hospitals where my stepdad is for 5 1/2 weeks every single day. Which in itself has been very traumatic. I've been staying at my moms for support and helping her. We woke up this morning for our daily trip to the hospital and looked in the driveway and my tire was completely flat. So at 7:45 AM I called tires plus and spoke with Michael and explained my situation and how I had to get back up to the hospital after I dropped my mom off as soon as possible, and he told me to bring it right in and he would take care of it. My 2006 Lincoln Town Car had the alternator die out on us when we were leaving Navarre Beach and then the old Interstate battery developed a bad cell and died out after about 20 minutes later, trying to carry our engine's electrical requirements as long as it could. The car's engine began to quit on us about a mile and half from Tires Plus as I tried to drive it there. I have AAA so I got a tow to Tires Plus. Lizzie and Mike at Tires Plus had the battery and alternator tested as soon as I got the car there, both components were dead just as I thought. Both Lizzie and Mike went above and beyond exemplary customer service with getting the parts and getting them installed a full day ahead of schedule due to the store's heavy work load. Not to mention that they both recognized the stress I was under when I first called them and explained that my wife and I were there in Gulf Breeze for vacation from Cape Coral, Florida and my Lincoln had to get us back the 587 miles home! I'm blown away by how every time I take my car in it comes back with a new problem that they refuse to take responsibility for. Every chevy gmc forum says when the battery was replaced the air started blowing out defrost only. Well they changed the battery and guess what??? Air blows defrost only. Took it back in. They say coincidental!!!!!!!! Really? They won't fix it. This happened with a belt last time. They replaced the belt then it flew off. They claimed no responsibility. Don't use them. read more

Well, two bad experiences: the first one was after they had serviced my wife's car. The mechanic placed the oil filter the wrong way and all the motor oil spilled on the road while we were driving to Canada from Florida. We had to have the car towed to another repair shop in Ohio. That is were I was told that the oil filter Had not been placed the right way. On top if it, the mechanic had left tools hanging around under the hood! Fortunately, the engine was not damaged. The oil filter was replaced and we were able to hi on our way. Second instance: there was a noise in the brakes that they had replaced few weeks prior. We were given an appointment. We brought the car , and they told us that they would look at it . We never heard from them until the next day, when my wife was called because a leak was found somewhere in the engine. This was totally unrelated to the reason that we had brought the car for. When I asked the employee why they had not detected this leak when the car was serviced, he became defensive and outright rude to me. I do not recommend this place. read more
