Great Experience! I went in to get a lightbulb fixed and the team was very polite and helpful. The manager Scott was very personable, friendly and hands on, he actually worked on my car himself. I just found a new place to get my Oil Changed and other services. read more

I like getting my oil changes here. The staff is always nice and the service is good.

Their team approach really works. They get you in and out pretty fast and iare very nice and accomodating.

During a routine oil change, they identified a leak in the transmission fluid cooling line. This is not something that they can fix, but I did appreciate them pointing it out so that I could get it fixed! I would not have noticed it on my own, but it was real (leaky hose as it turns out). read more

Good service and attentive to detail. Quick in and out service. Attendants very cordial

I've been going to this Grease Monkey for years! They did so quickly and I was on my way! Thank you for great service Grease Monkey staff!! read more

Strong recommendation and a hugeshout out to the entire team! My wife took her car there of an oil change and they told her they were concerned she had a leak somewhere. She noticed it and went back and they went way beyond what we expected. They found the leak, explained the issue to her so clearly she could explain it to me with confidence. They then took pictures of the problem and apologized for not having what they needed to fix it (a bolt head sheered off) so they explained what is needed. They then did what they could to make sure the oil levels were ok and cleaned up as well as they could. Truly Service beyond even a high expectation. Oil is the same everywhere so polite competent professionals are what makes the real difference. THANK YOU! read more

I live in town, I'm come here all time. It's quick service, there always respectful to everyone and they only recommend what you need. They never try to push extra on you. Number one spot for oil change. read more

Very Disappointed in this location and never experienced anything like today i was just waiting for someone to tell me if there anything you need or what kind of service we are doing today very unprofessional service i got on May 26th, 2022 and what lazy people who worked here i wouldn't recommend this location read more

No problems with this oil change business....quick, efficient, easy peasy! Will recommend....

Let me tell you about this place. They were busy first thing on a Saturday morning. Several cars in front of me. Came in for an oil change and you got two guys running through the line of cars busting their hump, they get to my car some time after and they were very friendly, apologetic for the delay and explained how two people had called off sick so they were short handed. They didn't try to upsell me with all the filters and miscellaneous possibilities, they even taught me how to remove and clean out my air filters. They noticed a tail light had just gone out and they replaced that as well. I had a coupon and they found an even better one for me to use. Honestly, it was worth the wait, great customer care and will come back again. read more

Fast service, however on my way home there was an under engine panel that was not secured after the oil change that was ripped off while I was driving. When I called this location to ask about what could be done whoever I spoke with was dismissive and said it probably wasn't their fault but he could take a look at it for me. read more

Great technicians who take the time to let you know your options and give knowledgeable insight into other potential issues to be aware of in the future. read more

Nate at grease monkey in Mundelein was unbelievable today he saved mine and my children's lives!! I told him my steering wheel was shaking,he checked it out and it happened to be bad tie end rods which, with in a matter of no time a terrible accident could've happened. Nate went above and beyond to order the part and take care of it. When really, he did not have the time the place was swamped. Grease monkey is lucky to have such a great employee like Nate. read more

One of the only places that was actually open on a Sunday. In and out very quickly, and stayed in the car the whole time. The workers were really knowledgeable and walked me through what they were doing. The shop was clean. All in all, a no-stress experience! read more

do not go here to save 15 dollars. you want to get treated like shit by highschool drop outs. talked down too. i have never been treated so disrespectful in my life. these guys could add a dolar yet tell me there is a reason why premium oil is more expensive than the generic. fact they are the same. the advertising of the brand name is why it costs more. dont pay to get treated like this read more

Most reliable honest oil change service in the area. They don't try to talk you into services you don't need and are always thorough. Scott is someone you can go to with questions and know he's being honest with you. A+++ read more

A few weeks ago I came into this establishment only because my significant other had been coming into this specific location for years -- so..after years of been told to come into this establishment..anyways to make a long story short I was told that I needed a part for my vehicle after getting my oil changed -- I was told that I had nothing to worry about and that they would call me once the part arrives (so.. I waited) omw to work a few days ago -- I decided to call them and I was assured that the part would be there the same day -- I'm still waiting on that call and moral of the story.. businesses like this will NEVER get another dime from me so I went to another shop and my vehicle is being repaired. I'll never tell my family or friends about this establishment. read more

Very disappointed with the service had to request they check all fluids because initially they did not and when they checked they did not even take the caps off. Went to another location after and power steering was low as well as coolant ?? They lost my business forever worse than a dealer shady tactics. Had to ask to check the filter as well makes me wonder if they changed the oil ? Long time customer taking business somewhere else read more

I was very happy with the service I got at this station. It was recommended to me by someone who has known the owner for years. The recommendation was that this business runs on honesty and fair pricing. That means a lot to someone like me who doesn't know much about cars. The employees were very friendly and informative. They explained what was needed and why, and discussed options. I will be a return customer. read more

Took my son's 2001 Jeep Cherokee to Grease Monkey today and the young man that worked on the car was amazing. He went above and beyond service. Was very informative of what the car needed. He also called 3 different places for the car part needed so I didn' have to around myself to find it. He found a place that had the part and had it delivered. The service there is amazing and will definitely have my business again. read more

Best place ever for oil changes! Jeff and his team always go the extra mile to make sure my car is safe on the road. Very knowledgeable staff. They've even diagnosed mechanical issues that need attention too. And with over 250,000 miles that's important for me. Thanks so much! read more

I'm giving 3 stars because I've heard from my parents that they really like this place - so maybe my experience was just a one-off. I pulled up this morning around 10:30. I walked in and saw 2 mechanics working on the two cars in their shop. I stood by the register waiting for someone to just acknowledge me for 15 minutes. They never did. I ended up walking out and leaving. Even if they were busy, a simple nod of "we will be there when we can" would have been appreciated. read more

Never a bad time here. They even have a clock that starts when you pull in, and if they don't hit under 20 min for basic service, you get a discount. They explain things that are concerns about your vehicle that you don't need to address immediately, and there is zero pressure for extra services. They even recommended an alternative place that could offer a service cheaper. They do vacuum, tire pressure and window cleaning at no charge. read more

Great place! Highly recommend to anyone in the area. Staff (Tony) and team are very helpful. I came in to get a head light changed (all other places couldn't change it due to car model FORD Fusion 2016) without removing my bumper. 100% satisfied plus there pricing is very reasonable! read more

Best oil change place I've ever experienced. I've been going to them a while now. Always quick service and very friendly guys. As a female who isn't knowledgeable about cars, I get scared having to go in for anything car related. But these guys are so nice and they inform and educate you without pushing you to purchase anything. I just had my car serviced at my dealer last week so I knew what was needed versus what I had paid to get done. When Grease Monkey checked my car, they had the exact same report. Really professional workers in this establishment. Very happy with their service and I will always be going here and nowhere else. They have won me over completely. read more

I don't know why these places feel like they need to scam. They need to pay their employees per filter or something. I took my daughter's car here and there was nobody in the underbay changing filters. Three cars came thru while I was waiting and not one filter was changed. If they aren't going to change your filter, they should charge less. If your filter doesn't need to be changed yet, give a discount. Don't say the oil change includes filter change if you are not going to change the filter every time. Owners need to keep the employees accountable by having a picture of oil filters each night, one they can use to reconcile the amount of oil changes to oil filters. In 2017 this is just bad business. read more
