She says a regular oil change so she points at the full synthetic option and he doesn't educate her or suggest a different option. I came in for an oil change on my older model Toyota Tacoma on Saturday. The assistant came to inform me that there was a problem. I walked out to the bay and the lead guy tells me that my oil pan is dented to the point that he wouldn't touch my vehicle. I've lived in the area for 40 years and been to this location many times without a problem. The dented oil pan happened in 2015 and although unsightly is structurally sound. It wasn't that he refused the service necessarily, but his adversarial condescending demeanor that really had me upset. I drove up to the grease monkey on broadway a couple miles away and had a great experience, very efficient and professional. I will be using them from now on. read more

I went to Grease Monkey on 9/6/24 to have my cabin air filter and my air filter replaced, what a disappointment.. I will ever go back. I was over charged per the pricing on the web site for the services preformed. When I got home and checked the work they had done I found several screws missing that had been replaced. A screw and socket was left on the floorboard of my car. The quality of service was very poor, and the value for work done was overrated. as I was over charged for the work. The Manager was very unfriendly and I did not fell welcome. I call them and they did resolve the issue. I would advise never to do business with this company. read more

I brought my Subaru in for an oil change, they failed to replace the plug in the oil pan, and when I drove away I dumped my oil, and my engine seized. The car had less than 50,000 miles on it, and I had just bought it a year before. They took my car to replace the engine, and my contact was Silver Martinez who, never gave me an apology, complained at me about how expensive the repair was, and treated me like crap through the entire process. I had to bring the car back to them multiple times for repairs, and I told them that the engine was full of leaks. They didn't care, or listen. The engine failed after 30,000 miles. I'm a single mother, this was the first car I purchased in 14 years, I worked so hard for it. It only had 38,000 when I bought it. It should have lasted me a long time, but because of Grease Monkey, now I have to either get rid of it and start over with a new car or replace the engine, again. Do not trust these guys, I started going to them after my dad (who did all my oil changes) died, and it was a huge mistake, it was an even bigger mistake trusting them to replace my engine with a quality engine, but they didn't care about that. They did not think that I deserved the best service, and the best replacement part. This is a multimillion dollar company, and they didn't want to pay to ensure I had a good reliable engine put in. Not good is right! I took my car in for an oil change. When I started to drive away my "hood open" light activated. I drove back in and they " closed" it. Then my start/stop indicator light went on. My husband researched it when I got home and one cause was an open hood. I took it back in and they claimed they were not at fault. Clearly it happened there. They were rude. Acted like I was lying. My husband figured out the air filter box was put back in wrong. He is not a mechanic! They didn't even see that??? The manager was supposed to call me and never did! I downloaded yelp just to give this review, but they almost completely ruined my car. I went in for an oil change and they took out my air filter and put it back in WRONG which lead to dirt getting in and ruining the sensors in my car. My husband broke down on the side of the road, had to get towed and my car has been in the shop for days. Also they said it's due for an oil change when keep in mind I supposedly just paid 100$ for one...Only go here if you hate your car and want them to ruin it :) read more

I went there for an oil change and honestly do not think they changed the oil ! My oil change light came on about 3 weeks later. They quoted me the wrong price and when I asked them to fix it they absolutely threw a fit ! The guy went and got his manager and he too threw a fit. The next day I couldn't get into overdrive and when I opened the air filter housing there was -- get this -- dog food in the housing. I complained I was being charged to much for a simple oil change. $123.00. and he Insisted that was normal. My fault I did not review charges nor did he go over charges with me. I went home and found the error and I went back to have the bill corrected. 2 hours spent needlessly. I suggest everyone review bill before leaving no matter how busy they appear. It would be okay if they only did what you asked. Greeted promptly and courteous asked what I wanted. I told them just change the oil use mobile 1. Don't take anything apart because last time it didn't get put back together correctly. Don't check the air in the tires because they have after market TPMS and require a tool to put back on. 15 minutes later walks in with air filter and cabin filter asking about replacement? I'm asking what part of don't disassembled anything did you miss? Yes took off the tire sensors so I could recheck them with the tool when I got home. Probably the most expensive 3 1/2 quarts of mobile one I ever bought. I still won't know if everything went back correctly until I get a few miles on it. There was no oil in the car, and when I took it to another technician they said that the engine was shot and I need to either replace the entire engine or get a new car. There were no visible leaks and they said the reason why the car was broken was because the previous technicians did not fill it with oil. Brought my car in August for some basic brake work. They quoted me for $250 for the parts and labor before I left the shop. I came back for the car after 24 hours as they said it would be done by then. They told me the job wasn't done due to their brake tech wasn't in. Ask me to wait another day and they'd give me 20% off. So I obliged. Came back the following day to pick it up and was handed a bill of $900 dollars. They stated all four brakes were damaged and needed replaced and that the calibers were needing replaced also. I complained to their manager and stated I wasn't notified of such work was needing done. He stated the work was done and we had to pay he gave us a slight discount and 20% off of the grand total. I paid the bill and went on my way. I wrote to grease monkey corporate directly and nothing was done about it no phone call nothing to try to make it right with me. 30 days later the caliber bolts fell out of them in which that held them in place. The calibers were grinding against the wheel well. I then returned and demanded they fix it for free. They did so and complied. I told the manager that someone forgetting a much needed bolt in a job was highly unsafe. He shrugged it off. 4 months later another bolt fell out and one of my brakes is now grinding again. Total mileage since brakes were fixed by then was a total of 8000 miles. Those brakes should last a total of 50k+ at least. Whatever anyone does be sure you never take any thing with wheels here. I would even steer clear for them even if it was on my bike. Management for this place ignores you the staff doesn't care and the corporation as a whole doesn't care for your safety or well being. read more

Stopped by on "ladies day" with my new to me car. They told me exactly what kind of oil I need (because I had no idea that it's on the underside of the hood. They got me in and out in about 20 minutes. I also asked about rotating my tires, they said since my car was so new, I don't need to get them rotated yet, but it would have only been an additional $20!! 5 star customer service! I discovered a bad oil leak coming from my Ram 1500 and I brought it in 10 minutes before this location was scheduled to close. I was 45 minutes from home and instead of getting a tow I decided to risk it and head to their shop. These guys greeted me at the door and told me to pull it in for a leak check. They discovered a hole in the filter and replaced it for me despite the fact they were all getting ready to go home. This took about 15 minutes total and I was out. Bad experience! Took my Ford in for oil change, they only put 2 bolts back to hold the skid plate which left it flapping in the wind. I took it back and they told me "that's how it came in....the previous oil change business must have left the screws out". I let them see the paperwork establishing the fact that the the last place was indeed their establishment! Blame game stopped. They only had a few screws so they put them in and wanted me to come back when they could get more screws. When I returned they pulled it in worked on it and said its all "done". Recommended by one of my car guy friends. I think this was one of the most positive ecperiences at a quick lube. Very fast. Professional. Friendly dudes. Comfortable waiting area. They did try to upcharge me with different services as expected but i did oblige on one of them as i knew i needed it. The tech said he could not remove my fuel filter safely becayse it was rusted out and advised me going to a full service shop which I appreciated their honesty but i would prefer a little more effort so i gave em 4 stars. I would advise using an online coupon as it can get a little pricey. Overall good experience though and I will go back. read more
