This store stripped out one of my skid plate bolts on my 2023 Tacoma and hid it from me. The damage was found by the dealer service dept during my subsequent oil change. $200 with of damage I will never recover. Thank goodness they didn't strip out the oil drain bolt. They will never touch one of my vehicle's again. Go here at your own risk. Follow-up: I did contact the VP of operations. He was very polite and arranged for one of his mechanics to repair the damage. I will do another follow-up once the repairs have been done. Final update: Grease Monkey followed up and repaired the damage. Not severe, but the repair was done quickly and correctly at no cost to me other the inconvenience. I can't say enough good things about this Grease Monkey location. I misplaced my keys while I was there (totally my fault), and the staff went out of their way to help me find them they were so patient and kind, even though I felt like I was wasting their time. On top of that, they still got me in for my oil change without hesitation. This is the only place I trust for oil changes. It's convenient, efficient, and the people are always super nice. I've never had a bad experience here, and today just reminded me why I keep coming back. read more

When I arrived I specifically asked them not to change the oil filter as I had installed a rather pricey long life oil filter that did not need changed. I asked for a drain and fill. The service advisor agreed and I left the vehicle in their hands. Upon checkout, I saw that I had been charged for an oil filter. They stayed they had in fact changed the filter. We talked about me not asking for it, but they refused to take it off. They offered a discount, but when it came to the cost of the long life filter that I had already purchased and the cost of the new filter, I definitely lost money, it's going to burn every time I get my oil changed as the long life filter was good for at least 15K--only had gone through 5k ... Not pleased at all, and very disappointed. In addition, they said they checked the lights and all were working when know that there is one that is out. I went in for an oil change May 15-18 and they replaced my cabin filter. My car was making a thumping noise and after taking it to a mechanic, the filter was recklessly put in and cause my ac motor to hit it and now my motor/ac isn't working. Some kids were working that day and I'm not sure what made the job difficult but now I have to put more money and attention towards a newly caused problem read more

If you value your car or your life DON'T GO HERE. My friend recently had an oil change here. While we were going down the interstate the skid plate fell off and rolled up under the car (because it wasn't screwed back on tight enough!) THANK GOD we didn't get into an accident while trying to pull off on the shoulder. We had to get a tow truck to take it back home since they weren't open at the time. The next day she called and explained the situation. The "manager" David said they would get someone out that day to check it out. Waited around all day with no follow up. The next day she contacted them again. David said he would send someone over with a trailer to load it up and bring it back to their shop to take a look and replace the plate. We were greeted outside by a guy named Riley and no trailer in sight. He informed us he was there to drive the car back to their shop as is, with the plate still folded up under the car and scraping the pavement! We were concerned driving it like that would cause further damage to the undercarriage (if it hasn't already), however my friend already spent her last bit on cash on the tow from before and couldn't afford another, so she hesitantly gave the guy the keys. She sent a text to the "manager" about how that wasn't what they agreed to. I guess he got scared about her having that in writing, because he called her saying that Riley was only there to take the plate off so she could drive it to their shop. (He completely lied and blamed it on the guy "misunderstanding" him.) I don't think David planned on a couple of women questioning his idiotic plan... so he improvised by shifting the blame. So once she went back outside Riley had the skid plate taken off of her car already (without double checking for her permission, just going off what David told him to do) She took pictures of the plate. Once she was back at the shop the "manager" David informed her that it wasn't their fault. That they don't touch the skid plates to do oil changes. (LIE!) That she must have hit something while driving. (She didn't, I was with her!) She asked how they changed the oil then if they didn't touch the plate. (A quick google search will show you that the plate is removed for oil changes) Then he started stumbling over his words and just kept saying we'll fix it thought. We'll fix it. I told my friend to get a receipt of what all they had to fix afterwards just for proof. David informed her that there was no way to get a receipt but she didn't need one anyways because they weren't charging her (for their screw up). She insisted she needed one for her records and he said the only thing he could do is make a note of it on her information in their system. (really you couldn't even write on a piece of paper what you fixed?? Oh that's because you would actually have to own up to your mistake and that you lied!) And if it actually was my friend at fault you wouldn't have fixed it "for free". Just own up that your shop made a mistake, it happens. What's NOT acceptable though is a "manager" lying out his ass! This place is a joke! And if Davis's boss sees this, please let him know his lying cost you customers read more

I was hesitant to use this location because of a past bad experience but I needed it done. First thing I noticed was the renovation happening. Nice to see that. Next was the great service. I believe new owners are there and are making it a better location. The staff was on it!! They worked quickly and like a team. I had to leave a good review after that experience. My husband swears by this place, so I decided to try it today. I brought in my 2019 Ecosport and asked for the basic oil change. After a few minutes, a larger guy came into the waiting room and told me I needed a full synthetic because I have a turbo engine. Actually, I DO NOT. There's a totally different model with a turbo. I argued with him, but he insisted. I ended up paying double for my oil change, over $80 which is ridiculous. I'm appalled that your employees treated me like I don't know WTF I'm talking about. The second I pulled the tires off, I knew Grease Monkey tried taking advantage of a young lady. The pads have another 15k-20k miles of meat left in them. Truly pisses me off! read more

This is the worst oil change place I have ever been to. I went there to just get an oil change. Told them I wanted nothing extra. They never told me how much it would cost. As I waited and waited, I could see thru the window all the mechanics standing around talking. The hood of my car was open but no one was working on it. Went to get my oil changed the other day and couldn't find anyone to help me, so I went in the bay and asked to see prices. The guy I spoke with told me to pull the car around to the bay, but didn't give me any prices or even attempt to answer my question. When I pulled around, another guy asked me what I was doing over there. I told him, and he told me rudely that I was in the wrong lane. Two people being rude to me in 30 seconds loses my business. When I drove away, the second guy was yelling at me from the parking lot. I will never visit this location again. read more

I have been taking 3 vehicles to this location for approximately the past 3 years. During my oil change this past June, a tech came out to discuss with me the need for fluid change in my differentials and transfer case. My vehicle is front wheel drive, not all wheel drive. I dismissed it as a young kid who doesn't know much about cars and is only going through the upsell process just as his company trained him, and I politely declined the offer. Same thing happened during my next oil change in July with the same vehicle. I took the opportunity to ask "why does my vehicle have a transfer case?" And he replied "because it's part of the all wheel drive system". I then told him it is not an all wheel drive vehicle, to which he responded "the factory still puts the transfer case in there". That is a lie, and he should know that. He was kinda hoping I was dumb enough to believe him I guess. I shook my head and declined the service. Upon receiving my vehicle and paying for the service I decided to review my receipt/work order. On my bill is a "4 Wheel Drive Upcharge/AWD". Here's where it gets interesting....I walk back inside, and into the Bay Area-where all the techs happened to be. I held up my work order, and confronted them about it. While I was explaining what I wanted done-and before I was able to really tell the guy about what I found, one of the techs in the bay below a car starting yelling to his colleague something to the effect of "just refund the $$ and apologize" and other things I could not make out. I walked over to him in the bay, bent down and explained to him I didn't appreciate the dishonesty. I told him it may work on people who don't know anything about cars, but they should seriously consider ending this practice of scamming people because enough people were going to figure it out and they were going to lose business. None of that was received however, because he kept talking over me. I let him know he was losing a customer at that moment-due to the dishonesty and the fact he wouldn't listen to what I had to say. I then informed the manager the same thing-the manager by the way is who told my my front wheel drive vehicle has a transfer case. I also let him know I'm the car geek who saves every bill for everything I ever have done to my vehicles and I would be checking every invoice for the past 3 years. Sure enough-and shame on me for never doing this before, they've slapped the 4Wheel Drive upcharge onto my service a total of 9 times over the past three years. Is the $3.00 charge going to put me in the poor house? Nope. It's not the money. It's the shady practice of doing this to people. It's the dishonesty. Should you decide to give Grease Monkey your business I would strongly recommend inspecting your invoice. I personally would not recommend doing business with them. Just got service and upon paying the bill I asked the greeting person why he didn't wear a mask and suggested that it should be company policy. He said nothing and walked away and gave me a gesture over his shoulder. I asked if he gave me the finger and he would not acknowledge the question. Upon getting into my car there were things from the glove box on the seat and I found something I was looking for from the seat in the glove box. There clearly had been tampering and the radio was changed from satellite to blue tooth from the phone. Will do more than post this review. I was under the impression they check your power steering fluid during an oil change? Had noises in my car this past year so I took my car to Grease Monkey awhile back. They changed my break pads and gave me an oil change but I guess they didn't check the power steering fluid because i just found out it's been empty for months. I continued to drive it with noises until the next oil change today, this time at Goodyear where they realized my power steering fluid was bone dry and the real culprit all this time. If it's not included and I'm mistaken then I apologize but this a routine thing they check with any shop I've ever been to. read more

Just had an oil change in my rv. Called ahead to see if they would work on my vehicle. if it fit they would. Got there. Guy screems at me bay 2. I asked what the recommend. Since it's a vehicle 120k+ miles. Asked if they would flush the radiator. If it was running hot. I said a little yes. He said he would look at it. 20 minutes later he says they are done. Said his machine to flush was broken. And it looked fine. But if I wanted it done I had to go somewhere else. Team of people there were more interested in looking at phones than customers. I asked if they put a sticker in my window. They did not. Did not give me a receipt. Don't go here. So many other quick lube places. read more

They STOLE out of my car while vacuuming (I wouldn't accuse either unless I was absolutely sure). I had place the merchandise (in a sealed bag) on the backseat just before pulling into the shop. When I got back in my car, the bag had been opened, the contents removed, and the bag shoved under the seat. I spoke with the manager David, who showed me the video cam footage. Unfortunately their angle isn't going to show up from him vacuuming the back seat (as it's in the corner of the shop from the front side). He said in the minute he was back there, it would have been enough time to take anything. I'm not stupid guys. It's plenty of time to put something in your pocket. David obviously prefers to have the back of his employees who steal. My advice, take everything out of your car. I didn't know they were going to go through my whole car, or I would have hid things a little better. Luckily it was only about $50 to me, could have been a lot worse. read more

First, they do not service vehicles in the order they come in. Then, if you happen to mention this to them, they get pissed off. Then, when they checked me out, they told me I had to initial that my vehicle had an oil leak upon arrival. This is NOT true! If I had an oil leak, then there would be oil in my driveway. There isn't a drop of oil in my driveway! If the staff at this Grease Monkey (Grease Monkey #95) punctured my oil pan and I find that they have created an oil leak in my vehicle, I will hold Grease Monkey responsible for the repair of that leak. I hope this is not the case but if I find even one drop of oil in my driveway, it will just confirm the incompetence and vindictiveness of the staff at this Grease Monkey. I have also filed a complaint with Grease Monkey and the BBB. This is the worst service I have had yet at this place and I will NEVER go back to this, or any, Grease Monkey. read more

Wow! The District manager contacted me and addressed every issue I had. Not only did they service my car for free but he also refunded the entire oil change and apologized very sincerely. Him and the store manager (who wasn't there at the time of my initial encounter) both met me at a service station and personally oversaw the work themselves. This is my go to oil change spot! Sometimes it is very busy but when you catch them at the right time they fly! I have been in and out in 15 minutes a couple times over the last 3 years! Even when they are busy they are hustling hard! The longest have ever waited is 45 min that's with 2 cars in front of me outside bay and one in! The customer service is top notch! I used to go to this Grease Monkey religiously - the guys there seemed nice and professional and usually could get my car in and out pretty quick. The last time I was there for a oil change I left thinking it was great, like all the other ones prior to that, however, they ended up breaking my hood-latch and never said a word to me. I found out the next time I was going to go there and my hood wouldn't open. I am the only person with access to my car and they were the last ones to work on it. Again, the guys there have been great in the past, but after this last time, I will not be going back as it cost me a pretty penny to get my hood-latch fixed. read more

I typically will take my families vehicles for service to Jiffy Lube near SW Plaza. Always have a 4 or 5 star experience with Jiffy Lube. However this morning I decided to take my Wife's new Subaru into the Grease Monkey Kipling and Bellview. Everything went fine. Upon checking out at completion the gentleman identified himself as the manager asked where I usually take my cars for service. I explained my preference for Jiffy Lube. This fella told me that if I would bring in our other car he'd offer a discount for bringing in multiple vehicles. I returned later in the day based on what the manager had said. They remembered me. I was offered a discount of $1. I think these guys simply don't have authority to do what they say. Everyone seemed to just have a bad attitude. There are better places for service. I have had such poor customer service here. The latest incident was about 3 weeks ago. My husband brought my vehicle in and they told him they vacuumed the vehicle. They did not. I called and a staff member told me to write a review. I could not imagine the owner would appreciate that, so I asked the staff member for the owner's office number. This was my first ever visit to Greasemonkey. I went there for their full service oil change which includes a 16 point check. I was received well and got the answers to the questions I had asked in a professional manner. At checkout I asked if everything was OK in their 16 point check and they answered, yes (they never really did a complete check as advertised, unfair and bad service). I told the manager that my brake light was not functional (I knew, because just a few days back I was stopped by a cop). Jimmy, the manager was prompt to ask his subordinates to recheck the lights and the answer I got was all lights were functional except the tail light and he would replace it for free. I believed him and was careless not to check before driving home. The next day I was lucky again to be stopped by a cop. This time I found none of my rear lights on the same side were functional. I was impressed by the managers words but it lasted mere 24 hrs. Now, this makes me think did I really get authentic synthetic oil change for the money I paid for? I am going to go back to this location again tomorrow and update my review. Here is the update: the assistant manager took care of my needs and got everything restored back. The issue was fixed in less than 5 minutes. It was simple, the lights weren't installed well or tightly secured. Thanks so much, Kurt. This also suggests the lights were not inspected after it was installed. The workers certainly needs supervision and it also implies there is a fair amount of risk involved when leaving your car for service, in case it goes unsupervised. read more
