I went there because of the reviews I read here on Yelp and I was very happy and impressed with the customer service. I got an oil change and they were very quick (less than 30 minutes). I also appreciated the fact that they didn't try to pressure or sell me anything additional. Always the best experience. I've had to go elsewhere a few other times (when traveling, etc), and I'm always reminded of why this place is so great. The customer service is the best you will ever experience. Everyone there is kind, knowledgable, efficient, and honest. I know I can trust them when they suggest I change a filter or get some work done, because they tell me honestly when I don't need to! There are always coupons available online. There are a variety of sodas as well as popcorn, all free while you wait. They will always vacuum your car and clean the windows for free. Plus, ladies always get a free flower! I've never taken the time to write a review for anything- guilty- but the service I just received cannot go un-bragged about. Not only was I in and out in under 20 mins (standard oil change), but I was behind 4 other customers. They replaced my windshield wipers for free, gave me a voucher for a free carwash, a $10 off coupon at checkout, were friendly, detailed, honest, and just as I was about to leave -smile already firmly planted on my face- the mechanic calls me back to hand me some fresh carnations. I had spent my morning at a not very busy Jiffy Lube for an oil change and emissions test just to be told after an hour and a half of waiting that their emissions computer was down and I would need to go somewhere else for my test. I drove down the street to Grease Monkey which seemed much busier, and expected to have another long wait. They were extremely friendly and I was out of there in 20 minutes flat! They definitely cheered me up and offered me a free carwash, popcorn, drinks, and a flower. They definitely earned a new customer today. read more

Seriously LOVE these guys. They always go above and beyond. Stopped in today because I thought my power steering was low. They found it was fine but was low on oil. I really like this company and this location, I especially appreciate their focus on service--I love that I get a flower every time I visit and today I even got four free jack-o'-lanterns for my kids just for being a customer. It is really nice to see a company going out of their way to exceed expectations. Of course it is a oil change shop, so be prepared for all sorts of upsells, but you're going to feel happy and treated right throughout the process and they do good work. read more

Went in to get my oil changed and everything was great. I enjoyed the popcorn and soda and the guys weren't too pushy about up-selling. However, they put the cap on my coolant wrong and the next day the cap broke and my car almost overheated from losing all of the coolant. The price is great and the people are nice, but get your work done by someone who knows what they are doing so that you don't have to pay an extra $50 like I did. read more

There was a mix up and my car was registered under another vehicle. I was required to pay my registration again but grease monkey took care of the issue and paid for my registration so I didn't have to double pay. It was their error but the quickly fixed it without any questions. read more

The first time I had my oil changed here they didn't have the drain plug threaded so oil was leaking everywhere (further more they wouldn't honor their advertisement to match the price of quick lube competitors), however, when I took it back the manager was incredibly nice, replaced my drain plug, and gave me a voucher for a free oil change. This immediately redeemed them for me until I went back to cash in on the voucher and they overfilled my oil. If you know anything about cars then you know how detrimental too much oil can be and that is why I docked 3 stars. The manager is wonderful, but I question the competence of their technicians since I've consistently had them muck up their signature service. I'd recommend changing your own oil over coming here. read more

I was so pleased with my visit to Grease Monkey in Centerville yesterday. My car needed an oil change, smog check, and safety check. I was able to get all this done in about 20 minutes. The service was excellent: knowledgeable, friendly, and with no up selling. I walked out with my car completely registered with the DMV including getting a replacement month sticker for my plate and a fresh, pretty carnation flower. I learned that Grease Monkey gives a free service, I believe they said oil change, to all veterans who come in on Veteran's Day. What a wonderful way to say thank you for serving our country. My mechanic recommends this Grease Monkey shop...and so do I. read more

I went in with my husband on a Saturday to get our oil changed and emissions done for renewal. They were very friendly, and- my favorite part- informative without being pushy (which is so different from most car shops). Their system was down so we couldn't get the registration done that day. When I went back in myself a few days later they immediately greeted me, used my name and addressed my situation without needing my reminder. There must be half a dozen quick lube shops within a mile of our business, but for nearly ten years we have chosen to drive to the next town to have Grease Monkey take care of our fleet. Why? Why on earth have I been going to Jiffy Lube all these years? I just discovered Grease Monkey, and I love it. They have a clean waiting area, the staff are friendly and respectful, the service is very quick, and they don't try to "up-sell" you on services you don't want. Plus, a flower and a car wash? Wow!
