I originally didn't want to leave a bad review so I wrote to them on Facebook, they saw it but they never responded so I guess Ill leave what I wrote to them on here. "I wanted to let you know about my experience picking up an order tonight. I called and asked if I could place an order for curb side pick up and the girl on the phone said yes, just call us when you get here. I called when I got there and the girl on the phone said, can you possibly come inside and I said I was told I could do curb side pick up and she got a slight attitude and asked what car I was in, so I told her I'm parked right outside by the first handicap spot in a grey toyota _______ and she said no problem I'll find you. About five minutes go by and I hear my name being screamed from someone by the entrance of the restaurant so I got out of my truck and walked to the curb and she was like oohhhh... sorry I didn't know what car you were in. I am not sure if you are offering curb side pick up or not but I definitely was not treated the nicest and usually I have no problems with the customer service here. If curb side pick up isn't available that's fine, just tell me on the phone instead of screaming my name at the curb. Sort of defeats the purpose of staying in my car for pick up." read more

We love grazers as we have gone many times but today was a poor experience. We ordered fried pickles to start and never got plates for said fried pickles. The server/bartender also never bothered to ask how they were, never offered more water when we finished the bottle, never gave me the hot sauce I asked for, never checked on us to see how our entrees were, when she came to get our plates she said "are you guys all set?" Instead of asking how the food even was.. then another 15 minutes until we get the bill, finally we get the bill give a giftcard and she's giggling with her friends loudly at the bar about how we were paying with a grazers giftcard.. super unprofessional. All around bad experience. Which really sucks because we had happened to love this place. Also had her friends sitting at the bar and paid more attention to them than any of her tables. read more

My first time eating here; nice little pub style restaurant. I like the setup of the place, modern industrial feel. I had the Frazer burger and my wife had something called "Lamb Cigars". Just waited for 45 minutes with my two sons for a table. After watching others stroll in and be seated I asked for an update from the hostess who said "oops" and asked if I had received and texts or calls from them, which I did not. This happened to another guest waiting with us as well. Night out with my sons ended up at McDonald's. Well the food is good but that place is dirty. The ceiling vents are dirty, this is above your food. When you use the restroom you see that the carpet is totally black with dirt and grease. This made me feel uneasy thinking that the food is contaminated. I think the food is good but man it feels like you're eating it in a shit hole. Not a good experience today at Grazers. Long wait with my only half the tables occupied. The other half of the tables were still dirty from previous eaters. One hostess who is way overworked. Along with seating people she was the only busser and was also seen bringing out food. Other waitresses did not help her out at all. Rather they just moved dirty dishes from one table to another not bringing any dishes out back. Half the tables were dirty and were dirty for the entirety of our lengthy time at Grazers due to extremely slow service. As far as the food goes, the burger I had was mediocre at best. The steak and cheese egg rolls sounded great but gave me an upset stomach most likely due to being sopping wet in frying oil. Good beer selection. First and last time to Grazers for me. It took an hour for our two burgers to come out, while everyone around us got their food even though they were large groups that all came in 20-30 minutes after us. When our food finally came out the buns were cold and it just didn't taste good. Keep in mind there were maybe 5 or 6 tables on the whole restaurant, it was not busy. GREASE BOMB! $14 burger was the size of a a slider, yet I couldn't finish it because the beef was so greasy and under seasoned. I asked for it cooked medium and it was cooked well done. Waited 30+ minutes for a burger and fries, both of which were cold. Our waiter checked up on us once, when I asked for the beer menu, then disappeared until we were completely finished with our meal, at which point i didn't even want the beer anymore. Only saving grace was the chicken philly, which at least was hot. Found out once we got the check that the single soda (no refills) was $3.95. Went to Graisers in Williston a year or two ago and was unimpressed. However new location in my neighborhood in Winooski, so I thought I would give them a second chance. I went with my wife, place was empty, bartender recognized we were there and said he would be right over. Over five minutes later as we watched him wipe down tables, look at POS system and walk into the kitchen for unknown reasons in a mostly empty restaurant we decide to go next-door and get some Chinese food at Mandarin. I would be happy to probably not go over there again I would rather go to Agaves send this restaurant. They do provide military discount when I asked about it it took her over 15 minutes to be able to give us our checks because she had forgotten that I asked her for a military discount she was too busy talking with her friends at the front desk until she locked eyes with me realizing I'm waiting on you and I want to go home then she took me seriously which I don't like doing that because I want to have an enjoyable environment with my friends and my family but instead I had to play the role I'm upset customer and that's not okay in my book. read more

Update: after giving 7 additional visits I'm going to lay it out. I really enjoy the drink menu. It's worth going at least for that. If you're looking for a hangout by the movies - Grazers is absolutely fine. Still holding out hope on some of the menu items. I've tried half the burgers - sampled anything recommended, and have to say that the Maple BBQ Brisket sandwich is my favorite. Fantastic cucumber salad. Should be a great small dish! Grazer Burger is good, as well as the Beet Salad. The dollar oyster special is good. I also enjoy the VT chili fries. I won't go into the disappointments because it could be a matter of opinion. Objectively - some of the salads need to be rethought. Quinoa should be light fresh fluffy and vibrant. Rethink your recipe. We showed up for a late lunch, so there weren't many people there. They had their lunch special - 2 turkey burger sliders with fries or salad for $10. We went with the fries. :-) The turkey sliders were moist and flavorful, with a good amount of cheese. Not sure if they make the buns in house, but they were good too, not a short wimpy buns. The fries were good - maybe a bit over done for my taste, but that's personal preference. We also got their caprese salad. It was a bit overpriced. $9 for 4 slices of tomatoes and 3 slices of mozzarella. They mention they make their dressing in house. It was a bit bland, so it didn't enhance the dish. First impression are important and our first impression of Grazers was a large beetle rolled into our silverware. Menu boasted some great looking options, but ended up going with 'the grazer' burger. Food was served more than 30 minutes after ordering which felt too long for burgers and fries. Burger was fatty and tasteless with brown limp lettuce, special sauce just tastes like citrus, ketchup, and mayo and leaves much to the imagination. Fries also arrived entirely unsalted with absolutely no flavor otherwise. Party members ended up with uncrisp fish and chips, and a pulled pork Mac and cheese with lazily splashed barbecue over the top that masked any otherflavor of the dish. Went to pay for drinks and leave and every waitress looking at me from the kitchen and bar refused to come to the counter, including our server. Finally bus girl came and got our server to come help us. Server apologized and said drinks were free, and we left. This was our 2nd experience here... the first time two people in our party ordered Mac and cheese and were not notified that they were out of Mac and cheese until everyone else's food was out. Their meals were comped and they got to choose something else for free. Family member wondered if restaurant staff was being prejudice or rude.... it's Vermont so every other table had only white customers and of course all of them received great service and food. Could be a coincidence or deliberate. We didn't stick around to find out. I have been to Grazers twice and I have enjoyed it each time. The first time I got the quinoa salad which came with spinach, quinoa, feta cheese and some other veggies. I also got sweet potato fries. The salad was very good and a nice size, and the sweet potato fries were awesome. The second time I got the black bean veggie burger which had arugula, avocado, cheddar, tomato and onion. It was one of the better black bean burgers I have tried. The bun was very fresh. The french fries were seasoned well and I really enjoyed the few pickles that came on the side! My boyfriend had the VT BBQ Bacon Burger with sweet potato fries and a glass of the Trapp beer. (They were out of "it's complicated being a wizard" but it's awesome they even had it as an option!) I decided to go here after going to the movies. The place has a nice atmosphere and there wasn't a wait. The menu is easy to read and the pricing is average. They serve you water in old wine bottles, no ice provided but I'm sure you can ask for it. The bar seemed to have an extensive menu however I did not order a drink. I ordered the green mountain burger lettuce wrapped. The food looked better than it tasted. The burger was dry and I had to cut it with a knife. The lettuce wrap was romaine, I ended up not eating it because it was a bit messy for a lettuce wrap. The burger came with mixed greens which I did not eat because it was drenched with a sweet vinegar dressing. The pickles that came with the burger were sweet as well. I have to say that I have been here twice. My servers Matty and Caitlyn were incredible. They were prompt and helpful. Matty was so funny and knew the menu really well. Caitlyn suggested a beer that was a mix of two beers- it was great. I love when you an go to a place and try something completely new! I ordered the farm burger one time and the spicy burger another time. They were both great. The spicy one was the best. All in all I will be back many times. I ordered The Green Mountain Burger with Truffle Fries. The burger was cooked to my liking and the truffle fries were very good as well. My date had the Black Bean Vegetable Burger. It was a little spicy because of the sriracha aioli but was not over powering. All the favors blended very well together for her meal as well as mine. I enjoyed the vinaigrette on the salad, but wish it had more veggies than just lettuce. The chicken sandwich still had the aioli on it which I had requested to be removed, but I still ate it because I didn't want to be "that guy".
