My boyfriend ordered the byson burger which was delicious but do not order the black bean burger what ever you do. The burger falls apart and there is no taste. I've been there like 4 times. Every time we went it was very pleaseing. We tried the turkey burger, vt , bacon cheeze burger. We thought they we great. Both times I ordered my burger was overcooked, and both times they forgot to include dressing for my side-salad. Mediocre at very best. I have only come here for the milkshakes. They were very wonderful! They give you a pretty large portion and are full of flavor! As we looked at the menu the prices are pretty reasonable for a higher end burger place! Einstein once said," Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." and for this restaurant it's true. I gave it another chance after being disappointed several times before and once again was let down. We (3 of us) got there a 3pm because we had a movie at 4:10pm, thought maybe that'd be enough time to get drinks and food and make our movie with no problem...yea think again. We were sat down and drinks ordered (3 alcoholic milk shakes) a few minutes after that took our dinner order, 1 poutine 1 chili for appetizers. Our meals were 2 sandwiches and a pulled pork poutine. Don't get me wrong food was delicious but the drink order didn't get delivered to us until a half hour after ordering them. Their excuse was the ice cream was too frozen...uh heat up the scoop. Our meal didn't arrive until 15 minutes before our movie started (almost an hour after ordering a few sandwiches) we had to ask for the check when she brought the food, eat fast just to catch the movie on time. I took my daughters out to lunch today and was extremely disappointed at the service by the wait staff. We were seated promptly, but were never acknowledged by a server for over 15 minutes. Three staff walked by us and never even offered us water. Needless to say, we left without lunch and two very hungry little girls. Overall, a frustrating and disappointing experience. read more

We had been meaning to try this place as the patio is always packed when the weather is good. I had the farm burger (includes a fried egg) and my wife had the barn burner (against her wishes as I didn't pay attention and thought it was their standard burger) to go. Both were delicious but my wife found hers to be a bit spicy about 3/4ths of the way through (she didn't know I ordered the wrong one). I also ordered Poutine and was impressed by the gravy flavor, but the cheese had kind of melted into one giant brick and it was tough to get a good distribution of cheese/gravy to fries despite being delicious. This will definitely be our go to burger spot here in Williston and I can't wait to try some of the other combinations as well as the local beer on tap! read more

We've tried a different burger every time we've gone and also had a few different "small plates." You HAVE to try the bacon jalapeño rangoons. I gave the food 5 stars but the service two stars. There was ten of us and we all really enjoyed our food, the burgers tasted great and where cooked right! And the fry selection was amazing, but the service was spotty. Our server was nice and smiling but it took a long time to get change from our checks and when we needed more beverages, we couldn't find her, but what we could see is a bunch of people hangout around the host stand. This is a typical Handy family enterprise. The object is to make money, not please customers or have pride in the product. Thus, this restaurant pretty much stinks. Dismissive service and food that a high school kid with a flattop grill could make. If you feel a need to support one of Vermont's most avaricious families, then go here, or the other Handy enterprise across the street, called Vermont Tap something. They both stink. I tried twice but disappointed both times. There is really nothing special about this place or it's food. The burgers are better described as novelty honestly and literally next door you can go to McGuillicuddy's and have the same burger by paying the $2 upcharge for grassfed for several dollars less (on Sundays after 5 they even do half price burger night so $6 for a huge grassfed burger with fries). The food was over priced!! And not that great. The service was on and off had to call the waitress over several time, there was only about a dozen people in the place. The floor is a skating rink. The stupid iPad billing sucked they ran my card 6 times and got it shut off, ended up paying twice. And being on the phone with the card company for an hour trying to get it straightened out. All the waitress had to say was " sorry you will have to figure it out with the bank. And we need up doing this to someone else the other day. They got charged 3 times." This was my first time at Grazers and it wont be my last. They had a great selection of beers (which is a must in Vermont), apps (Poutine is recommend) and the bacon burger that I ordered was perfect. But the true highlight of my experience at Grazers was the friendly staff. It is such a rarity to have an engaging and friendly waiter or waitress. I am certainly not the easiest costumer at times. My waitress, Olivia, was happy to let me sample a few of the beers on tap and all my burger modifications were handled perfectly. She was very knowledgeable about everything and ultimately helped me pick both the exact beer and burger I wanted. Thank you Olivia for best restaurant experience I have ever had. I wanted to like this place since my friend works here, but alas...I arrived with my mother and grandmother for lunch and were seated promptly. Our waitress came to take our orders and left. I had asked for straws for our waters but she never brought them. Our appetizer of loaded fries arrived, but she again forgot the ranch dressing I had asked for on the side. Very small portion and fries weren't the greatest. My mother and grandmothers entrees both came and before she left she asked us if there was anything else we needed. I said "just my caprese salad when it's ready". A few minutes later she returned to tell me they were out of mozzarella cheese (she had clearly forgotten to order my salad in the first place). I said I didn't want anything else. I was pretty annoyed - she never came back to check on us and we finally asked another waitress to help us get our check. She comes over and takes my mothers credit card off the table and my mom said, "can I see the bill first please? I had been looking for our waitress but can't find her" and the other waitress goes "are you in a hurry"? No I'm sorry, let me find her, etc. the girl finally comes back and I ask for the check and when she finally brings it, it still had the salad that I never got on it. She removed it when I showed her it was still there, but overall such a poor experience. The service was slower than molasses. Went there while on vacation with the family on a Saturday night. We ordered mac and cheese with pulled pork, some steak tacos, poutine, sweet potato fries and 2 milkshakes. With tip, $70 which I thought was kind of high. The food was good, though. Fries are fresh cut with a good flavor, although could have been fried a bit more. The steak in the tacos were a bit chewy but not too bad. Milkshakes were watery at $7 a pop. Place was empty and it's a big place. The noise level was provided by employees hanging out at the bar. Sat down and the worlds worst waitress came to our table Kayla is her name... .. asked her what kinds of beers they had, she handed me a menu and said I don't know... look in here. Received my meal... took a bite, spit it out and sent it back... called her over and said this meal is disgusting... she looked at me and said... well I asked you if you wanted it grilled or not! I said it tastes terrible I want if off my bill.. she said whatever I am not going to fight with you.... NEVER came back to the table to ask how anything else was, never asked if we wanted refills on our drinks.. came over with a check and said here this is, do you want anything else? Seriously? I said, well had you come back over 20 minutes ago, we would have had another drink...but forget it now.. she said well you didn't tell me you wanted anything else when I took your meal away.... then I paid with cash... it took her and 2 other people to try and figure out my change.. she said is it all set? I said absolutely not! I want change... I will not reward anyone for foul service..... she needs a lot of work! The food is not all that it is cracked up to be... cant you just make a nice normal salad?? Oh that is right, you have no veggies! This place is pretty disgusting. It sucks when you go out to eat absolutely famished and it really clouds your judgement. The service was so ridiculously slow, if I hadn't been in drinking mode on a Friday night with my best friends I MIGHT have been annoyed. I digress...I ordered my burger medium well and I received it an hour later so raw it looked like it had just been butchered out in the parking lot by some kid named Rico. And what on earth is a lettuce wrap? Unfortunately, I ended up eating most of it, because like I said, the hunger. The waitress was surly and weird and I was taken aback by the fact that they pretty much bring an iPad to your table and ask you to sign off on your bill and tip right there!? What if I wanted to discuss how shitty the service was with my girlfriends first and ask what they were leaving? Awkward! Oh and I forgot how the hostess insisted on calling my friend "Alison" Steve, and pretty much yelled STEEVE in her face when we didn't get up and go to our table. I mean, Steve was before us on the list so I'd have no problem pretending to be him but that's not the point. My fiance and I ate at Grazers last night and I have to say it was pretty tasty! We started out with drinks (beer and something called tequila mockingbird) and my drink (the cocktail) was pretty teeny. Just a minor annoyance, if I'm paying $9 for a drink, I want it to be slightly larger than 6oz. However, it was well made and yummy so I guess I can't complain too much about the quality vs quantity thang. We then got the spinach and articoke dip (do it! So good!) and I got the beet burger and my fiance got the fish sandwich and sweet potato fries. I was extremely happy with my burger, it was cooked well and the goat cheese was a pleasant addition. The homemade bun was also really good but probably could have stood to be toasted (this is probably just me though, I like everything toasted)! Our waiter was really great and attentive, however, it was pretty loud in the restaurant so when I ordered fries, my plate came out with mixed greens because he probably couldn't hear me. Which, honestly, I'm glad that either the waiter or the kitchen messed up my order because the mixed greens with their vinigrette was delicious! And after all that spinach dip, I needed something that resembled healthy on my plate:-) All in all, very VERY minor bumps in the road, don't let that deter you- my fiance and I left happy and stuffed! Hmmm where do I even start.. Well let me just start by saying I downloaded this app just because I felt like I had to let others know what my experience was like at Grazers. This experience happened at the Grazers in Williston. To start with I walked in and stood at the host table for 15 minutes before anyone even noticed. There were maybe 6 tables with people at them a couple folks at the bar... so I'm wondering why I waited 15 minutes for someone to notice me standing there. While I was standing there I noticed that half the lights in the restaurant flicker like not a little bit enough to give a person a migraine. Finally someone came over and addresses me! She even asked me how my day was(the only good part of my experience). I was sat at the high tops, nice looking, clean but the worse chairs ever, I swear by the time I got my appetizer came out my butt was numb and i just wanted to leave and go home. I ordered a fun berry margarita and Pokenachos as an appetizer to start with so I could look over the menu a little more! The drink came out and it tasted like she had just squeeze a lemon into a cup then poured tequila in, no sugar or salt rim, no berry flavor! Like wtf man. My super sweet waitress got me another one and it was much better but still you'd think the bartender could make their "specials drink" correctly. I was amazed how fast my appetizer came out! I hadn't even had time to think about my entree yet. The plate looked so pretty and put together! I ate about half the dish when I got a piece of tuna that tasted so bad, I spit it out into my napkin and after further inspection I noticed it was a grayish brown color and it smelt like sooo bad. I decided that I wasn't going to order an entree after that so I got my bill and left. I wasn't even halfway home when I got really sweaty and felt feverish and as if I was going to hurl. I had to pull over and get out. I was throwing up and had diarrhea for 24hrs. It is safe to say I will never be returning and I will be telling this review to everyone! read more

Grazers is on my way home from work so if it was consistent I'd eat here 6 times a month, easily. I like the cocktails but sadly the burger meat is really gross (spongy texture between my teeth) and I've never had anything excpet the fries that made me say 'mmmmm'. I've given this place multiple tries because on one hand I love the fries (wow!) and the cocktails are good, and I'm always in the mood for a good cesar salad.... but the last time I went I had bacon-wrapped poppers and the bacon was soft and floppy and fatty (not crispy) so I pulled it all off and left it on the plate. And the burger I ordered felt gross and spongy between my teeth so I only ate a few bites before giving up. Upon seeing all the unfinished food on my plate the waitress didn't even ask if everything was ok - and with two cocktails, tax and tip my meal cost over $50. It would be awesome if the place just had really good burgers and I don't understand why they don't. I'm not looking for five stars, just edible food. read more

This is now our third try at Grazers, and each time it gets progressively worse. Our hostess who greeted us was attentive and gracious, accommodating us to a booth that just went vacant, and everything went downhill from there. Re: the server staff, she made it a point to let us know this was her third day of working a double shift and made sure we understood her concerns, rather than focus in on her table. The prior two visits, the server staff was gracious, but hardly went out of their way to ensure we experienced something special here. On two out of the three occasions we visited, we waited at least 25 minutes for our meal, with our most recent visit, 40 minutes, despite the restaurant not overflowing in capacity. Only once during that period of time did our server make it a point to let us know they are short staffed. I had the "Grazer" burger, and although okay, it was bland, small in size, and the burger certainly does not justify its price. Just to provide some perspective, on our three visits, we spent an average of $35.00 for two burgers, and an ice tea, with a small upgrade in our fries. The fries were good, and have to rate them above average, however, nothing I can't get at some other local eateries who choose to cut their fries fresh. In paying for the bill, each server has an I- phone and what looks like a "square" paying mechanism, which is nice touch, however, as the server is standing over you, I have to decide on the proper gratuity on their I phone, which I think is an invasion of my privacy and decision making. One more item worth noting, for a relatively new restaurant, their rest rooms were far from clean. Overall, Grazers has been a major disappointment to us. This is a great location, right next to the theater, the concept is a solid one for this area, but to make this a successful venture, my take is to have your servers take a refresher course on Customer service, create a burger that is equivalent in size to the price, add some flavor to the burger, and by all means, provide an option where you as a guest can be afforded some privacy in deciding on the proper gratuity. read more
