Service - every time I've gone every has been very nice. No Complaints! Food - I've tried all of their sandwiches and thereis not one that I would not recommend. No I would not just because the price and I had fresher piece of salmon.

Never coming back. I was invited to have an easy dinner with my parents who are 79 and 94. I talked…read morethem out of The Hat to get Philly's Best since I had been eating there for decades. My mother raced down to the store since closes at 6pm on Saturdays. She made it with 15 minutes to spare. A couple of older ladies were sitting in a booth eating. Behind the counter was a female putting stuff away and a male scraping the grill. The male took her order and she ordered a cheesesteak, an italian, and a club sandwich along with some fries. Upon ordering the club sandwich the male behind the counter told her they were not serving any sliced meat sandwiches. She asked do you mean cold sandwiches and he replied yes. He then proceeded to make the cheesesteak and the italian but not the club. He never cooked any fries and they appeared in a metal to-go container. The two sandwiches he did make were ok but the fries were the nastiest fries I have ever tasted in my life. They were clearly old fries, not even reheated. You should be ashamed to serve a human being that garbage. Now on to why we will never be back. Your posted hours of operation are 10:30 to 6pm on Saturday. You should be open those hours, not putting stuff away and telling customers you cant make them food because you want to close up shop early. Furthermore the bs excuse you gave was clearly a lie as you made the Italian sub which has 3 different kinds of sliced meat and I have never once seen anyone slice meat on the spot to make a sandwich at Philly's. You had no problem making 2 more sandwiches for the gentleman that came in as our food was being bagged up so logic says the time she came in wasnt an issue. That was before your posted closing hours. I felt like crap because I talked them out of getting The Hat, your competition right down the street and then your service and your food SUCKED. As I said, we wont be back. I hope you closing up shop early was worth it.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Jersey Mike's on El Toro Road today…read more First, I specifically asked about the sandwich size and was told that the Giant was a 12-inch sandwich. After being charged for the Giant size, I later learned that Jersey Mike's markets the Giant as approximately 14-15 inches. The explanation I was given was misleading and influenced my purchase decision. Additionally, I was charged for extras that were either barely included or not included at all on my sandwich. The amount of meat and cheese was noticeably sparse, especially considering the price paid. The sandwich did not reflect the portion size or quality I expected. What made the experience even worse was the customer service. The employee at the front counter with dreadlocks was rude, dismissive, and seemed irritated by basic questions about the menu. As a customer, I expect to be treated with courtesy and respect, especially when asking about pricing and product options. Overall, I left feeling overcharged, misled, and disappointed. I hope management addresses both the customer service issues and the inconsistency in portioning so future customers have a better experience.
