I honestly thought he was joking at first, but he continued making comments--even saying I would "for sure get a cough in the morning"--and still questioned my order as if I wasn't allowed to buy halo-halo at all. His voice was loud enough that another customer started laughing. My mom, who is very kind and usually lets things go, even noticed how disrespectful he was. His comments were unnecessary, offensive, and completely uncalled for. If customers aren't supposed to order halo-halo in cold weather, then why sell it? I chose not to argue back because I didn't want to be disrespectful in front of my parents, and he was an older man. But "uncle," please change your attitude. There is no reason to shame customers for what they choose to order. This is the first time I've ever written a negative review.

The second time, we bought a case of coconuts with the pop-top style opening. Which was new for us. After refrigerating them, we tried one -- same issue. It had a stale, plastic-like taste. We opened another a few days later, and it was no different. We planned to return them, but got busy, and now they'll likely end up in the trash too. Fruits and vegetables have very competitive pricing compared to places like Trader Joe's and Whole Foods Market, which is rare. Usually you get either "interesting selection" or "good prices," not both. Jordan's on my regular rotation grocery run rotation now. If you're nearby and want European or Middle Eastern groceries without dealing with a run-down spots that smell like rotten meat - give it a try.

The ambiance was quiet, and the market was much smaller than I had expected. I felt a little awkward at times (as there were more vendors than patrons). What I like about this market is that parking is easy, the area feels safe, and it appears to be dog-friendly, as we saw a few dogs walking around. In terms of the actual selection, we got here in the morning when it opened, and there were maybe 3-4 vendors offering food options (coffee, asian buns, tamales), some baked goods (Croissants, sourdough bread), maybe 3-4 produce vendors (the typical OC produce vendors, pricing seemed similar), and the rest were crafts or specialty food vendor (e.g. granola, tea, pre-made dough). It took about five minutes to walk through the entire market, and nothing really stuck out to me. All in all, it's not a bad place to pick up some produce or stop by if you're in the area, but not a market I would go out of my way for (especially for fresh produce).

This was a really nice farmers market located in the beautiful city of Mission Viejo. It's part of a strip mall so there was plenty of easy-to-find parking. There was a performer there playing so great live music. I visited a couple of the booths there and got to try a BBQ pork bun, spam musubi, chili crunch, hummus, greek yogurt, and a croissant from Chaupain's Bakery. Everything was so delicious and it was even better knowing that these were handmade by real people! I ended up leaving with 4 containers of hummus and a loaf of sourdough. The farmers market itself is a bit more on the smaller side with maybe a total of 20 or less vendors. Overall it took about 30 minutes to get to all of the booths.
