Few months after initial call I called and again requested end service at apartment and home, and they ended service at home but I later found out not at the apartment. After my call in June 2024, I start to get two emails each month: one stating it was a new bill for the apartment and that the amount due is "0.00", the other saying the recurring payment is "Aborted" and "has been stopped" for the apartment account. In April 2025 I changed the automatic payment for my bill (for the new rental) and then realized that they were still billing me for the apartment I hadn't lived in for 9 months because I was now getting automated withdrawals from two checking accounts. I called City of Richmond and they said they had no record of me asking at my last two calls (which were documented) that I needed to cancel service at the apartment (which was one of main reasons I called them twice before). City of Richmond further ignored the fact that I've been getting monthly emails from them since July 2024 about the apartment account stating that 0.00 was being billed and that my auto payment was being aborted. They told me they would not reimburse me anything (blaming me for not canceling service even though called them twice to do so) and said to ask the apartment complex to see if they will cover the inappropriate billing statements since my lease ended (August 2024). This is an absurd request since this was City of Richmond's issue all along and an apartment company is not going to pay me for the erroneously charged utility bills. If you look at all the reviews posted it is clear I'm not along in being screwed by City of Richmond Utilities. Sucks there is nowhere to go for help and no other utility company to choose from. Probably why they are so bad as there is nothing the average consumer can do to challenge their horrible customer service.

Ms. Alexis was able to resolve all of the issues and make my day. She was amazingly patient, understood all issues, and fixed them all in one call. It did not take too long to reach her, under a minute. Thank you very much, Ms. Alexis. You are the best. Have a blessed day.

This place has been super nice to me while i've wandered through their shelves to help stock my kitchen. I like their selection of all kinds of restaurant-grade supplies. They also have some unique items in their "used" items. if you want some dirt cheap cheesey coffee mugs or those clear frosted salad places, this is the place to find them. It appears these are bought from restaurants that are closing and resold at a fraction of the original price. I've been there several times over the past 5 years, and everytime, they seem to recognize me - not necessarily by name, but they know i shop there. These kinds of family owned businesses serve as the model for other businesses in how they treat customers, even the once-in-a-while customer like me.

Smallwares and small equipment is what most of their inventory is and they really have a nice well rounded selection. The owner is good guy and his son works there too. both a nice and know what they talking about, without spouting off at the mouth and wasting my time. Not the largest selection of large equipment but they would order you whatever you needed. I didn't need any heavy equipment, but If I did I would go to see Mike at Atlantis. Gusti's is my first stop for smallwares, misc. items, etc.

They did a move out/back-in after water damage. Not only did I have huge amounts of damaged items…read morewhen it came back I also had 7 missing boxes. A friend of mine told me a neat trick because she lost so much in a move. As your boxes are packed number them yourself with what room they go in. Use a big black marker(yes, they all have their own systems for it but make your own). Hence I know 7 boxes were missing. My mother - a doll collector had 98% of her dolls damaged due to careless packing. They lost the foot off my grandfather clock and came and got another to try to "match it up". Now my clock only has two feet. I had receipts for the replacement of the things they had broken. After the floors were done so we could move back in they bought our stuff back and scratched the newly done floor from the front door almost to where the refrigerator sits dragging it across the floor. So back to the hotel and they had to move it all right back out. Still no reimbursement for that. The leak was in May of 2023. I don't recommend this company to move ANYTHING ANYWHERE. They were hired by ServPro. Don't use them either look for that review as well!

Very professional, didn't break or damage anything, not even a wall scuff. Handled an extremely heavy safe going into a difficult location with ease. I recently moved here about a month ago and so far it's been great!…read more Based off of the 1 bedroom I live in, I think these are very clean, and modern apartments. The utilities are all up to date and work great. There's a fitness room on site and it's really clean and always open. Only thing is I wish it had a few more attachments for some of the free weight machines. But the room comes equipped with treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, dumbbells and a few free weight machines. There's a roof top pool that's amazing during the summer so far. From what I was told by the building manager it is heated and open all year round. It's also very clean with lounge chairs and tables to relax on. So far management has been very accommodating to all of my needs, when I first moved in I needed some help with a couple things and the building manager was very friendly and helped me right away. They offer a parking garage or lot parking for an extra monthly fee, although I haven't had a need to opt in to that so far. Street parking is not bad at all. You can't beat the location here, it's located In a great upcoming area around loads of great breweries, restaurants, ice cream shops, a movie theater and even the diamond. You can see fireworks from the diamond via the rooftop pool. Management has installed quite hours for tenants and the building which is from 10 pm to 8 am. They also offer valet trash pick up meaning all you have to do is place your trash outside your door at night and it'll be taken By the morning. Also a no smoking policy inside the building which I find great, I hate cigarette smoke just as much as the next person. So far I've had a great experience here and would recommend living here. Some more pros: ALL utilities are included in the rent even including WiFi, and HD cable tv. Complimentary coffee by the front entrance. Some cons: One bad thing about my room is that my bedroom window looks out to a concrete wall. So I get no natural sunlight in my apartment, but I don't plan on being in my room a lot so I can live with it but someone else might hate it. Another is the stack of broken chairs by the pool, I think they should get fixed or throw out instead of just sitting there unused.
