Rooftop Chimney Sweeps did a fantastic job on my house, I could not recommend them more. They were excellent in every aspect you could look for in a home service company - punctual, communicative, very clean and considerate, great price, excellent quality of work and truly nice people. I needed a flue installed for a new water heater - my house is really old and my chimney had no flue liner or cap - and they went above and beyond explaining to me what my options were and what the consequences and benefits were of the different options, as well as giving me a quote for the different prices. Dylan came over to my house and spent a couple hours doing a super thorough job inspecting what I had and talking over the project with me, he made it easy to understand and make decisions about. The work was done by Sam, Omar and CJ - all of who were absolutely lovely and did an amazing job, everything looks so neat and professional. You can tell they are all proud of their work and value doing a perfect job. When the plumber came to install the hot water heater he even told me that it looked amazing - even though I used Rooftop Chimney Sweeps over the company that he had recommended. The price was extremely fair and transparent, I feel like I got a great deal for the quality of the work. I called on a Saturday to see if someone could come out to look at the chimney and by midday Wednesday the work was done. This entire process has been fantastic thus far. I had both called and tried to schedule online with the company that advertises on the radio all the time and has a catchy jingle with NO response. From the jump, Rooftop was amazing to deal with. I requested an appointment online which was responded to within 15 minutes or less. My appointment was a couple of weeks out, but I received an e-mail AND text confirmation as well as several reminders (which I think is great BTW). Omar showed up on time, was polite and jumped right in to the work with his partner. I was provided with clear photos of any issues and there was no BS of invented issues that seem to be so common these days. My initial call was for a cleaning that I ended up not needing at all so it cost me half of what I had intended to pay today - a very pleasant surprise. I'll provide an update once I hear back from the PM on corrective actions, but I fully anticipate needing to ask Yelp for bonus stars for this great company. read more

Never had to have a chimney cleaned before. However I have used several other home improvement contractors in the past. The house I purchased has 2 chimmnies and were sold as is so I was not even aware if they could be used. They came cleaned them so well the overall the natural odor of the house improved, and look cleaner than the day I purchased my home. They inspected them made some minor repairs and gave me and my family the knowledge and peace of mind so we could operate our fireplaces with safety. I cant stress enough about the No mess to clean up....the help to educate me on fireplace and chimney care...i am so impressed with their knowledge and level of customer care...and the incredible service created an exact experience for me to give a referral to family that resulted in exact experiences. read more

I live in Ginter Park And my house is over 100 years old. We have three fireplaces. When our sweep inspected each fireplace he determined the two of them had deteriorated to the point where they were unsafe to use. He went so far as to inspect the chimney at the roof level and determined that it needed to be removed. Our other fireplace was inspected and determined to be in serviceable condition. He recommended that we put a cap on it to keep it in good condition. We've had no trouble with that fireplace, and the two that are now decorations we are considering Converting to gas logs. We will call rooftop back for all of our fireplace maintenance needs. They have the expertise the training and the equipment to do a proper and thorough job. read more

My chimney leaks sometimes when it rains. Grant and Travis came out. Grant has been in the business for 7 years, and Travis is still training. On their way, I received a text with a photo of Grant, so I would know who to expect. I liked that. It added to security and professionalism. I have two fireplaces, so they measured and video'd each one. They wore booties and used drop cloths to keep the area clean. Grant went up on the roof to examine the exterior chimney and take pictures. They said I would receive an email later the same day and get an estimate for work needed. They were very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend them. read more

This is a wonderful company. I originally wrote a poor review (which I cannot delete) due to the company missing my scheduled chimney cleaning. As it turned out, my assigned tech left the company and my appointment was lost in the reassigning of customers to technicians. The boss personally contacted me, as did other associates, and they were all extremely apologetic. They have also compensated me for their mistake. I have used this company regularly to clean my chimney and will continue to do so. Their technicians are professional, polite, and very thorough. I highly recommend! Grant and his crew were great. Even though our house is kind of an active construction zone (and thus kind of a mess) they were very clean and systematic about covering the floors, furniture, wearing booties, etc. They were also very conscientious about our flight risk cats and checked before going into any room with a closed door. The report Grant sent on our chimneys was thorough and complete with pictures so we could see everything he was talking about (our house is historic with non-functioning fireplaces so their advice on structural integrity was really useful). All of the crew members were very friendly and thorough with the sweep and inspection of my chimney. They left no trace of soot or other debris, and made sure to use drop-cloths and booties during all interior activities. They also were very respectful about keeping my home clean and covered all of my furniture, carpet and wore booties. There was no dust or dirt anywhere when they left.
