Not only is Dr. Bougas a very skilled orthodontist, he is a very nice person. He is excellent with patients of all ages. This goes for all his staff, and his office manager, Terri, is exceptional in her communication & help with my understanding of what to expect from our dental insurance. My son's dental health and appearance have improved greatly. If you think you can't afford orthodontic treatment, Dr. Bougas won't rope you into something you can't afford and you can get consultations from other orthodontists if you like, but if you will trust me on this & I hope you do - I thought Dr. Bougas' work was reasonably priced. Amenities are Wi-Fi in the waiting room, a large fish tank, a little alcove area where the kids can watch some kids TV shows, many books and magazines. The waiting room is always nice and clean. We have never had to wait very long at all. The office is run in an efficient, but still friendly way. We never felt like we were just a number. Whenever a piece of my son's braces needed fixing, he was nearly always able to see my son on the same day or first thing the next morning. Past the waiting room, there is a sink area with disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, etc so you can get your mouth clean for your exam. I like that I am sent appointment reminders by email and by text & I can just text back "C" to Confirm appointments. Appointment reminders & school absence notes print out ultra fast, a lot like tickets, and you're on your way! If you go: You should know that there are stairs inside that lead up to the office, so if you have problems navigating stairs, you should let them know & you will be able to use another entrance. There are two ways to reach this office. One is from the same parking lot entrance as Snellville Animal Hospital on Main Street (Highway 78). The second way is on Wisteria Drive, between Burger King & the cemetery. There's a joke in that somewhere, but for once I will restrain myself.lol! One of the staff members took panoramic X-rays and photos. I was really surprised when the Dr said that my bite was very good and that I didn't need treatment. I was amazed that this orthodontist would not recommend braces and treatment and turn down the money that they could collect. The assistant said "we would never treat you unless you truly needed it" I am very impressed with the honesty and I will refer this office to others.

Dr. G agreed to extract…read moreall four of my wisdom teeth for which he said he was supposed to sedate me but when I got there he was totally unable to even get an IV into me properly so he just decided to do it anyway with absolutely NO SEDATION period. I had never had my teeth pulled before so I had no idea how horrid of a choice that was on his part. So he was only able to pull one of the teeth and then he got to the second bottom right wisdom tooth and couldn't pull it out normally at which point HE SHOULD HAVE ENDED THE PROCEDURE, but instead he decided to start cutting into my bottom right wisdom tooth while I'm still totally 100% awake and he is using nothing but local anesthesia, long story short it took him 3.5 hours to extract 2 wisdom teeth total! It took me multiple weeks and a ton of pain and PTSD related symptoms from being put through such a horrendous experience. The so called 'medical assistants' that he has working for him could not or would not pay attention and do their jobs well enough to keep all the blood from running down my throat and onto the front of my shirt, my husband was HORRIFIED when he saw the state I was in after they were done hacking at my mouth for 3.5 hours regardless of how many times I begged them to please stop yet he refused to do so. I am writing this review so that potential patients know the risk they will be taking if they choose to use this dental practice in any capacity. I can only speak to my personally terrifying experience and God only knows I WISH I were making this up bc it really should never have happened to me and I hope it never happens to anyone else.
