I called our orthodontist in Oklahoma to see if we could make an appointment for when we returned. Our orthodontist was going to be taking his vacation once we returned, so we would have to go see another orthodontist that would be covering while he is on vacation. His office staff suggested that we try to find a local orthodontist that might be able to see her while we are still in Decatur, so that she did not have to stay uncomfortable while on vacation. I called one office and it was going to be $150 to clip a wire. I called a second office and they were going to charge $360 to clip the wire. My best friend and her husband suggested that I call Decatur Orthodontics, so I did. Allyssa was my first interaction with the office. She was kind and super helpful. She was able to get us in right away. Our visit was less than 5 minutes once we arrived. The office staff was helpful, kind, and extremely efficient. The office was super clean and very organized. They were kind enough to take care of this for us as a complimentary service. If we lived in Decatur, this is where we would go! Thank you so much for taking care of my daughter and for being so kind to us! I would recommend this business 100%. Thank you for being kind human beings! Thank you for being a blessing to us! I had never had my teeth pulled before so I had no idea how horrid of a choice that was on his part. So he was only able to pull one of the teeth and then he got to the second bottom right wisdom tooth and couldn't pull it out normally at which point HE SHOULD HAVE ENDED THE PROCEDURE, but instead he decided to start cutting into my bottom right wisdom tooth while I'm still totally 100% awake and he is using nothing but local anesthesia, long story short it took him 3.5 hours to extract 2 wisdom teeth total! It took me multiple weeks and a ton of pain and PTSD related symptoms from being put through such a horrendous experience. The so called 'medical assistants' that he has working for him could not or would not pay attention and do their jobs well enough to keep all the blood from running down my throat and onto the front of my shirt, my husband was HORRIFIED when he saw the state I was in after they were done hacking at my mouth for 3.5 hours regardless of how many times I begged them to please stop yet he refused to do so. I am writing this review so that potential patients know the risk they will be taking if they choose to use this dental practice in any capacity.
