She had 4 other patients and I get it, it's lunch time. She acted like she wouldn't even give me the time of the day. She told me to still wear my aligners with inflamed gums. I told her that I was not satisfied with my bottom teeth and they have shifted. She just told the tech to scan me and walked away. She didn't give an actual fuck. Also, the tech that was working with me was very sweet. She asked Dr. Meagan 2 questions and Dr. Meagan didn't even answer her. While in front of me, the patient. Then when the tech was trying to explain why I was being seen today, she just interrupted her and moved on to the next thing. I have never in my life seen a provider be so unprofessional. I get it, she's busy and it was lunch time but do your job. You could tell she was only in this field to make money by seeing as many pts as possible in a certain time frame. I do not recommend this provider. However, the staff and the front desk ladies are amazing and sweet. I hope this review helps others not book with Dr. Meagan.

I called our orthodontist in Oklahoma to see if we could make an appointment for when we returned. Our orthodontist was going to be taking his vacation once we returned, so we would have to go see another orthodontist that would be covering while he is on vacation. His office staff suggested that we try to find a local orthodontist that might be able to see her while we are still in Decatur, so that she did not have to stay uncomfortable while on vacation. I called one office and it was going to be $150 to clip a wire. I called a second office and they were going to charge $360 to clip the wire. My best friend and her husband suggested that I call Decatur Orthodontics, so I did. Allyssa was my first interaction with the office. She was kind and super helpful. She was able to get us in right away. Our visit was less than 5 minutes once we arrived. The office staff was helpful, kind, and extremely efficient. The office was super clean and very organized. They were kind enough to take care of this for us as a complimentary service. If we lived in Decatur, this is where we would go! One of the staff members took panoramic X-rays and photos. I was really surprised when the Dr said that my bite was very good and that I didn't need treatment. I was amazed that this orthodontist would not recommend braces and treatment and turn down the money that they could collect. If I didn't listen to the signs and symptoms, the cost of the repairs would have gone too far and to the point where I would eventually start needing implants. During my ortho treatment, my jaw muscles stopped overcompensating and my face had slimmed to a V-shape. My teeth & jaw muscles began finding balance. Ortho saved my smile from a premature death. I know you're already imagining the confidence a straight smile will bring to your life. For me, working as a cosmetic dental hygienist.. EVERYONE looks at my smile. Does that make me a picky and high maintenance individual about my teeth? Absolutely. Am I 100% satisfied in the concluding aesthetics from my care? Ummm YES. We have been at this establishment had had to wait and hour, to an hour and 15 minutes to be seen. As a result, they should pay me $35 because they are late. Time is money and money is time. This place is not a GREAT PLACE TO HAVE YOUR SERVICES DONE. And to top it all off, they will say that braces are coming off in a month and then the month comes and they will say, maybe another month or two. They made the experience as comfortable as possible. I was given numbing shots in my gums and nitrous gas to sleep. I woke up a few times, said some really stupid things, and went back to sleep. I felt absolutely no pain, even when I was conscious. They provided me with plenty of painkillers afterwards and instructed me on how to take care of my mouth while healing. I just had a brand new retainer made by Dr. Lofters. It fits well. He taught me how to take care of it so it doesn't get scratched or stained. These people are the real deal!
