Adorable gem! My sister introduced me to this cute shop in Mahtomedi as we were actually heading to…read morethe neighboring shop, 350 Degrees Bakery. The Wild Bean Coffee shop shares a storefront and bathroom with 350 Degrees Bakery so I'd recommend hitting both up if you are in the area as a 2-for-1 adventure. The Wild Bean serves a small variety of breakfast and lunch items along with standard espresso drinks. Similar to many coffee shops, there are rotating seasonal specials. For my breakfast, I opted for the egg sandwich and added cheese, salsa, avocado and sausage. I picked sourdough as the bread. It was the perfect size and came toasted. My sister ordered a turkey panini and it was bigger than the breakfast sandwich and served with potato chips. Our service was extremely kind and considerate which aided to the interior charm. I adored the decorating, small gift shop towards the back, plants and exterior patio seating for warmer weather. For my drink, I ordered a hot chai tea latte and it was perfect. The storefront offers board games and complimentary water. I look forward to returning! Thank you!

Great little coffee shop with an equally good bakery attached. Service was friendly and our drinks…read morecame out quickly. Loved the plants and big bay window. I got one of the seasonal specials - the Almond Joy Latte and it was very good. Not too sweet and a good balance of flavors.

Had an issue with a delivery order. We paid for coffee and breakfast items and received nothing…read moredespite the Caribou app saying it was delivered. Called for assistance to resolve and was told it wasn't their problem. GM wouldn't let me complete a sentence. Just talked over me saying they are too busy, it's not their problem, and hung up on me. Very unprofessional. Poor leadership. It's clear they don't value their customers.

I love me some Caribou over any other coffee shop. But the White Bear Lake locations service has…read moredegraded over the years to a point it's better to drive a few miles to the Hwy 96 & 35E location. - There is a female manager/lead at this location with the worst attitude I have ever experienced from a barista anywhere. - The food take much longer to prepare than any other location or brand. - They consistently serve orders that were placed after yours. There is no apparent organization or order Managment. - Drinks and bags are not labeled causing everyone waiting to open and stick their nose and eyes inside of it is theirs. This is where the manager above really casts a negative shadow. If you attempt to ask who it's for or what's inside she will snap at you with a sharp response that is it the kitchens responsibility and of the people waiting to be listening. - In the end you will be lucky to re over your correct order. And when you attempt to ask for the correct drinks or food, this manager openly reprimand's the cashiers from across the shop. White Bear residents are very proud of what white Bear has but there is no need to continue supporting this location.
