My oldest son and I went for lunch. Not very crowded as we got there maybe 1:30 or 2. Tables did fill up but it wasn't very noisy. We found street parking and had maybe a 3-4 minute walk. Felt like an hour given the heat in Charlotte this summer lol. The staff was very friendly and also checked on us several times during our meal. Nice touch. You order and pay at the counter then find a seat. We were lucky in that there was seating available when we arrived but not when we left. We got water which is self serve on the counter. All pizzas are 12". We ordered a cheese pizza and a Tommy Boy pizza. My son and I were able to take both down between the two of us. The pizzas were fantastic. We especially liked the Tommy Boy. The cheese was great but we had eaten at Zeppedies the week before and theirs was definitely better. The crust is sourdough so it's different than a traditional pie. Highly recommend.
Great place. They are located in Camp North End so there is lots of parking. You order at the counter and they will call your name when your food is ready. We went during a weekday so it wasn't busy, they have about 5 tables so I can see on the weekend how this place may be crowded. I really enjoyed the creative pizza options, we ordered shroom city and really enjoyed it. I will be back to try their other pizzas!
Gravity Sourdough is a delicious local pizza spot in Camp Northend, which offers a lot of fun things to do before and after your meal here. There is a a galactic/space theme inside, which is pretty neat. There are a few tables and seats, but not a lot especially when it gets busy. The vibes were good, the service was good, and food came out quickly for freshly baked pizza in a big oven. We split the Garlic Crunch Cheesy Bread, Tommy Boy, and Da Bomb, which all came with sauces. The Garlic Crunch Cheesy Bread was so garlicky and cheesy! It was perfect on the thin piece of bread. We got the hot honey ranch to go with it, which definitely had hints of honey, but you can eat the bread without sauces. As for the Tommy Boy... it was an impeccable pizza! The basil, caramelized red onion, and ricotta really helped make the pizza taste even better. I liked Da Bomb, but it definitely had a kick from the Calabrian chili. The Tommy Boy was probably my favorite pizza out of the two. For the pizzas, we got the creamy garlic and Calabrian chili aioli, both of which were average. The pizzas were flavorful enough to eat without the sauces. I also like that the pizzas were cooked in a brick oven because the char at the bottom made the pizzas more scrumptious. Overall, this is a good pizza spot in Charlotte! The pizza options all sound good and the ones I tried were good. I would give this place a 4.5/5 stars if I could.

Gravity Sourdough Pizza Company is currently my #4 spot for pizza in Charlotte. They're super consistent when it comes to quality and flavor, which already puts them ahead of a lot of places. The vibe is chill, and the employees are genuinely cool--honestly the kind of people you'd grab a drink with after work. Anytime I'm over at Camp North End, I usually pre-order. It takes about 45 minutes to get your pizza (sometimes longer when it's busy), so ordering ahead is definitely the move.
Honestly, I'm a fan of this spot! I came back with some friends while attending an event next door and the smell just pulls you in. I mean the pizza just smells so good you can literally smell it just walking around outside in Camp North End. I HAD to get another taste lol. This go round I tried a different pizza and absolutely loved this option too! I don't recall the exact name but it has jalapenos and cojita. SO SO SO YUM! I literally ate this and just walked around Camp enjoying life. This is probably one of my other new fav pizza spots.
We stopped by a few times this evening to place and pick up two orders. The first was a half pepperoni/half cheese pie which cost $14 or $14.75, and the second was half shroom city with red sauce /half pepperoni which was around $18. The first pie with 2 sodas and an alcoholic spritzer was around $30. Water is free! Food is good ! Staff is delightful especially the cashier. The place has a cool, quirky vibe. Loved learning about the benefits of sourdough for digestion and blood pressure. Plenty of seating inside to eat and enjoy, or wait. They place old movies on old tv sets. Restrooms are connected-FYI- maybe not the cleanest but fully stocked and real toilets not the portable ones- which are the responsibility of Camp North End as a whole not the restaurant. I would absolutely return and recommend to future patrons.
So good! Truffle fries didn't stand a chance. Me and hubs gobbled those up in less than 5 minutes lol !!! Pizza was delicious and was big enough for two. Highly recommend.
I pre-ordered a pepperoni pizza--it was so good! It came with a dipping sauce so I went with the ranch (also excellent). I usually don't eat the crust on pizza but I didn't waste a bite of this crust! Parking can be annoying. Most of the closest parking is reserved for delivery pickup (15 minutes) so it can be a bit of a walk to the parking lot or parking deck.
Wonderful pizza unique ambiance He-Man on old TV which was bad ass ! Dipping sauces are not to be missed when ordering a pie. Excellent service here ! Loved our visit.
If you're at Camp North End, this sourdough pizza spot is an absolute must-try. The space is small with only about six indoor tables, but they also have a patio--and the best part is Camp North End has tons of unique seating areas, so you can easily take your pizza to go and find a cool place to sit if it's busy. We tried two pizzas and both were amazing. You can really taste the fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the sourdough crust is out of this world. I also love that they give you dipping sauce with your pizza because who doesn't want to try different sauces with their crust? You also have to order the Cosmic Fries. They're perfectly seasoned, topped with cheese and truffle oil, and come with your choice of dipping sauce. I highly recommend the creamy garlic--it was incredible. Their menu is growing too--they've recently added a couple new pizzas and have a fun selection of beer, soda, and even THC drinks. If you eat inside, the playlist is also awesome and adds to the vibe. Friendly staff, great food, and an awesome local business to support. Definitely worth checking out!
Camp North has the Day of the Dead celebration so I had to stop by.. And Gravity somehow seems to call my name.. Packed and crazy busy. They handle the whole thing very very well. Small place and casual. Typical pizza joint. But what I like about them is they have a limited menu. Maybe about 8 different type of pizzas offered. But they know they're good at it.. Cooked in a stone oven. It gave it a very nice crust.. We order the pepperoni just to be save. And I was starving so I didn't want to "experiment". I wasn't disappointed nor regretted it. Very cheesy. And crusty pepperoni. I still thinking about it a week later.
Amazing flavor and crisp crust with cup and char pepperoni pizza! The side of hot honey was amazing to dip the crust in. Super friendly staff. They serve alcohol, we got the pineapple cider and the Eviltwin NYC wheat beer. read more

I've had this place on my list of pizza places to try in CLT for a while now! Finally decided to meet up with a friend and get it while in the area. It was SO GOOD. Everything I was hoping for to be honest. The only reason I am deducting a star was because there was not a lot of seating (which is understandable considering it is in Camp North End so there is plenty of outdoor seating) but not good for when it is really hot out and you just want to sit inside! Also not very wheelchair accessible, everything was just very tight. However, we got the every day I'm brusselin' pizza and the Tommy boy pizza. I was very hesitant to get a pizza with Brussel sprouts, pistachios, bacon, and a balsamic glaze on it, BUT it was amazing. Such an odd, delicious combo of ingredients. And you can NEVER go wrong with a hot honey/pepperoni/ricotta pizza (the Tommy boy). I did enjoy the setup of ordering first at the counter and then sitting down and waiting for your pizza. However, the wait was pretty decent. Worth it though! read more

This is my go-to pizza spot in Charlotte. The sourdough crust is crisp yet fluffy and their ingredients are so fresh! Gravity is the best personal pizzas! The Tommy boy is my favorite! I have a picture of it with chicken and it was great but with pepperoni it's perfection. read more

Absolutely worth every penny! A cute small pizza joint that bursts with flavorful pizza! The pizza oven was amazing to see(didn't get a picture because they had a kitchen full of staff) One of the freshest pizzas I've had. The ambiance is nostalgic. Giving 80's vibe for sure! The fact that it's at Camp North End makes it convenient for parking and enjoying the space. read more
We had a really stellar experience at gravity. Firstly, I love me some pizza on sourdough. Secondly, their options are unique and delicious. Thirdly, they have an online ordering system that is a life saver when you're at CNE and it's super busy. We were at a bar next door, put our order in online, grabbed it when it was ready, and brought it back to the bar to eat. Also not to mention Brussel sprouts with balsamic glaze on a pizza is what dreams are made of. Gravity is an absolute must if you're eating at Camp North End! read more

All around great! Great service, cool vibe and really great pizza. I think the prices were also reasonable considering the size and toppings you get. As most mention, it's not a big menu but it's mighty! Full of flavor and texture! Might be our new favorite pizza spot. And with Camp North End growing, makes for a great place to be. read more
After reading the reviews that there were only 6 tables, I was worried I wasn't going to get a seat, but by the time we ordered at the counter and were ready to sit, a table opened up. The pizza was delicious, especially the Tommy Boy. Each pizza comes with a side of their special sauce and they serve free water, beer, and wine. A little expensive for 2 small pizzas at $40, but I will definitely be returning! read more
I came here for pizza while attending movie night Thursday at Camp Northend. I ordered around 7:50 pm through the app. The pizzas are 12 inches and they had multiple specialities. However, I just ordered a cheese pizza. Every pie comes with a sauce of your choice. I initially ordered the Calabrian chili aioli, then I thought ranch would probably go good with that. Then my cousin told me the hot honey ranch is really good! I decided to get all 3! They were playing the Notebook that night and it was packed! So it took longer than usual for the pizzas. I received a text an hour later stating my order was ready. When I got there I also ordered a bottled water which was $2. The cashier was pleasant. The restaurant had a very fun and cool theme. I enjoyed the mural/artwork on the walls (not pictured unfortunately). I enjoyed the pizza a lot and the sauces made it even better. I will be back! read more

Gravity Sourdough Pizza at Camp North End might've just become one of my favorite comfort food spots in Charlotte The sourdough crust had the perfect balance of crispy and chewy, with that slight tang that makes every bite addictive. Super fresh ingredients, cozy atmosphere, and honestly one of those pizzas you keep thinking about after leaving. Definitely a spot worth slowing down for on a weekend stroll around Camp North End. The wait did take a long time when you order in-person, so definitely would recommend ordering online beforehand if you know what you want! read more

Visited Charlotte and came to Gravity Pizza while visiting a nearby bookstore. Well there's not a lot of seating inside, there is a lot of seating outside simply given the area that it's in. They were pretty steadily busy while I was there and yet the food still came out in an incredibly reasonable time. We ordered the cosmic fries, a pepperoni pizza and the pretty fly pizza. Pretty Fly pizza was phenomenal. Tasted like elote with chicken. The pepperoni cups were nice and crispy. The pizza wasn't too saucy or floppy. The sourdough crust really made this pizza shine. The fries were also very unique and delicious. Very pillowy. $45 for two pizzas, two drinks and Fries is completely reasonable and worth it. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in Charlotte! read more

Lived up to the "sourdough" name sake! Great tang to the dough and good chew. Quality of the toppings is fair to the price point. I feel like the dough could handle a little more toppings. I did have higher expectations for this place. Sadly, my review is off of cold pizza. The workers lost our table's ticket. We waited about 45 minutes. We did not receive a text message or anything. We were also sitting at the front tables next to the condiments so we could hear our name/pizzas called out. In order to be recognized by staff, we had to go back in the standing line to ask about our pizzas. No offer to warm it up, so we ate cold pizza. The water dispenser was also out of water, and it seems like customers should be bussing their own table. I would love to try a fresh, though service really bummed me. read more

We had an amazing lunch at Gravity! The staff are very friendly, and the space is small but cute. We ordered the Tommy Boy pizza (ricotta, pepperoni, hot honey, basil) without red onions and an order of their fries... everything was exceptional! The 12in. pizza was a great size, and crust really is special--so soft and flavorful--plus they were generous with the toppings. I liked the shape of the fries also. They were like curved potato wedges and had lots of Parmesan cheese on top. And we got to choose a sauce with each order, so we went with red sauce for the pizza and hot honey ranch for the fries--both were great. We enjoyed sitting outside in the big open area of Camp North End, too--this is such a great add for the complex! read more

Gravity Pizza was delicious! The wait for our order took awhile, but they were going as quick as they could it was just very busy. So I'd recommend ordering online ahead (before 4pm because online ordering ends at that time) if you want to get Gravity on a Friday or Saturday night. But everything was fresh and delicious. Tommy Boy was definitely my favorite. Will be back! read more

We went to Gravity while in Charlotte at a conference. We absolutely loved the food and the menu. The restaurant is cozy, and service was great. The servers were friendly and answered questions about the menu. We really had a great experience and will be back. read more

First time here even though literally been trying to go since they opened. Did a pepperoni and mushroom pizza - dough was just right - hate when these oven places do too much crust and black burnt bubbled crust. Pepperoni is all the cup ones and the mushrooms were canned diced up, but I actually prefer that. If you LOVE garlic, get the cheesy garlic app bread - chunks of it cut up in every bite! Truffle giant fries that are more like potato wedges covered in shredded parm - AMAZING read more

The pizza dough was light and airy. The mixture of sweet honey, spicy chilies, and meat made the Tom pizza with ricotta mouth wateringly delicious. The atmosphere was fun, clean and welcoming. I truly enjoyed the pizza here at Gravity and will definitely be returning to Camp North End to enjoy it again and again. Truly satisfying! read more
