Dragonfly is a local treasure!…read more It's a flower farm, full florist, and flower stand. A friend inspired me to stop in recently, to buy some stems from their self-serve flower stand. If there's not a staff member around, it's an honor system: leave cash or pay by Venmo. My (quince, I think) stems were mostly buds and now they've been blooming beautifully for the past 2+ weeks, adding cheer to our space. Excited to see what stems they have when I visit next!

Dragonfly Floral is out-of-this-world amazing. My husband and I are both huge flower lovers, and as…read moresuch florals were high up on our list of wedding priorities. From our earliest conversations with Dora, we knew we were in good hands. She immediately understood the vision we had in mind and executed it beyond our expectations, from the colors, to the specific types of flowers, to a certain vibe that just felt so us. She was also so helpful in providing some visuals for us to reference, and it made decision-making a breeze. Seeing it all come together on our wedding day (florals on our ceremony gazebo, table arrangements, bud vases sprinkled around, my INSANE bridal bouquet + his gorgeous coordinating boutonnière, etc.) was like a dream. We marveled at the beauty of it all as we walked around the venue, and the same can be said for our guests who gave many compliments. We had several people say something to the effect of "WHO did your florals?!" The setup of it all was also so quick and seamless; we were able to just focus on preparing for the wedding while everything was put in place, which is a luxury we dearly appreciated. Dragonfly Floral is truly so amazing to work with and we highly, highly recommend their services. They are so receptive, responsive, efficient, and just downright good at what they do. Our wedding would not have been the same without them, and we're so grateful that something so important to us and our relationship was executed with such precision, passion, and beauty.

Everyone had such a wonderful time and you can tell that everyone working there is really attentive and has a lot of heart for what they do. Lots of flowers to pick from considering it was April and the rain had just stopped. Wasn't too expensive but on the higher side compared to the simplistic things you can do in Sonoma county. The value certainly was there!

When we arrived it looked like not much was in bloom, but our pitchers were soon stuffed with a variety of of cut flowers, decorative grasses and greens. We loved the experience of choosing each piece and making our own bouquets. What I learned was that other beds will be in bloom later as the season progresses. Actually, they had blooms into the fall last year! I can't wait for the dahlias in August and see what blooms in October! I went back today and it was fun to see what was still in bloom and what was new. There are so many different flowers and decorative grasses, etc. that you just don't see in stores. I also got a snapdragon start last time and it looks so good in our garden I got a few more. They have other starts too if you want some cut flower plants closer to home.

The sweetest people ever- there for us every step of the way. We wanted to hire a local flower farm for our wedding instead of going with a big name that charges a billion dollars only for them to grow non-native flowers. Katie and the other florists are amazingly talented and were completely on board with our slightly atypical wedding vision. Do yourself a favor and get your event flowers from these kind and dedicated people! -Charlie

From the very…read morebeginning, the team at Moonlight Blooms seemed just as excited about our wedding as we were, and they put so much love and care into creating floral arrangements that were perfect beyond our wildest dreams. We told them the colors and vibe we wanted and trusted them with the rest, and we are so glad we did. They designed the most jaw-droppingly gorgeous arrangements for us, and set them up at the venue perfectly. No one could stop talking about how stunning our flowers were. They even created a custom lapel arrangement for my partner that turned out SO COOL. We also love that they only use local and sustainable blooms. Not to mention how affordable and transparent their pricing is. We really cannot say enough good things about Moonlight Blooms, and we highly recommend trusting them to bring your wedding floral dreams to life.

I had an amazing morning visiting the lavender fields here. I had heard of them through Sonoma…read moreCounty Farm Trails and then followed them on social media for updates on their "high bloom" lavender season. Following their posts is a good way, in addition to the website to get details on ticketed entry, status of the fields and other openings they might have through the year. It's how I found out they'd have an extra opened day on Monday July 3rd. I took the day off and was able to enjoy the fields, crowd free. They do limit the number of visitors and set a 75 timed entry window. You do a complete loop around the fields, but not walk through the rows or have any u-pick opportunities. The location up on a hillside with sweeping views guarantees you a gorgeous shot no matter where you're standing. The folks checking visitors in and running the farm stand were very nice and welcoming. I purchased some lavender honey and lavender scrub from their on-site store. I sampled their lavender essential oil as well-something they are very proud of! It was wonderful. A short tour is offered as part of your admission but I opted out. I didn't think I'd spend the entire time window here but did! Very peaceful and beautiful place. You can also bring a picnic lunch and they have some tables over by a small pond. Just an all around fantastic lavender experience.
