We had our wedding at Monte Rio Community Center in June 2019. It was the perfect place for us to…read moreget married. We chose to rent out The Meadow space near the river to have an outdoor ceremony and had an indoor reception. First off, MRCC is good for those on a budget. The hall has big glass doors that can open out onto the outdoor area, giving the room a more spacious feel. We had around 70 guests and we could have fit many more. We loved the tall ceiling and wooden beams. The kitchen area was also spacious and manageable. I very much appreciate how much flexibility the center provided us. It helped give us freedom for creativity. Many other spaces we researched allowed only beer and wine, and made you choose from a limited selection of caterers (many, if not all, were outside of our budget). We could choose any caterer we wanted, and provided our own alcohol. Jean was a treat to work with. She was funny, kind, communicative, reliable, and prompt. Whenever I had a question she responded within a few days. She met us numerous times at the center and answered all the questions I had (many times I asked the same one twice, thank you for your patience). She was very warm and made the planning process more enjoyable. As for the meth head from the previous review (from 2013) I did not run into him. I don't think he lives there anymore. I did not have any problems with non-guests. Thank you for helping us have the wedding we've always wanted!

I was SO close to having my wedding here…read more It is beautiful! Redwoods behind the ceremony site, vines growing over the reception area, a serene pond greets your guests. The couple that own this event site are very warm and personable. They want to understand your vision of your wedding and make that come to fruition for you. They, along with their team, do the catering and offer a wide selection of buffets and or plated meals. No outside vendors, although you may bring in your own hors d'ouvres and cake. The venue is totally outside. As a result they do not operate during the rainy seasons. They have a large parking area and a shuttle to take your guests to and from the ceremony/reception area. The prices are a true bargain for what you get. Because I didn't actually have my wedding here, I cant tell you about the food or the smoothness of the events. My husband and I did tour the facilities and were very impressed. It really was a close second.

We loved Warren Woods!!! P.S. If you need a photographer, "Jessica Carpenter" was amazing!

We visited this lovely restaurant/hotel for dinner on a cold Sunday night in November…read more They have a lot of weddings, as it had a large hall with bright lights and folding chairs/tables. Not inviting so we sat at a high boy in the darkened bar, which was much nicer. I'm sure it's beautiful to sit on the balcony in the summer on warm nights. We chatted with the German owner who was doubling as a bartender, who was very nice. We loved the German influences in the bar, as we had just been to Oktoberfest in Munich. The owner's daughter Sarah runs the kitchen. My husband had a pork tenderloin schnitzel "Vienna style" ($20) and I had a jaegerschnizel with mushroom gravy ($20) and both were excellent. We split the potato pancakes (two with sour cream and apple sauce, $12) which were served crispy but tasty. They had a nice German beer and wine list. We finished with a delicious apple strudel to complete a lovely meal. I recommend this restaurant for tasty dinners in a unique venue.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and while we knew there would be a breakfast, we had no idea it would be so extensive and wonderful. I will look forward to staying here again in the future!

This hidden gem winery is tucked away in the beautiful Dry Creek Valley. It is absolutely gorgeous and provides an intimate and elevated experience that is definitely worth experiencing! If you are looking for an elevated experience in wine country, look no further! There is a garden area that overlooks the vineyards that we enjoyed during our food and wine pairing and the views were spectacular. They also have a cave as well as a RTV experience if you are looking for a unique private experience away from it all. The service at this winery is excellent! Some of the tastings are with Mary Roy herself and these experiences are extra special since she is the owner, chef, and winemaker. She is an incredible woman that excels at everything she does. Thankfully for me, that includes exceptional wine and food pairings! The food is flavorful and phenomenal and they even have bees onsite where the honey is used to make their amazing chocolates! You are in for a real treat with the food and wine pairings here! Highly recommend visiting Capo Creek Winery if you are in the Healdsburg area!
