This place has great events. Check out the website. A lot of interesting music and lectures.

We were very excited to each have our own rooms with attached bathrooms, and felt like QUEENS... I personally was in Room #6 upstairs with a cute little balcony. The bed was so luxurious and ridiculously comfortable that it made it really hard to get out of bed and face the day (side note: they are clearly brand-new beds and incorrectly spoken about on that negative review, so take that one with a grain of salt, SMH); Some had deep jetted tubs, some had ADA walk-in showers, something to accommodate everyone's needs! Each bathroom even had extra amenities you wouldn't expect like make-up remover and cotton balls - such a nice touch! One thing I was worried about was the traffic noise at night, but it was not an issue at all, which just shows that the insulation renovations that were completed really were impeccable and every last comfort was thought of for their guests. Access to the kitchen and laundry facilities was also a huge plus as well for last minute weather needs! I highly recommend this gem in Sonoma County when you book your next wine country adventure! =)

This place is, by far, the most uncomfortable stay at any place, ever. History be damned. We were in a room RIGHT next to a main road that provided road and car noise all night long. It was LOUD. For myself, I experienced the worst two nights of 'sleep' that I can remember because of the noise and a mattress that should have been discarded YEARS ago. The gas fireplace didn't work. Zero instructions on how to get it lit. YouTubed how to get it lit, still didn't work. The condiment on this shit sandwich of a stay was the veranda outside our room having a security camera pointed directly toward the outside furniture where you'd sit. Zero chance of having ANY privacy. Its creepy and total bullshit. We can tell the place is owned by people that could not care less about the comfort of the guests, you're just income for them. Who puts cameras in private areas? We couldn't have disliked the place any more than we did. The place is a joke. It sure made a rough stay in Santa Rosa.

Yes, it's lovely to visit the postcard-perfect wineries surrounded by real live vines, but when a trip to the country isn't realistic, you can pay a visit to Vintner's Square and taste the same heavenly juice from multiple wineries in an ultra-casual setting. Luckily, my best friend lives down the street so we don't even need a designated driver. Perks! MJ Lords, Sheldon, and Krutz share a nice space with full barrels lining the walls, while D'Argenzio has their own tasting room (and cafe?) next door. It's not uncommon for the winemaker to be hanging around, and it's amazing how much you can learn while drinking with the boss! The coolest part is knowing these are small production wines, typically less than 100 cases each. So if you fall in love with a certain bottle, you can take it home knowing it's truly a work of hand-man art. Luscious, liquid craftsmanship at it's best. How can you say no to that? On Thursday nights the complex transforms into a miniature block party with "happy hour" specials, live music, and a taco truck. Mark your calendar!
