I was honestly shocked that it was so empty on a Sunday afternoon because this spot deserves to be packed. It's the perfect place to enjoy a drink, hang out, and grab some really delicious food. The nachos were SO GOOD--we nearly polished off the entire plate without even trying. The Philly cheesesteak sandwich and the potato soup were both incredibly comforting, flavorful, and exactly what we were craving. One of the sweetest touches was when we asked the owner if she had any cards, and she actually loaned us a deck of UNO to play while we hung out. Viking Brewery recently closed their south location so we stopped in to visit their main/west…read morelocation. It's a beautiful oasis in the midst of a bunch of industrial warehouse buildings. They brew their beer here and also have an indoor bar with seating and a food truck outside on the patio. The patio, though, is may favorite spot at this place. It's long and narrow with plenty of seating, shade, and live greenery! There's a stage on one end and they host live music on certain evenings during the summer. You order food and drinks at the bar and pick up the food at the truck. The bartender was friendly and helpful. Fantastic place to bring friends for a low-key hang and dine out.
