They have everything I need and want! Great location for me and lots of room for displaying products. The sale items were marked fairly down, enough to make up your mind. Items are good quality in paint medium. read more

The amount of art supplies in here is crazy. Having only gone into Micheal's, this is a big difference. I came in here looking for Liquitex pouring medium as all other art stores are sold out! The man behind the register said that dirty pours are very popular and he doubted he had any. But that was fine as I did need other supplies. Soft body paint and high flow ink. I ended up wandering in this store. Which is good because I was looking into buying a sketch pad and some nice pencils. Even if you're just browsing, this store has a nice atmosphere to get lost in. read more

Staff were great help and there is a wonderful selection of quality materials. Also the prices are competitive.

The store had a wide variety of supplies but I felt certain things were over priced and the three star rating is because the two guys at the counter sat there the whole time and didn't ask me once if I needed any help, they seemed uninterested in making a sale or being of any help. read more

Poor customer service - There's a difference between helping and preventing - for example if I need a product it great this kid help me try to find it but it was really felt like he just confronting my needs - instead of asking questions on why I need product I needed - like clove oil he could ask why I need it - he did not do not - point is he there helping me or preventing something else ? Not good then I needed canvas that is without texture such as wood - again same plus it was over priced not much I would of gladly pay extra to keep small local businesses to grow but I choice to walk out never will I go into that store - I will get all my supplies else if it means to drive extra hour to get it - to be fair it only this one person in this store read more

I love the new location! New, fully stocked store, great service, and great artwork for sale now too! If they don't have what you need, they will order it for you very quickly. There's plenty of parking and a great sale going on right now too. Also they are having an exciting spay painting competition next month. Not to mention a watercolor seminar! WHOOPIE! read more

Graphaids - Great new location! - Art Supplies Near Me - Agoura Hills, California

Sooooo reasonable. Face it, supplies ain't cheap, but Graphaids helps you accomplish what you need to for a VERY FAIR price! I am taking classes at Shishkin Art Studio and they recommended Graphaids...I had looked around for a 60x48 frame, Pretty Big, and I got it here for $53.00!!!! Regular price close to $200. They were helpful, freindly, and had a great selection of all that I was looking for...from brushes to pallet knives to a wide selection of paint brands. I am going back there today to buy more paint and I actually look forward to going! They just moved so make sure you have new address on Canwood... read more

I always support local businesses, and having a high quality art store near me is invaluable. The staff are always helpful and if they don't have something they will get it for you as fast as shipping will allow. They get items that the local artist commonly use in bulk and offer them at great discounts. To me they are a true gem. read more

Jerry the owner and his staff are some of the nicest people really! I am an art teacher and I order my students' supplies here! They will walk with you to help you find everything you need and if they don't have it they will order it and have it within days! Customer service at its BEST! read more

It was great! My mom and I went there and I felt like I was in heaven. They were very nice there aswell! I also saw they had Posca markers there which is amazing! I loved it very much! read more

Real art stores are becoming a thing of the past as online stores have taken over. Graphaids have beaten the odds and offer students, professionals, hobbyists, and more, the best selection of art supplies. They have high quality paints, brushes and offer drafting supplies as well. I have been in the store several times and the staff are always helpful and knowledgeable. If they don't have what you seek, they will order it for you. I am so glad they are local. Highly recommend! read more

Art supply wonderland. Wonderful, helpful, caring owner and staff. It is wonderful being able to get everything I need without having to drive to LA. read more

Great charm and allure brought and kept me at this store; The owner was very helpful and had some great ideas; will definitely be back

This is an extraordinary store that carries a wide variety of supplies in almost every medium. I don't understand the dissing of the staff. I've always found them friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. What they don't do is hang over you pressing you to buy something. Graphaids gives educational discounts and sends fliers to your email from time to time for special discounts. And they're a REAL artist's resource. Not like Michael's or Joanne's that's meant to serve general crafting. Love them. read more

Graphaids is the best mart for art! Whether you are (or aspire to be) the world-renowned Van Gough, Tenoir, Picasso, or Monet, Graphaids is the finest art gathering gallery to make your artistic visions come true to life on canvass, or any other creative material that you can dream. Excellent quality art products, reasonable price, great customer service (Corey is fantastic and so knowledgeable). Had a fun time & can hardly wait to get back to my studio to start my next project creation! Thanks Graphaids! read more

I love this store. I try to support independent businesses anyway but their selection is great so I come here instead of going to Michael's. They offer a 30% student discount too (inquire within). I try to not go in there with any bags or leave my purse open because art stores have big theft issues and I don't want them to have to worry about me (something for us all to consider). Everyone is very helpful/knowledgeable and will walk you to hard to find supplies. read more

Amazing professional art supply store. Huge selection of top of the line materials. On the rare occasions that they don't have what you want, they'll order it and have it in a day or two. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are competitive - even without the 30% off "no questions asked" student discount. I was curiously eyeing a squirrel bristled watercolor brush, and the owner Jerry let me try it out and demonstrated its utility. Even though I was a little short of the purchase price, Jerry sold it to me. It was totally worth the money, epic quality. Thanks so much Jerry! You're awesome. Any artists that live close to this store are extremely fortunate. I've never been to higher quality art supply store. I'd give it six stars if I could. Love this place. Loyal customer for life. read more

Love the new location! The store has a more intimate feel to it! Can always find what I'm looking for and the staff is always helpful and friendly! Great art store for the beginner to an expert artist! read more

Graphaids is the hands down the best art store in the area. The staff is very knowledgable and friendly. They have most anything you could want on hand and if they don't they will get it for you very quickly. I highly recommend Graphaids for all professional artists and students alike. read more

Everyone working here is great. Love coming here and buying things for projects and getting ideas for other projects.

Wasn't sure what kind of store this was. It was recommended to me for the kinds of supplies I needed. They had everything I wanted and then some. Prices were decent too. Spent way too much but I'm satisfied with all the goodies I bought. Great place to get your art supplies and the staff is knowledgeable and can accurately help you with your specific needs or be able to make suggestions because they have art backgrounds. read more

I find their prices surprisingly lower than other places and the service is always very pleasant and knowledgeable. The place is clean, well organized and easy to get to off the freeway. My impression is they are a bit off the beaten path and not a flashy store front, but they pass the savings on. With supplies that to me is very smart. read more

I got some pretty sweet drawing supplies at this place today. The people here are helpful and considerate. The prices are very fair. The selection is bountiful. It's a pleasant environment and a really relaxed browsing atmosphere. I feel more inspired to do art now, for whatever that is worth. Thanks. read more

Fantastic art supplies store. They have the lowest prices than everyone one else in the area, including the so called bigger art and crafts store in the area. Staff were really helpful and as stated the store is off the beaten track but in the end, so worth it. Its the only store i head to, when i need art supplies now. read more

Worth a trip out to the art store, great selection and great staff. They had exactly what we were looking for.

Graphaids is an amazing art store with many great supplies for many different artists. This place beats Arron brothers, Michaels, make them look like a joke. This place is dedicated to have anything you need for you art projects and they as well give students discounts on there purchases, which is a big plus for me since I'm a student. Something that also makes this place amazing is there staff, they have amazing staff, they are friendly, if you need help with something, they will take the time to find what your looking for. Even though I don't live near Graphaids, it's worth the 30 min drive. read more

Great art supplies and graphics supplies! Although this is the only art store around, we are lucky to have it so close. If they don't stock it they will special order supplies as well. Nice and helpful people make this a go-to for all things for the fine and graphic artist. read more

Hours aren't listed on Yelp, walked in was told they are closing do I need help finding anything, I have 2 minutes. Turned around walked out. First and last time. I usually order online (not from here) but needed a last minute gift. Will be sticking to online orders from now on. read more

Graphaids in Agoura Hills has an awesome staff, great service and good, varied quality art materials in stock. As a college instructor, we contacted their store to arrange art kits for my students. The Graphaids staff was professional, prompt, easy to work with and gave us excellent prices for materials we needed. read more

Great store! Staff is awesome and very knowledgeable and they help you to find what you need. Great art for sale too. I use differnet mediums for my art projects and Graphaid is the shop for me. read more

I have been buying my art design materials here for the last 5 months. They have a great selection, knowledgeable stuff always willing to guide you and provide excellent service. Very satisfied. read more

Although I do miss their old, larger store, I find that as a professional artist, perpetual art student, and art teacher, not only do they have a great selection of quality art supplies, but they employ an extremely knowledgeable staff in every department. (Unlike a popular national chain, which shall go unnamed.) I do admit to purchasing some supplies online, especially when I need large quantities of things, but there is no replacement for the personal service they provide at Graphaids. And if they don't carry something, they will have a perfect substitute or order it for you. You know you are in the right place when you can lean against the counter and discuss pluses and minuses of brushes or the differing properties of paper. I always prefer to support brick and mortar stores, not only for the service but also in principle, and it is wonderful to have such a quality art store practically in my back yard. read more

This is a family operated art supply store with exceptional service. There are also over 100 pieces of art from local artists on display and available for purchase. Jerry is the owner and is extremely friendly and helpful!! The prices are so much lower than any other place I've been. I can't sat enough positive words to express the compassion and understanding that the store provides for artists at all levels. read more

Wow! The woman who worked here was super nice and helpful when my son and I popped in to get drawing supplies. Great store, great vibe!

I bought a fountain pen from Graphaids. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful in that transaction. Later, the pen stopped working due to a manufacturer's defect-- not anything the store did wrong. I tried to resolve the issue through the manufacturer and was disappointed by their response. I asked the store to help, even though I did not feel it was their obligation to do so. They said they would look into it. A few days later, I get a call saying they got me a new pen. I told the man who I believe was the owner that I didn't expect them to do so much for me so quickly. He said it's just what they do for their customers. That kind of really, really great customer service is increasingly rare these days, and it will definitely keep me coming back to Graphaids. read more

I spoke with Jerry the owner of Graphaids today regarding why their ADVERTISED prices for EVERYTHING, is 20-50% less than their actual prices. After he saw that I was not swayed by his belligerence, F-bombs, etc., he said he'd lower his prices by "giving me a great deal". He also claimed he had no knowledge of what the online Graphaids prices (at a store with the same name and same address) were. This place is a lousy place to buy art supplies. Do not support it. They bait and switch, and the owner lies. And if you doubt this, simply go online, look at their prices, and then go in his store. Absurb. Its like the bait and switch 60's all over again. read more

Very nice art store. Selection of art markers, paints and media kept a couple of pre-teen aspiring artists enthralled for an hour. Had their favorite brands and the colors they had been seeking. Staff was friendly, courteous and answered all their questions. read more
