Great customer service! I'm very happy with my decision to get a vehicle from Grapevine Ford.

DON'T GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. They messed up HARD. We paid cash for the mustang GT. Left the dealership and they call me saying they need me to come back because some paperwork went wrong. So I come back, they tell me I need to give them $750 because of a rebate that wasn't suppose to be there. They forgot to take off a rebate and told me I need to pay them $750. Straight up said no and return the car. Never seen such BS happen. They messed up, own up to it. DON'T TELL THE CUSTOMER TO GIVE THEM MONEY FOR THEIR MESS UP. read more

This is how car buying should be. If you have a great price just give it to the customer without unwanted haggling and then leave it to the car buyer with the final call. To start with I did experience some hiccups with the car price that was given to me, which kind of let me high and dry. But later on I was contacted by a gentleman names Ali Benli, he gave me a price I simply could not refuse!! I am extremely satisfied working with Ali. He not only beat TrueCar price on a 2016 Ford Explorer but also gave me an additional couple of 100$ for the trade-in value for my 2009 RX350. Coming to the dealership, I visited several Ford dealers in the DFW area and by far this location is the nicest and cleanest Ford showroom you will find in metroplex. They are located almost 35 miles from my home, but I do regret doing the long trip to get a great deal !!! read more

Was inquiring on a pre owned vehicle on 2-1-2018 at 4:50 P.M. and spoke to Kevin. One of the rudest sales people I have spoken with in a long time. Asked for a car fax report and he stated he could text me pictures of the vehicle. Smh. Hung up and called back and spoke to his Mngr which was not helpful at all. Total of 5 minutes and not impressed with either party. Sales tip guys, listen to your customers and you might same a vehicle. read more

Car dealerships certainly have their ups and downs and usually I'm skeptical that there will be very many of the ups when I visit one. I usually expect skeezy sales people and to be screwed over. I definitely didn't feel that way this time. We did our research and got a fair deal and we were treated really well. They also have a full cafe in the lounge which I thought was pretty cool. Not just stale donuts and sludgy coffee. They have sandwiches, drinks, coffee, etc... and an actual person working in the cafe to help. You always have to wait at dealerships so it was awesome to be able to wait in comfort and not starve to death like I usually do. read more

The fact u have an appointment set and expect ur vehicle be in the shop within the hour but they say it's in line there's few cars ahead why did I even make an appointment if I drop it off at 9:30 and u say it be inside the shop around 1:30 are u kidding me and then they tell me for my airbag recall that it could be up to 150 in a diagnosis few in case it's not the inflator on the airbag so if it's anything but that I have to pay are u kidding me I should of known with this place only having 2.5 stars to being with read more

We had a great experience with both Chase Prater and Tyler Potter. Tyler was patient with us through our buying experience. This is my husbands and I first vehicle purchase and Tyler answered all of our questions and through text, which was super convenient. He didn't blow up our phone or hassle us to make a quick purchase. We did all of the necessary due diligence and we researched cars for weeks online. Grapevine Ford had the best deal we could find for a new 2018 Ford Explorer Sport. Within the same week we went back to Tyler and purchased our first vehicle. The credit/finance was fairly easy but it did take about an hour. Once the vehicle was officially ours Tyler spent a good hour just showing us all the components and how it worked. We really appreciate this dealership and we would buy another car here. read more

Had a wonderful experience financing a new used car! Was greeted within minutes of looking around and Ty helped us out getting a test drive and a price right for us! Much better buying experience than I've had before at dealerships! Thanks Ty and Grapevine Ford for all of your help!! :) read more

Just wanted to say what a great experience I had with Mikey Stubbs. Called him this morning about a vehicle this morning. The man took care of everything I needed. Had came in for a test drive. He sent me a message that the paperwork was ready. Was in and out of finance in 30 minutes. If you know what your want and need a guy to make it happen. Mikey is that guy. Was working with over a half dozen guys. Mikey is the first one in months to follow through on commitments. Great Job Mikey and Grapevine Ford! read more

Wish i could give 0 stars. Total bait and switch!! Jason MCBEE is the biggest crook I ever met!! Lure you in with a car that isn't even in their inventory!! All these reviews don't surprise me! This dealership manages to stay open because of their location only. The sales department is unprofessional/unorganized and will waste your time and the service department is even more incompetent! We bought 2 new Fords last year and had to purchase elsewhere after getting so frustrated with Grapevine...even though we live right here. And these Trucks & SUV's are not cheap! Go anywhere else...we have given them so many chances and continue getting disappointed so we will try 5 star now. read more

I called to get the price on a vehicle and after some questions they gave me a price and I set an appointment. When I got to the dealership, Chris Aylesworth(the salesman who titled himself as internet sales manager in his appointment confirmation email) was not there yet so they sent me to another gentleman that told me that he is the internet sales manager(I didn't catch his name but he was a very large Hispanic gentleman that sat just to the left of the receptionist). I sat down and gave him the stock number to the vehicle I wanted to buy but I had to repeat myself twice because he called a sales associate as soon as I sat down and was verbally disciplining him and telling him that he was missing a customer because he wasn't there. That was not the least professional thing the "internet sales manager" did. He then treated me like I didn't understand numbers and was telling me that Ford doesn't do 0% interest. I explained that the dealership that I was at yesterday had a huge sign that read "0% financing". At this point I was beyond trying to do business here to save a little money so I said thanks and I stood up to leave. To top it off, he clicks through his monitor and says,"oh you were right, this vehicle does have 0% financing." I told him The other dealership I was talking to was straight forward so I would just go back there. read more

Shuttle driver (50ish, female) extremely combative reflects very poorly on the dealership.

If you call the main number and ask for the Service Department you get transferred to a call center. You are asked to press 1 for Ford and 2 for Lincoln. Then the first question they ask is "are you calling for Ford or Lincoln". I called two days ago and they never called me back. I just tried again and they took my name and number and said they would have someone call me back because no one was answering the phone at the dealership. read more

I should have paid attention to the low YELP rating before wasting my time here. If you are trading in a vehicle BE SURE to do your homework first. Edmunds.com, NADAguides.com which will provide an accurate assessment of what your car is worth. Unless your trade in is in ROUGH condition their trade in offer may be a low-ball offer. Also, verify the car you are interested in is there before driving over. The first car I was interested in had sold over a week ago and their website wasn't updated. The second had been sent off to auction earlier in the week and they couldn't get it back until Monday.......the drive was a COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME. You'll get an automated email from their GM, Chaz Gilmore but he never responded to the emails I sent. Very disappointed for a Berkshire Hathaway Auto dealership. Going forward, I will seek out dealers with a better YELP reputation, read more

We will not be back. We ended up purchasing the new car after we had been there all day, but it was a nightmare. They are dishonest and the Kanu tracking addition will be added on at the end. They aren't transparent about anything. The new car sales manager was rude and confrontational as well. I honestly wish we would have gone through with leaving when the first "confusion" over a price happened and bough the car somewhere else. Worst buying experience ever. Oh and by the way even if you pay cash they demand to run your credit and say it's mandatory. So your credit takes a hit. Someone needs to look in to this place. We will never recommend this place to anyone. read more

Wasted over an our of my time to hear a load of BS. Went in to test drive a used 2018 blue mustang GT. Right off the bat I was ignored, the man greeted my boyfriend assuming the car was for him and sat us at a table. After being passed to 3 different people we were put with Tristan. He gets a copy of my license and goes out to pull up the car. We wait about 30-45 minutes, he comes back and says he has the car pulled up. We walk out and it's a white one that had just come in, Tristan goes on to tell us we can't test the blue one but didn't give us a reason. We take it out for a spin and the second I put it in drive the car jolts forward, I take the car on the highway and as I'm braking the car is downshifting very aggressively even though I wasn't using paddle shifters to down shift, seems like transmission issues. After returning my boyfriend asked why we couldn't test drive the blue one and he said the manager wouldn't allow us to "because the car is 42k" even tho it's listed online for 36k. Implying we didn't have the means to afford the car. We go back to his desk and we ask him to run numbers for the car we had originally gone there for. He leaves for a minute and comes back saying the manager will not allow him to run the numbers at this time and asked when we could come back with our parents. Extremely embarrassing and horrible experience, I could tell Tristan was just as uncomfortable as we were. My boyfriend was able to test drive a new 80k corvette at Chevy but I couldn't test drive a used 36k mustang at ford? Tristan was great but all I was told was a load of bs. You would think arriving in a c7 corvette would imply that you have the means, maybe I need to arrive in a Lamborghini read more

So would someone PLEASE explain to me how a Ford dealership can print a switchblade key fob for an import in under an hour? These people are in the business of taking advantage of people. Bought a car here 4 months ago and have had nothing but problems and now I'm stuck in debt to a hunk of metal. I have brought the thing back 4 times in the last 5 months. The customer service on the service side is amazing, but the actual service isn't. Instead of getting to the root of what is wrong with the car, they do small things to get the engine light off. I don't have time to keep coming up to the dealership. This is the whole reason I bought a new car... to have the great feeling of a reliable vehicle. This is the furthest car from reliable and instead of the dealership trying to make it right they are trying to con me into doing a trade in and I'm sure again paying way over market and loosing money on my original purchase. I wouldn't do business with this dealership again if they had the last working cars on the market. Shady business practice. And of corse the weasel of a salesman who sold me a car, Stuart, is no longer on staff. I have called numerous times and left countless voicemails for upper management. Maybe this review will get their attention. read more

Complete garbage! First their communication is terrible no one seems to ever know what is going on from the managers down to the sales people. We went in and dealt with a car sales guy and his manager. We test drove a car and decided to come black because they didn't have the exact car we were looking for. We filled out a customer contact form and no one contacted us for a few days. Out of no where 2 other guys called me and neither knew anything about the other guys we dealt with. They claimed it was another dealership. We went into the dealership a week later after the first time we came. Right after we walked in the door we saw the first salesmen from the week before and he was already with someone. One of the new guys that had contacted us introduced himself we told him about dealing with the other guy and he said some bogus excuse like it didn't matter as long as we got taken care of. After all this confusion. They didn't have the car they promised was there! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING. What a waste of time an hour later. Surprising settling on a price was the easiest thing. Next came the financing. My wife and I have excellent credit. They went back and forth with a high rate that was ridiculous. Here comes the kicker. They said they wouldn't be able to tell us a definite rate until they pulled our credit. We told them NO. What do you think they did. THEY PULLED IT!!!! But we didn't find out until the next day after we left from an alert through Lifelock. Un-believable! They had our rate and tried to screw us. These people are the definition of sleazy car salesmen. Grapevine Ford switched vehicles they were selling me without informing me. I went all the way through the buying process and at delivery told them it was not the car we picked out. They had no apology for the fraud they tried to commit. They said they were trading for another vehicle and could not get it so they swapped it for another without telling me. This dealership is deceitful and dishonest. They hounded me over and over about giving them a perfect rating on their survey even after all the BS they pulled. read more

The absolute worst experience I have ever had with a Ford dealership or vehicle. They make promises and do not deliver. The management team is a joke and does not follow up on issues. Be very careful with this dealership. Especially the used car internet salesmen. They are liars, with no expectations to correct their lies. I wish I had read these reviews before I wasted my time with them. There is no reckoning with them. Every time I call the seller was not there and the supervisor couldn't answer any questions. Visited today based on an e-mail from the sales team. The email said they could save us money based on where we were in our lease. Spent an hours and a half waiting for them to run numbers. When they were done showing me the savings, my payment would go up 25% assuming I put down $5,000. Total additional expense after 36 months was $12,000+. With all of those (non) savings, I could keep the lease and pay it off in under three years. Another fun finding is that they said the trade-in value of the car was $4,000 less than Kelly Blue Book and less than the remaining value of the car, so I would have to cover the difference of $2,000 to "save money." If Grapevine actually reads these, reconsider what savings are and false e-mails. Complete waste of my time. As a positive the sales guys were professional. read more

Buying our first new Ford Explorer! Grapevine ford is awesome , professional and has a coffee shop to enjoy while waiting.

I believe in honesty and sharing information that feel ppl should have and make their own judgements and save themselves problems later. We have owned 4 Ford Expeditions and like Ford. We purchased our last Ford from Grapevine Ford and thus continued going to them for our service. We had an incident a couple of years ago where we were told by service that we needed something that it turns out we DID NOT. We brought the supposed problem to be evaluated at another Ford dealership and we were told the problem didn't exist. After alot of time and energy Grapevine Ford admitted their wrong and made it right, but I put a high emphasis on alot of work to make them accept responsibility of wrong doing (down right unethical in my opinion). In May I brought my car in for a oil change and left with an estimate of over $5500 of recommended things. Recently our son brought his car in for an oil change and he was told by the advisor that is tie end rods were in critical need of repair and recommended he fix them right then. My husband was called and he determined he needed to get another opinion. Two mechanics looked at the vehicle and determined that there was no problem with tie end rods. We met with the tech, advisor and supervisor to have the vehicle put up on rack and the tech put his hands on tires and said see they are bad. We asked him to do it at the brand new car next to his car which was also up on rack and it looked exactly the same. They had every opportunity to back step and admit it was a incorrect call and didn't We went and talked to the person that was involved in my expedition and he said let me look at and I said the car is gone but we will have one more mechanic look at it and then call him Another mechanic looked at it and said the tie end rods are tight and fine and wouldnt recommend anything be done because nothing needed to be done. A call was made to the second person and the GM of the dealership. We never received any call back. Not one. I called and talked to the second supervisor and all he said was well thanks for calling and bye. Sad that a dealership has such little regard for morals and ethical behavior. read more

A few days ago I purchased a used 2016 Ford fusion. I was coming out of an old basic clunker car and had been working on my credit for about two years so I could purchase a new vehicle. Because my last car had basically nothing I really wanted all the bells and whistles. Navigation was really important to me. Bo was my sales person. He was not pushy at all which was very refreshing as previous car salesman at other dealerships have been very offputting. So much so they lost my business. I was told my car had turn by turn navigation but I had to have a subscription for it, which was fine just as long as I could get a nav. I signed up for the subscription and paid my dues but,What a joke! I immediately started doing some research on how to upgrade my vehicle to have navigation. I called the Ford dealership service and they told me that it was impossible and that there was no way to upgrade but that I could upgrade to a different system which would cost me around $4000. For three days, day and night, I have been researching on how to get around what the foud dealership said. Lo and behold for 499 I was able to find someone that could upgrade my vehicle by simply programming my existing system to unlock the built-in navigation it already had. Now, just so you know, had I known that my car did not have navigation, I would not have bought it, I would have looked for a different car on the lot and paid a little bit more to have everything I wanted. So, I am happy with my car. I love it. I was also happy that Bo was not pushy, however I think it was hard for him to push a car that he didn't really know anything about. When I got to the finance portion of the deal, that became a nightmare! The finance manager was extremely pushy about selling me an extended warranty. I explained to him the keeping my monthly payments as low as possible was very important to me and since my car still had some warranty left on it that should have been the end of the discussion. Without telling me in so many words, he lead me to believe that I would not be able to get the good percentage rate on my loan without getting the warranty. He refused to give me a bottom dollar of what my payments would be without the warranty and told me that it was only going to be about 20 or $30 more. After the 30 minute run around trying to break down what my payments would be with or without the warranty and getting no straight answer from him, I just signed the paperwork out of frustration and ready to get my new car and go home. I felt like a bullied kid in high school. I got my car and drove home. the next day when I woke up refreshed from my exhausting night at the d, I was able to go over my paperwork with a pair of fresh eyes. Come to find out, with the warranty my payments were actually about $70 hire a month. I am mediately called the extended warranty company and canceled my warranty. I did not go through the car dealership to do this for fear I would have been talked out of it or bullied into staying with it I should say. Canceling it was a piece of cake. Not many people really enjoy buying a new car at a dealership, even though it should be a joyous event and milestone for some people. Overall I am happy with my purchase, somewhat, but the finance experience was extremely exhausting and unpleasant. read more

Went to this pre owned dealership February 3rd and bought a car from Mike Nkollo. Dustin Heldt and Darren Lewis, in finance, "handled" our auto loan. I used quotations because they didn't exactly handle anything. Received an email from Dustin on February 11th asking me to resend proof of residency, so I resend my proof of residency, and heard nothing back until the last week of March, when I received a call from Dustin in which he told me several things including: 1. Dealing with this car loan makes him want to cry, 2. Every 3 days his manager asks him about the status of our loan and 3. We needed to come in and REAPPLY for our car we had already add payments on. REALLY?! So WHY did it take 2 months to hear from someone at Grapevine Ford regarding the status of our loan? In a matter of 2 hours, I received calls from 3 different people who had 3 different stories and every one of them had horrible customer service skills. Why did we get bounced between different "managers" and departments who had no idea what was going on? We returned to the dealership April 1st with a co-signer and had GM Anthony H. attempt to keep our business - surprise - he couldn't make it happen. Worst customer service. Even if they had been able to make it work for us, I wouldn't have been happy to have to continue dealing with the endless supply of morons at this place. Never ever again. I am, however, hiring a lawyer. And will be changing the name from Grapevine Ford to Kate's Car Dealership. read more

Go Somewhere Else I was looking for a car for my mom and already had financing established with my Credit union. The Sales guy showed me a nice vehicle which I decided to purchase. Haggled over price, came to an agreeement, and asked them to send over the buyers guide to my bank to complete the sale(1:00pm). They kept me waiting 30-45 min before I finally got up and tried to walk out. Some manger comes up to me and asked why I was leaving, I informed him because I have stuff to do and asked him to send the buyers guide over to my bank ASAP because I needed the deal done today. He wouldn't let me leave and wanted me to finance through them. I said no thank you, and thats when another manger came out to talk to me. Again I said no thank you and asked them to send over the guide. I called my bank around 2:00 and they had not received anything. after a few more back and forth conversations, all my banker received was a paper of the price agreement with no description of the vehicle or vin number. Called my sales guy and asked him to send me the buyers guide asap, because I needed the deal done today.. He sent me over a picture of a paper(not a buyers guide) which I could hardly read and asked him to send me a scanned copy of the buyers guide so that I could send it to my bank. 4:00pm. He said that his boss was going to send it over. NO DEAL DONE TODAY. The following morning I waited for a call from bank giving me the green light to go sign my papers with them and pick up my car....NOTHING. I called them around 12:00 and they said that did not recieve anything. Called my sales guy again , a little ticked off by now, and said that I need him to send me over the buyers gude ASAP because I need this deal done before 1:00pm, as my banker was leaving early. Nothing received. 1:05, I called my sales guy REALLY upset now and said that they have dropped the ball twice now. The sales guy said that he will send it but that I need to sign a credit app with Grapevine Ford in order to take delivery of the vehicle. I said that I already have financing lined up and that I don't need to sign. He said it had something to do with fraudulent activity and that everyone has to fill it out. He also said that my credit would not be affected. I informed him that I understand but that I was not going to sign a credit app, I would however sign a document allowing them to check and make sure I was not a terrorist. They sent me over a CREDIT APP and asked me to sign it. I said that I was not and that they had to figure out a way to check my background with out me signing a credit app. The manager called me and pretty much didn't let me talk and said good luck finding a car....he hung up before I could say anything. STAY AWAY and go somewhere else. I found a much better deal at another dealership who actually treated me with respect. read more

I'll try to write a subjective review here, after all, this is for the consumer and if the business truly wishes to improve, then they will listen as well. I have been researching my truck for about a year until I settled on the Ford. I started working with this dealer over the course of several more months, fine tuning my options, until I was ready. I told my salesman that i would commit to working with him and I am a man of my word. I still looked at others dealers but never committed bc I agreed with this guy. I don't think he believed me bc he called every week but that's his job. Here's where the games start I was still about two months from being ready to purchase when I received an email on a truck that was exactly what I wanted at a really good price and these guys had it. So , I called up the salesman and told him I was interested and as a plus I was going to also purchase a new vehicle for my wife. He was pretty excited. Catch was, I told him I wasn't ready and told him where I needed to be. He assured me that they could make everything work out how I wanted and I didn't need to wait anymore. I called THREE times asking him to double check because I'm going to be extremely upset if it doesn't work out when I get there. From here I'll paraphrase because it's very similar to another review. They played games with my credit (I knew exactly what it was and they brought me figures even lower), they low balled us on trade in, a lot of waiting, dragging, promising things were getting worked on. I waited days for them to get it together. I allowed them every chance to figure it out. After 4 days of them pretty much blowing hot air and giving me lip service, I went a bought 2 new vehicles from another dealership and it took them only a day to work out the details and I got everything i was asking for and even some extras. I will not recommend this dealer to anyone I won't even trust them to work on my car. They portray arrogance and think that I NEED them. They lost the sales because of this attitude. They also didn't know that a friend of mine who went with me one day to see all this for himself was also interested in a car and they lost that sale to. You are forewarned. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! read more

Grapevine Ford has been around for a long time. I bought a used vehicle that was still under the manufacturer's warranty from them. Their "prep" and "certification" left me with a truck with underfilled a broken blinker, under filled tires, and an empty washer fluid. Exactly two months after getting the vehicle, I brought my vehicle back to repair. I was able to tell them exactly what was broken and further stayed that their "certification" process should have caught the problem. This "certified" vehicle was supposed to be road ready and legal. It wasn't. I also bought their best warranty. I brought back the vehicle that should be working and they indicated that I would not receive a warranty vehicle while worked on it until they they made their analysis. My issue is that I am not waiting on them to do work that I already paid for using time I am not being paid for. It's a waste of my time that I shouldn't have to spend in the first place. My blinker is broke. The issue is clearly under warranty and it should never have been released like that by the "inspection" process. The extended warranty they offer is a rip-off. It's bad enough that they sell a service that costs you money to use. It's my fault for buying it. I hope this serves as a warning to everyone that goes to Grapevine Ford. read more

So, I noticed a car this dealership had on its website and made the mistake of filling out the "Send me info" form on the side...wow, these people have blown up my phone. Even though I have talked with them and set an appointment to go look at the car, multiple "sales managers" have emailed me, called me and continue to do so to the minute I am writing this review.
