I took it to our original jeep dealer and they couldnt believe what Grapevine had done. i should file in small claims to get them to pay for the garage oil cleanup. I had a disappointing experience at this dealership's service department. The staff were rude and not very helpful when I asked questions about the work being done on my car. On top of that, the services were extremely overpriced for what was provided. It felt like they were more focused on charging as much as possible rather than helping customers. Overall, the combination of poor customer service and high prices makes this a place I would not recommend. Misleading! Ten years ago I'd go here with confidence feeling I could ask anything and be treated fairly by a staff that valued transparency and integrity, but those days are gone. Communication was minimal and misleading to the benefit of the business' profit. I had to fight to get any detailed information. What should have been a simple repair cost us double what it would have anywhere else, and then we were basically told they'd done us a favor taking off $20 here and $30 there on a $1,000 invoice. They pressured me into buying a package with oil changes, only to provide the worst service afterward. I scheduled an appointment and specifically selected a rental car option because I can't sit and wait for long periods with a child. When I arrived, they told me it would be a two-hour wait. I said that was fine because I had a rental reserved, only to be informed that they "don't do rentals on Saturdays." I asked why that option was available if it wasn't actually offered, but they made no effort to help or correct their system's mistake. I ended up leaving, and I won't be returning. Absolutely completely disappointed in the entire experience with the Body Shop/Service Center. Scheduled an oil change (that I had pre-paid for with the plan when purchasing my jeep.. they didnt tell me until AFTER it was covered at THAT Jeep Dealership, only certain ones). Also paid for and requested my tires be rotated, which I know for a fact they didn't do because I have different decals on each of my tires and they were on the same when I picked it up. They also sent me a "quote of recommended services" of over $3k (not what I asked for).. he finally convinced me to do the 4x4 package because he said that should check for whatever was causing my death wobble. A brand new vehicle should not have 8+ recalls in the first 2 years, with one particular defect resulting in 4 separate service appointments and the vehicle being out of service for 60+ days. All we have requested is to terminate our lease and return the vehicle with no further financial responsibility, but they will not agree. They know it's a POS and this lifelong Jeep owner will NEVER own another vehicle under the Stellantis umbrella. read more

I spent over 30 years in the Automotive business. I tried to do business locally. I looked at the Grapevine dealership inventory online. The Hornet SUV I was looking at did not have the options I wanted. The Sales Manager Dylan told me about one that was not on the inventory. It turned out to be a loaner with 3800 miles on it. I was interested and because it was a loaner vehicle, Dylan promised me a great deal. I went into the dealership and the salesperson Adrian was very accommodating. I went home and asked for a purchase quote. I was quoted full MSRP plus an outrageous addendum addition to the price $45,053.00 and was offered $20,000 for my trade which is $7000 less than Kelly TRADE IN VALUE (not retail) for my low mileage clean trade. The bottom line was $32815.70. I went to a dealer out of state and purchased the same vehicle without the track package (rides better anyway) $41,000.00 MSRP for $29,000 and got $27,000 for the trade. The final quote from the other dealership out of state was $30,000.00 less than Grapevine Dodge quoted. My total cash difference was $3200.00 (YES three thousand two hundred) not the $32815.70 (thirty-two thousand eight hundred fifteen) that Grapevine quoted me. I drove there with a cashier's check. I attempted to do this through the correct channels so as not to make it public, but after multiple tries from both the dealer chat and corporate chat, no one was able to give a corporate survey to fill out. Scheduled drop off for my Ram 2500 on Saturday morning at 7:00 am for a 30,000 mile service. When I arrived at my appointed time the service writer came out and immediately acted like it was a bother for me to even be there. I had hoped to get the service, which was scheduled in advance, to be done the same day, but that was immediately shot down by the service advisor (claiming short staffing, etc). It wasn't until the following Monday afternoon the service advisor contacted me back with an update. With this update he was trying to sell me services as being recommended which are not required by owner's manual/factory specs until much later on in the service intervals--things like a coolant flush (not due for 10 years/150,000 miles), brake fluid flush (the vehicle has not even had pad replacements yet), and a few other services not required or needed on a diesel vehicle with less than 31,000 miles on it. He also tried to tell me that my road hazard tire warranty wouldn't cover the replacement of a tire before he even tried to contact them to see if it would be covered (it was, but he tried to tell me otherwise beforehand). I inquired about a loaner vehicle at this point since the vehicle would again not be ready by the end of Monday, but was told they didn't have any available. I was then told that my vehicle would be ready by Tuesday afternoon. I arrived Tuesday at approximately 6 pm to pick up the vehicle and was told it was not ready because the wrong tire had been ordered (the one that had to be replaced) and it would be a bit longer. I waited over another hour for my vehicle which I was told would be ready, to the point they locked the service entrance doors while I was still there. Additionally, the communication I received (both phone and text) came across as adversarial. In the text messages the service advisor came across as shouting/yelling because all the replies were in ALL CAPS. In the end this is one of the worst customer service experiences I have had with any dealership in my life. This comes from someone who has worked in and around the automotive dealership services for many years with close family members and friends being service managers at CDJR dealers. I hope this review opens the eyes to the leadership/management as to the issues which may be happening to other customers besides myself. My trust in this dealership and its service department has greatly been compromised by this experience. read more

Today was the second time I have been to this location have my vehicle serviced and the wait time was going to be longer than advised. The first time I was told it would take several hours even though I had and appointment and they were able to move things around and get the work done in about an hour. Today I also had an appointment for a manufacturer service recall and when I arrived the service technician told me that even though the procedure takes about 45 minutes, it would take half a day to get it done because they already had a bunch of other drop offs this morning. Why make an appointment at a specific time if the work is not going to be started at the time of the appointment. In the beginning I was very happy with the service, but since the last times I am not excited at all anymore. The last maintenance I paid over 800 dollars. No problem if it needs to, but when I came home, I checked my back wiper because I know it was ripped. What do you think it was still ripped. And on the paperwork, it says it was checked and okay. When I reached out with several text messages, I never got an answer back. Both of my headlights were broken. They told me they need my car the whole day to fix it and the cost would be around 700 and 350 for the lights. I searched on you tube and I fixed them myself. UPDATE: The service manager with the bad behavior called and left a message. I've called back twice, left him messages and no response. I did find out through a neighbor that I had been given false information about who the owner actually is. I have now sent an email to the actual owner and waiting on a response. Here is the letter written to the dealership owner. No response after a week: Dear Mr. Buehlman, My husband and I have been customers of your service department for years We previously had great service until this last experience which was so over the top bad that I not only wanted to inform you of what happened, but I have an expectation of the cost we incurred as a result of the neglect by your service department. My husband, had a service appointment on March 6th at 11am to bring in our Jeep for a diagnostic and repair of an engine issue we were having. We had the vehicle towed to the dealership. When my husband made the appointment he specified he wanted a diagnostic done along with an estimate to fix whatever they found wrong. Solomon stated that he wasn't in a hurry, as he would be out of town for the week. The car arrived at service on Monday the 6th. We didn't hear anything the first week but no big deal because we were out of town anyway. The second week, a sales rep called from the dealership and asked my husband if we were interested in trading the Jeep in for a new car. My husband explained that we were waiting on the service department to give us an estimate for repair first before we made any decisions. Now the second week comes and goes with no word from the service department. So, on Friday, March 17th my husband calls the service department and talks to a guy and asks if they have any news on our Jeep repairs. He looks up our records in the system and says they don't have anything listed. My husband asked if they have done anything as far as diagnosing what's wrong. Not only did they not start anything, the guy says they don't have our Jeep. WTH? The guy says he will go out on the lot and look for it. 2 hours go by and I call the dealership and speak with a girl who tells me she hasn't heard anything but will get with the manager but they couldn't find our Jeep. By this time it was late afternoon and we never received a call back. Saturday morning, March 18th, we get in the car and drive to the dealership. We circle around the back of service and there sets our Jeep just 3 spaces in so obviously no one even went out and looked on Friday. My husband goes in and asks to speak to the service manager who evidently didn't give a crap about customer service. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and couldn't believe they couldn't find the car. They asked the service manager to come to the desk. Evidently, the manager didn't realize that the customer, my husband was actually there because he was yelling at the ladies at the desk and acted a complete fool. You could tell the ladies were used to his verbal abuse and outbursts because they just sat there looking at him with his red face looking all crazy. My husband who is one of the most chill people, explained that we had driven the lot and found the Jeep and asked if they would be able to do the diagnostic. The manager acted like he was all stressed out and was doing my husband a favor by trying to get to it in the upcoming week. I seriously couldn't believe this guy. We left and again my husband had to fly out of town on business for 3 weeks but was expecting a call within the first week. Because my husband was trying to be patient because obviously the service manager was overwhelmed in his position waited until Friday, March 31st to call and find out the status. Guess what...they hadn't even pulled it in to look at it. On April 3rd, my husband arranged for a tow truck to come pick up the Jeep and have it towed to Lane's Automotive in Euless which cost us $125, which I expect you to reimburse because we already paid for a tow to get it to your dealership. Wanna know what the problem was? It was a simple spark plug issue that cost less than $500 to fix and was done the same day. Oh but wait, let me give you the icing on the cake. Today, April 5th, your service department had the nerve to call my husband to tell him our Jeep was due for service and wanted to know if he wanted to bring it there for service. You know the sad part about this is we had already planned to gift the Jeep to our niece once it was in running order because we're buying a new vehicle for our business. What are the odds we would buy it from a dealership that had our Jeep for a month and not only didn't fix it but also had us to drive to the dealership midpoint to find the damn Jeep on the lot because they couldn't locate it? If I could give ZERO STARS, I would. The finance department is full of thieves. We specifically told them NO ADD ONS. We informed them we had approvals through Capital One for myself and my husband as we were purchasing 2 vehicles. They did not put the deals together as we requested and had been approved for, causing us to have a much higher interest rate. We were also told at the beginning they were rolling the negative from my trade to both vehicles and that wasn't the case at all. Now not only are we stuck with 2 vehicles that have 8k+ in addons, they also handed it to us with much higher interest rate on 1 vehicle. They also refused to give us copies of 1 of the vehicle paperwork we signed at the dealership until I got them the 2nd key I traded in, only to find out about the add ons on the NEW VEHICLE I PURHCHASED. This was a very unfortunate experience with the service department at this dealership. The engine light came on for my jeep and I took the vehicle in and was told that the engine needs to be replaced. The advisor and the repair technician initially were also excited that I had Max Care protection, which would cover that according to them. I questioned why the engine needs to be replaced as I had driven the Jeep to the dealership and nothing seem to be wrong with it. How the insisted and eventually I decided to tow the vehicle to a different garage to get it repaired. The Garage was able to find the issues with the thermostat has also a couple of other things that you are repaired. Technician had missed on a radiator box leak and also one of the cables chewed up. I was able to get everything repaired for 1/10th of what the dealer was saying and the vehicle is running fine now. I requested for the refund of the diagnosis fee as it was a total misdiagnosis and amounted to fraud. The same was refunded after much delay. It is very unfortunate that such a reputed dealership would do this to a loyal customer who has been coming to them for years. I recommended stringent action should be taken against the repair technician who gave the misdiagnosis and the process of evaluation of vehicle should be looked into. I hope the Repair technicians do not have any incentive to suggest repairs so that they can be benefited by that as this is detrimental to the customer. All in all very, very bad experience. i brought my jeep in for a recall- I called ahead and set up a appointment, after I brought in the vehicle I had two other issues I needed help with - a windshield and tpms system - both of these items where not handled - a number of other issues apparently were done to my without my knowledge or being told about what was happening. During my initial visit in early December, I brought my car with about 39,000 miles in for issues with both screens not working (controls for A/C, radio, navigation, etc.). Jeep Grapevine advised me to seek service elsewhere as they were busy and suggested it might not be covered under warranty unless it was a major issue. After getting a second opinion, another service center confirmed it was a significant problem with the car's computer and recommended I return to the dealership. When I returned in late December, I was told there would be a long wait time (3-4 days) and was advised to come back early in the new year for quicker service and to avoid loaner car fees. On February 3rd, I visited again with a loaner appointment. They confirmed there was no warranty coverage and mentioned another long wait time. They said, "Come out, your presence is your best leverage!" I went, and they wouldn't tell me the price. First they wanted a copy of my license & insurance. Then they wanted my car keys to pretend to evaluate my trade (Don't let them hold you hostage by taking your keys before they ever tell you a price). Then they wanted me to sign a paper that said my car was paid off (because I'm a liar?). And what do my license/insurance/car ownership status have to do with the price of the car they are selling? Just tell me the price of the car! After an hour I started to walk out - they finally told me a price 3k over the price on the internet - and that price was before Dodge started offering an addition 2k incentive. So in a week, the price went up 5k? They said that's the best they can do, even though CarEdge shows the price history with the car offered at 3k less BEFORE Dodge started offering the 2k incentive... so they lied to my face before I showed them the documentation of their lies. They also offered me 28k for my 2023 Charger R/T Last Call Blacktop with 6k miles. HA!!!! CarMax and Carvana offered over 35k without me even buying a car from them. Grapevine Dodge's "new" Scat Pack has been sitting over 220 days, has a dead battery and rusty brake discs (don't believe me? Go look at ALL of their vehcles! RUST!!!!) some of them have been sitting in the weather for almost a year! They used a jump box to start the Scat Pack, and I checked Performance Pages. It shows that this "new" car was driven over 120MPH before the motor break-in period! It only has 16 miles on odometer. Does this void the warranty? I'm sure if anything fails on your engine it will. Grapevine Dodge lied to get me into the dealership, lied about the price, lied about the condition of the vehicle (mileage is still wrong, 3 days after I pointed it out to the) they collected my personal information unnecessarily (so now I have credit monitoring watching to see who they give that info to), they try to delay you for hours with their "process", and they abuse their inventory before you buy it! If Chargers and Challengers didn't have Performance Pages, we wouldn't know how they are torturing their "new" cars and then suckering customers into believing they are factory fresh. Before you buy a rusty abused car from Grapevine Dodge, consider just buying a used Scat or Cat. Yeah, it will be just as abused as the "new" ones at Grapevine Dodge, but at least you won't overpay $5,000 for it, and it probably won't have a dead battery and rusty brake discs. In just a few short months, we have been stranded on the side of the road twice, once in Texas and the second time in Georgia where the vehicle remains to this day. To make matters worse the General Sales Manager ROY OLIVO was rude, obnoxious and refused to help us. The General Manager BRANDON BUEHLMAN has refused to speak with us about our concerns. But that's not even the worst part. When we purchased the vehicle, we were sold an extended warranty that turned out to be worthless. They gave us no options for the extended warranty and told us they picked the one that "made the most sense". To who??? You??? Because it obviously wasn't for us!! POOR Communication and poor attitude/bait and switch-just like every other scamming Dealer. I inquired about a used 3500 Ram diesel through the Autotrader website last Monday. The truck I wanted was still in stock. I did the online trade appraisal on Grapevine Dodge website and it gave me a number, 3 days later then a "Manager" said he needed me to fill out another online trade appraisal and never got back with me. I am not upside down in my trade, my credit is not bad and this is how you treat customers? NOW I GOT A CREDIT INQUIRY FOR NOTHING..... I sent everything they needed to make this happen. They pulled my credit and thought things were moving but slowly. I had to constantly send emails on what was going on as it was passed to 3 different sales people there. During our email chain the communication was slow and poor-this went on for almost a week. Then Saturday (early) I sent email saying I was coming to look at the truck and gave a time with again no communication. Today, I emailed AGAIN and now the truck is sold. On top of all this, the staff at the dealership was incredibly inefficient. They seemed disinterested and disorganized, making the entire process feel like a waste of my time. We should have read the reviews before we made the trip to this dealership. They are the least professional organization we've worked with. The truck we bought for my son's business was in the shop and being repaired. They assured us they would make all the necessary repairs and inspection which did not happen. In terms of the agreement changed three times and went from 620 per month to 820 per month. In the four weeks we've had the vehicle we've had to replace the brakes and rotors and have had no response from the dealership. You will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the parent corporation, which is Keating auto group and any other consumer groups we can identify. Very misleading telephone sales practice and little respect for your time...knowing that we were driving an hour out of our way to see a "pristine" used vehicle with a "no accident" carfax report, we show up and the truck is beat to heck and filthy...trash from the prior owner was still in the car, car had been wrecked (but I guess not reported) in multiple places, and a tire was bald & flat, all after their "120 point inspection." We still heard them out and tried to negotiate a more fair price that considered the poor condition of the vehicle, but then they told us there's a MANDATORY $2000 up charge for some GPS tracker and windshield warranty, lol. To be fair, the place was nice and clean, and the sales guy Sebastian who we met for the first time while there was really nice and was completely innocent to the garbage noted (and the only reason for 2 over 1 star)...obviously he got jerked around by their inbound sales group and ridiculous forced accessory policies. I wouldn't go back based on the $2000 charge that no one mentioned ahead of time either. read more
