This was an incredible experience. It began with the bartender - Brooke. She, literally, could be the next Robin Williams?! She had us crying we were laughing so hard. Clone her STAT! The place itself is basic; you're here to taste wine. It was part of our "Grapevine" crawl and by far our favorite stop. We sampled whites but in the end, fell in love with and purchased the Rose. It was additionally fun having locals and tourists come and go - an enjoyable afternoon! I'm literally paying more to arrive earlier on a future flight, to have time with my Texas bestie to attend another Wine Wednesday. Fingers crossed it's Brooke's shift! She should do stand up!

I love sampling all kinds of different wines. While visiting Dallas with some friends, we all stopped at this place to enjoy some delicious wine. Right off the bat, I knew this place was going to be great. My favorite part was that they offered wine flights, where you can select 4 different wines to taste. We ordered 2 different flights (8 different wine samples), and honestly, everything we tried was awesome. I'm a red wine guy, so the reds were my favorite from the bunch. We all had a blast hanging out here, drinking wines, and just relaxing.

Met a friend here to have a glass of wine before dinner. Prior to my arrival, she had sampled a couple and decided to get us a glass of the Chocolate raspberry port. It had a nice taste if you like dessert wine. She also ordered the Gouda pimento cheese spread to go. We sat at the bar. The vibe was nice. I will be back.

You can never have to many wineries, and I love finding a good winery for a tasting, especially those that offer them upon request. I love tasting other people's pride and joy and there were a few here that I found impressive. Although I am not a fan of merlot, I am now a fan of their Merlot. Everything about this winery is inviting and comfortable, they also have a small plate menu to go along with the wine selection. These are my kind of grapes and this my kind of chill place. Cheers!

Open on Mondays! I was in the area, it was hot, and I was in need of a glass of wine. I decided to stop in for a tasting and soak up some AC. The man behind the bar was wonderful. He was friendly and very knowledgeable about the selection. The atmosphere was comfortable and bigger than anticipated. I enjoyed my selection and will stop in again when in Grapevine.

This is my spot every Thursday! Brooke, Maria, Amy, Christina & even Rick (lol) are always welcoming and make it fun to be a regular here.

This place is AWESOME!!! 5/5 Atmosphere & Ambiance - rustic and eclectic 5/5 Wine & Taste - did a flight of 3 wines, jalapeño shooters, and a few glasses of wine - all of them were outstanding and unique 5/5 Price - photos are attached. Regular prices (even) on the weekends are good. They have daily specials and it looks like Tuesday is the night to buy bottles of wine! 5/5 Customer Service - Bartender Aria was an absolute sweetheart! Everyone was just very welcoming. 4/5 Ghost Tour (Friday & Saturday nights only) - led by Paula who is wonderful and we loved how much knowledge she has of the area and you can tell she loves Grapevine and the stories the city holds. The tour comes with a glass of wine you can have before or after, and all of your purchases are 15% off. PERFECT DATE NIGHT!!! Also I found this deal on Groupon and this was a WIN! Highly recommend and we will be back without a Groupon next time!

Great little local wine tasting room with reasonable flights and charcuterie platters. Loved the almond champagne and rosemary asiago!

The name of this place has intrigued me for some time. You see I am a bit of a history buff and…read morethe Volstead Act outlawed alcohol sales in 1919. Clubs still existed though, in the form of speakeasy's. Volstead is fashioned after a speakeasy from the era, and you feel it walking in. The place has an old time feel to it. My service was great. Friendly, cheerful, and a Ray of sunshine in the mysterious and dim lights, reminiscent of a speakeasy. I ordered a Cheeseburger and it came with Skinny Fries. I got to give them props, the food was delicious and something I would return for!

Both the Tavern and Tycoon are in Flower Mound, and I have not visited, but I have made stops at both Jane and now Volstead. And I have to say, I wanted to be impressed, and I just wasn't. When I went to Jane, the cocktails were not up to snuff. My visit to Volstead, the cocktail was fantastic but the ambiance and food disappointed. I came into Volstead to check out the happy hour. They have a discount on wine, and half off their signature cocktails and martinis. They make craft cocktails, which were impressive, but only have one bartender. It takes time, but they could use another. I ordered a Volstead Vesper. It is a bold martini. Josh made it well. It was well balanced. Boozy yet balanced. And I love a lemon curl. A garnish can really elevate a cocktail. Five stars for the drink. I will come back and order another one. I also ordered their spicy tuna crispy rice. It was rather a disappointment. The serving size was generous, the crunch on the rice was there, and then it fell short. The texture of the rice was on the mushier side. The tuna was NOT spicy. It had been dressed in something, but it brought absolutely NO flavor or anything to the tuna. There was a wasabi cream and a sauce (maybe eel sauce) that dressed the plate, but the tuna was bland. A little soy, citrus, yuzu, sriracha or SOMETHING to elevate and brighten the tuna would have been EVERYTHING. So it just ended up being bland tuna, on undressed avocado, on fried mushy rice with some tasty sauces. It absolutely was not spicy. And with a little something something it could have been rather tasty. Even with mushy rice. When I walked in and sat down, there was no music playing so you were just hearing conversations bouncing off the walls. After about a half hour someone decided they needed some tunes, but then it was too loud and it was hard to hear the bar tenders. I loved the decor, and again, my cocktail was really rather good. The overall feel just felt kind of sloppy. It could have been awesome, and fell short. They claim to have Southlakes best burger, and maybe that is a better choice than the tuna. I may give it a shot. It got rather popular as I was leaving, the crowd a bit more mature. And maybe that is their bag. They have great reviews and high stars, I just didn't feel it.
