Very dry, oftentimes rude, they view you more as a transaction than a human being. No common courtesies such as please, thank you, etc, and that goes for any of them who happens to be staffing the desk. If you need anything from the store, better to exit the park and head to the Stripes. At least you'll have a bigger variety and not some rude person grunting at you.

I really love that they offer a propane refill service here, so I'll call the front office and they will send a guy down to disconnect my tanks, refill them, and reconnect them, then just charge my card I have on file. The older woman and man at check-in were rude to us, and throughout our stay we were repeatedly met with dirty looks and cold behavior. On our last day, after we had already packed up our campsite we stopped in to grab a quick bite to eat before leaving town. Instead of being treated kindly we were greeted with a stern and rude "When are you leaving?" The entire experience was very discouraging and uncomfortable. We did not feel respected or welcomed, and unfortunately we would not stay here again.

In this part of Texas you don't have a ton of RV spots that have character. This one does. It's…read morenot just a flat piece of cleared land. It's far enough from the freeway that you don't hear the traffic yet close enough to easily get on and off the freeway. The owner is a really nice guy and he'll make you feel welcome and glad you stopped in. The place doesn't have amenities like a public shower or laundry facilities, but, the folk are really friendly and the price is very fair. Stay a night or longer, this place can really feel like a quiet spot.
