There is no on-site management for the park. You pull in, select a spot, and then go across the street to the Super 8 Hotel to pay ($50 per night) whereupon they give you the key to unlock your power box. Positives: level concrete pads, new (or very recent) power pedestals, with stable power, good water pressure, sewer dump at each site, a bath house with two full baths with showers, and some coin operated laundry machines. There are no picnic tables at the sites. The park is very well lit at night. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, donut/kolache shop across street, gas stations with easy access are nearby, and a grocery store is down the street if you need to provision up before you depart. We were in site 219 which backed up to the bathhouse, and the WiFi was great, good enough to stream the football game. They appear to have cable hook ups at each site, but we did not try it out for one night. Negatives: The park is VERY well lit at night. This is not a "dark sky" park. The lighting is like an airport runway. Draw your shades or risk sunburn. I knocked off one star mainly because of the price. This is an "overnight stop", and should be perhaps $35-$40 per night. $10 is not going to break me, but come on guys. Reservations are not needed, the park is pretty large, and not full at all. There appeared to be two full time residents there (one a DPS trooper), and all other sites are open. Recommended for what it is: a safe overnight stop within 5 minutes of IH-10 with no unhitching required.

They proudly put a sanitation sign on their bathroom but that has to be the nastiest bathroom I have ever seen at a hotel. The room felt like a jail cell with the cinder blocks, limited lighting, and disgusting beds. Their beds had no fitted sheet but instead had a flat sheet wrapped around it. Pillows were flat and overused. When asked to receive a refund after wanting to check out less than 20 mins of being there, we were told we had to deal with Expedia. We did the book now, pay later because we wanted to see if we can get my military discount as well. We contacted Expedia. They could not issue the refund but said the hotel had to. When contacting the hotel with that information they then continued to refuse to issue a refund because the beds were used. They absolutely were not. They were being cheap. DO NOT GO TO THIS PROPERTY.

My husband and I pulled into the campground for the evening for a single night stay. This park is not for a traveler. This park appears to have "lifers" only. The grounds are not kept up, the sites are hard to interpret, (it appeared someone was in our space and had been for some time) and the place is old and run down. (campers and all) I did not feel safe parking here. Fortunately, I was able to find us a place a few miles away. I would like to add that the park did not contact me when I did not show up.

This RV park is nestled right across the river from Garner State Park. What is great about the location is you are a very small walk down to the river bank, but way up high on the cliff to get a great view of the area. When the sun gets past 7pm, the oak trees give a lot of shade for the dinner hour. You are also near Old Baldy trailhead if you want to do a quick climb up the tallest peak there. Parkview has all of the amenities like a general store, full service bathrooms that are kept clean, and daily trash pickup. The wifi is pretty unreliable but does work with a delay like satellite internet. If you have AT&T for cellular service, you will be fine in the Concan area. Everyone else will suffer the total disconnect from the virtual world, which you were hoping to get away from, right? I usually go during Father's day week which seems to be a very busy time. It's hard to get a reserved spot during peak times, so be sure to ask to get on a waiting list.

Needless to say I called the lady again and said "I'm done". We left. You never know what didn't happen when you have a bad situation and got yourself out of there.
