Very interesting concept here very nice decor and really liked the no contact self service set up staying a few nights was No kids No pets That maybe a turn off for some but I think it's a plus There is a pizza place downstairs that gets busy and has music so if you are trying to get some sleep this may not be for you Also it's a bit high price but I understand it's for like honeymoon and such so not too bad read more

The best pizzeria in San Angelo! I absolutely loved it! This was my first time trying pickle pizza and let me tell you that I am now obsessed and trying to find it everywhere (without much luck!), so put this on your list of their great foods to try! The Mediterranean pizza was amazing as well! By the way, they do have several vegetarian options and also tasty fresh salads if pizza is not your thing. The food and atmosphere were great both days I visited and I would definitely love to come back. They were also able to accommodate my friend who has tons of food allergies, the owners were very attentive and caring in this regard! They also use PourMyBeer self-pour technology thanks to which you can try many local craft beers and other drinks by the ounce! Such a fun great concept and you don't have to wait in line! We also stayed at their bed & breakfast that weekend and had an absolutely fantastic time! It was so cozy and had a home-like feel! It was also surprisingly quiet for being a busy weekend in San Angelo (during the rodeos). The kitchen was well equipped with everything and even though we did not get to cook, you certainly could if you wanted to. There was a variety of sodas, bagels, cereals, and just all the necessary breakfast items to get you going in the morning, too, which I loved! Fun, and super cute rooms! We stayed in the Chiefs Retreat...because it had a soaking tub! The only negatives are we walked in to an 80 degree room on an already hot day it took awhile for the room to cool down and we were looking forward to an afternoon nap...also, I knew there was a restaurant attached but didn't know we would hear allll the noise until they closed. read more

We loved staying here. The Locker Room was beautiful! The shower was amazing, we loved the details, the bed was super comfy and cozy. We loved the snacks and drinks available to guests. Expect to pay a little more for a pie than you're used to at your local "$5 for a pizza" spot because exceptional food always comes with a higher price tag. 24 cold beers on tap that you pour yourself! I wanted to like this place because I was excited to try it but if I were going somewhere for great pizza in town this wouldn't be at the top of my list, mine came out watery... almost like they poured the can of olives juice and all on top. It just wasn't good. Also the tap wall is convenient but unsanitary, especially in this day and age. Everyone was given one glass pint to reuse and touch to the beer taps when it's seems like a disposable cup would be the way to go. If I try them again I'll stick with the canned beer selection and try a different pizza. read more

I booked a night here for my boyfriend's birthday. It exceeded expectations to say the least. The room we stayed in was beyond gorgeous and had everything and more that we might have needed. The no contact check in and coded locked doors was a nice touch as well. We stayed when the restaurant downstairs was closed so noise was not an issue. This was my second trip to this establishment. The first time was crowded and uninviting. The second time I went with my usual entourage, my daughter and granddaughter. With her recent move to San Angelo and my addiction to eating out, I wanted to try places I haven't yet been and see what she thinks about the local eats.  Walking into the restaurant, it feels communal, however; it offers more intimate tables for 2 or 4 as well as longer tables for more guests. The floors and walls host memorabilia from times past. THe tables are beautiful wood tables and the high tops have sturdy barstools. The floors are a rusty brown, shiny concrete, and they have several televisions playing an assortment of shows and games. They also offer outdoor seating. To order, you must approach the counter. There is a menu and an open deli refrigerator with some additional items such as cookies with fruit, unusual drink and salads. Once you order, you can fill up your own beverages and choose your seating. Once seated, they delivered your order to your table by, in our case, a not-so-nice employee.  Three pizzas, personal size, and three drinks were a little pricy at $50. The pizzas were phenomenal. As the hour wore down and people left, the atmosphere came into a calm where one could see themselves using the establishment as a place to study or write.  1 star taken for the unpalatable attitude of the server, it was completely uncalled for and it wasn't just my trio that found his demeanor unsatisfactory for a consumer oriented establishment. read more

I'm sure this place is great, and we looked forward to staying here the night of our wedding, but instead a family member had a medical emergency and we spent our wedding night in the hospital. after we did get some sleep the next day I reached out to inquire about a possible refund, even though the staff seem's to be nice, they are not understanding that the unforeseen happens, and told us it's to late to be refunded. Guess I'm the odd one out. Have been meaning to try the pizza for a long time and it was pretty good for wood fired pizzas. Just a little overpriced for the size of pizza you get. With other wood fired options around that factor alone drops it to a 3 unfortunately. Of course if you want to try something unique like pickle pizza, go for it. Not your everyday boring bed and breakfast! They offer a small selection of free breakfast items, picture attached, but they have a flexible happy hour every day offering free local wines and brews (21+) to their guests. The most amazing part to me and I'm sorry I didn't get a good picture (is on their website) is the newly renovated bathroom... OMG, the soaking tub in the Chief's Retreat was breathtaking. My wife and I both fit in it comfortably and enjoyed every minute of our time here. Will definitely be back before we leave San Angelo! read more

Excellent pizza, beer, and service. Definitely recommend. The beer dispensing system is unique and efficient. Also, the checkout method is nice, you don't have to wait in line to settle your tab. Wonderfully renovated old firehouse building with a luxurious feel. The bed and breakfast side is so elegantly understated and inviting that we were delighted on sight just walking in. The Chief's Retreat room is the perfect size and the bed is supremely comfy. We just happened to be coming through San Angelo and booked at the last minute but this place makes me wish this was a place we could regularly book. read more
