Such a fun and modern hotel to stay at! The rooms are posh and comfy and the pool, bar and cabanas are the place to be! This is a great place to hand out and have a drink even if you aren't staying there! Great atmosphere!

Amazing hotel! Walking distance from all downtown eateries, events and points of interest. Completely renovated and remodeled for an upscale experience! Great for getting away or just experiencing an amazing ambiance right in the city.

It's an older building, and it shows. The rooms look tired and very dark. The shades are wearing out on the windows. I turn all lights on with the windows open to make it bright enough. The heating/ac is controlled with a dial and not a thermostat that gives the temperature, so I find it hard to get to a temp that I like consistently. But the heater works well, so does the AC when I overshoot and get too hot. So, things can definitely be upgraded. I'm hoping the next time I come in for work the pancake maker is working. It only worked 1 day in times I was there when I was able to eat breakfast over 2 2 week stays (I only eat on the weekends and not on weekdays). I love Holiday Inn pancakes, and I'm not a huge pancake fan. Is this a deal breaker? No, but it is disappointing. The laundry is reasonably priced washer and dryer. The hotel location is convenient right off the freeway. I think Holiday Inn (in general) needs to get better sofas, theirs are so uncomfortably hard. I though it was the only the one in Wisconsin, but this one has the exact same sofas. I really like the bed. I stay here pretty regularly for work, and I'll continue staying here because the staff are so nice. They have a fridge and microwave which is what I need.

This used to be my first choice in lodging in San Angelo. No more…read more 1. Lift not working due to storm damage. Understandable. 2. Carpet damp in room. From storm? Questionable. 3. Overall condition of room was deplorable. Paint peeling on ceiling, patches to outside walls above AC, no shades over blackout blinds, blackout blinds torn. 4. To top it off, ants in the bathroom covering my tooth brush! Ana at the front desk was very kind when I complained, and deserves kudos. I've stayed in oilfield camps in the Algerian desert that are nicer than this place! Not at all up to IHG standards. I'm giving one star because that is as low as I can go.

She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel very welcome. Our room was very clean, and the bathroom was as well. The hotel staff did an excellent job, and we had a very pleasant stay. The only issue we experienced was with the refrigerator. It seemed to operate on some type of timer rather than cooling continuously. We placed food in it before leaving for the day, but when we returned, the food was only slightly cool instead of properly cold. Unfortunately, we will probably have to throw it away. It would be wonderful if the refrigerators could maintain a consistent, food-safe temperature. Aside from that one issue, we were very pleased with our stay. The excellent service--especially from Vicki--and the cleanliness of the hotel made for a great experience.

The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. My only problem with the room was that there was no bottled water available in the fridge, and that would have been nice to make coffee in the morning. My favorite aspect of this stay for me, however, was not the comfortable bed or the free cookies in the lobby. It was the excellent bar area in the lobby. I stayed here twice while traveling through the area, and it was so enjoyable to have a place to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening without having to leave the hotel. I also enjoyed an excellent breakfast here on my second stay. I was blown away with how good it was. The only issue here was I was charged separately for the breakfast, even though it was supposed to be included in the price I paid for the room. The young lady who checked me in and completed my transaction apologized because she was new and didn't know how to add in the price for the breakfast, Overall a very pleasant experience. I strongly recommend this location.

Her breakfasts were well cooked, and she kept them warm and refilled/ restocked in a timely manner. Eleni also kept the dining area spotless and offered to clear customers plates after they were done eating. And she regularly came around asking how our breakfast was and if she could help with anything. Yes, the front desk and room cleaning service was top notch, but Eleni's breakfasts gave my family a great start for our day. Thanks, Eleni!

Checked into my room and was very impressed with the size of the suite, but wished it was central heat and air. Also the refrigerator was very dirty. This morning, i woke up at 6:30am for work and saw 4 roaches on the wall. That pretty much ruined it for me. I called the front desk and they told me to come get some roach spray. Umm. So i go to work today and come back. Housekeeping had come, but they didnt change the sheets or replace the toilet paper. Called the front desk again and she said they might have an extra roll and to come down to get it. I did. They had said they would change my room because of the roaches and never did. The front desk people either arent there or couldnt care less about customers. Just don't stay at this place unless you want to watch drug deals out of the window of your room and hang out with roaches.

The breakfast consists of eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, make your own waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereal, assorted snack cakes, bread and juice. The only downsides to this hotel is that they BLAST music almost the entire day. It's annoyingly loud. The walls are thin so it blasts into your room along with any sound from the hallways and the atrium. It's a surprisingly busy spot on the weekends. Which adds to the loudness. No microwaves in room (have to walk all the way to the upstairs restaurant to microwave food. The microwave is gross now because people don't know how to clean up after themselves and every shower curtain I've seen has unknown stains on them. The good outweighs the bad although the loudness is annoying. I would definitely suggest to get an outside room if you stay!

While it may not be the…read morenicest-looking hotel, the customer service has always been good, and we loved that it was a place where the kids could run around, swim, and play. My niece especially enjoyed being able to swim and spend time with her cousins. Unfortunately, after this weekend, we will never stay here again. The new rules they are enforcing are absolutely ridiculous, especially for a large family. We booked a room with two beds, and when we checked in, I was told that everyone in our family and our guests had to wear wristbands. I thought that was a little excessive for a hotel that isn't a resort, but I was willing to go along with it. What really upset me was when I went back to ask for additional wristbands for my niece, sister, and brother-in-law. I was told that I had already been given the maximum number of wristbands and that if I wanted people to visit me at the hotel, they would need wristbands, and I would have to book another room to get additional ones. The way this was explained to me was also very rude and unwelcoming. Apparently, if someone is staying in your room, they can remain in the room without a wristband--but the second they leave the room, they must have one. You cannot sit in the common areas without a wristband, even if you aren't swimming or using any of the hotel's amenities. They have employees walking around checking for wristbands, and if you don't have one, you are expected to stop what you're doing and get one. You could literally be in the middle of a game of pool, playing table tennis, or even swimming, and you would have to get out or stop what you're doing to go get a wristband. Even simply sitting in the common area requires one. If you plan on staying here, just be prepared: wristband patrol will be on the lookout. It's really disappointing because we genuinely enjoyed staying here in the past, especially because it was a fun place for our big family and the kids. But the way these new rules are being enforced has completely changed our experience, and unfortunately, we won't be returning.
