Was visiting town and spent two different nights visiting this bar. I was so impressed with the drinks the first night, we had to come back on Friday. Thursday crowd was nice and slow and quiet. Got our drinks quickly and tons of seating. Friday night before Halloween it was packed! We got our drinks, but you needed to make it through the crowd to get to the bar lol. Which isn't a bad thing, all good signs of a good place that people like to be! I truly couldn't tell you the names of any of the drinks I ordered, but I ordered a lot. Not a single drink either night disappointed. I wish I was local so I could back time and time again. My first time here and came with a bunch of friends for a birthday celebration. I really like the vibe of the quiet/chill bar in the front and the more rowdy club vibe in the back. It does take a while to get a drink when it's packed, but the wait is worth it as the cocktails are super yummy. Staff was a little grumpy but it was a busy Saturday night so I won't hold it against them. Music was really great and I love how they had water jugs in both rooms, however, they were mostly empty/out of cups. There is also 2 bathrooms in the back and 1 in the front. I love this bar and speakeasy all year, but if you have a chance to stroll in during the holiday season you will be delighted- they do all out with the decorations and themed beverages; even offering souvenir cups! I'm a big fan of their wine bottle selection, and find the $15 uncork fee fair based on the bottle prices. Those nights can get pretty packed, but the energy and live music always make it worth it. I also stop by for their happy hour, where the Palomas and Old Fashioneds are the stars at the front bar. Stopped in while in town on a work trip and my manager and I had a couple drinks. I was really impressed with the bourbon and rye selection they had and they were more than willing to chat about some of the unique offerings. I started with an old fashioned and then realized they had Angels Envy Rye, a personal favorite and switched it up to that. We came in on a Saturday afternoon and grabbed a drink at the bar (was a little too early for the speak easy). The staff was extremely friendly and I had to get myself a Gold Rush for my drink. The Gold Rush is Bourbon, Honey, and Lemon. 3 simple ingredients that make an amazing cocktail. Ashley and I were only planning on staying for one drink but our drinks were so good we had to have another. Grape & Grain also selling bottles so if you get something you after trying it out at the bar. They have a pretty good selection too. They also do their own barrel picks sometimes so something to keep in mine too because they are always amazing. The speakeasy is also a great place to grab a drink in a cool environment. We were cheerfully served by bartender Rebecca who poured two perfect drinks. Hubby had an old fashioned and loved it. I had a martini which was great. All the drinks are served in festive Christmas bar ware and some are even available to buy. We went on a Monday and FYI most businesses are closed on this day. I came here for a drink since I heard they have a good whiskey menu. It was Saturday night and this place was lively!! The front of the establishment is Dimly lit for a chill ambience.. talk to your friends/date over a wine, beer, or whiskey.. which they all have great selections of. If you're more in the mood to dance or have a little more pep to your step head towards the back and through the curtains where you will find the club. I really loved the place but could not give it 5 stars because one of the bartenders in the back was whining for 8 minutes about someone not tipping them and was VERY vocal about it. I get it bro, you wanted a $5 tip for pouring a shot; too bad you started to ruin the mood of many onlooking patron's with your temper tantrum. It's stocked with cute glasses shaped like santa's belly, a T-Rex with a santa hat on, which can be filled with rum spiced chai , snowball old fashioneds, and more winter treats! Feeling frisky? there's 2 seasonal shots; one called "naughty" and one called "nice" which are burbon or peppermint chocolate depending on which list you end up on! This was another business on my highly recommended list, and it lived up to the expectations! My husband and I were looking for somewhere to just relax and have a drink. There are two options: the main area and the speakeasy (which is technically The Parlour). We opted for the speakeasy which was dimly lit and gave vintage living room vibes. We each ordered a drink from the seasonal menu, and the bartender took his time handcrafting each drink. They were both very unique and great to sip on.
