I met with Abbie and she was soo unbelievably kind, helpful and patient with me. She spent so much time reviewing options and pointed out that there were natural stones that were at a similar price point. (At the end of our meeting, she said "I know you're going to get a natural stone!") She gave me some stone yards to go look and she was right - I fell in love with a stone and it is my favorite part of my entire remodel. I can seriously look at it for hours. Once I picked the stone, Amanda scheduled an appointment to determine the layout of the slabs. She knocked it out of the park! I can't believe how beautifully they fit together. She also said I had quite a bit of stone left and suggested that I use it on another vanity. So glad she did because I love my stone and it made the prefab vanity look way better! When the cabinets were in, Chad came to do the measurements to begin fabrication. They stick to their schedules and I appreciate it so much! Install went great and I am so happy with the final product. Key Points: 1.) Great people that you are happy to give your business to. 2.) Transparent pricing. It was also lower than the other quotes I got. 3.) BLG also had a great selection of remnants at a great price. I got a beautiful marble for my primary bath that I also love! They had so many options! 4.) Their communication is prompt and top notch. 5.) Their ability to determine lay-outs, book match and deliver! 6.) June 26 UPDATE The countertops are in, the backsplash is up, and we are exceedingly pleased with every facet of Nomad Stoneworks. NOTE: Our house is octagonal. This means that there are unusual angles inside. The sink is centered on a "point" of the octagonal. This makes for a challenging project to cut and fit the countertop precisely. Evan used a highly-advanced bit of laser technology to determine the precise measurement, and produce a CAD file to cut the stone on a special, computer-driven saw.
