She quickly gave me a quote that was $300 less than the other shop. I thought to myself, "why?", but didn't ask. No need to. I double checked that the price quoted included mounting, balancing and any other fees. She assured me the price was all inclusive. It was. I couldn't be happier with my new set of Cooper Tires.

On my drive, the radiator hose blew off. Not having any tools with me. I called for help and get my car towed to my work. I reattached the radiator hose and filled the radiator with water. I tried starting it and sounded out of time and won't start. I tow it back to the shop and have them look at it. They tell me that It's complicated and I need to take it somewhere else. A dude named Austyn, I think, was in there and showed me some options that were less than half the price of the last set I got. Turns out Austyn is the manager, and he himself and a couple guys from his team jumped right in to get me squared away and back on the road, no crazy wait time or other stuff. In less than 10,000 miles (about a year and a half), the tires started showing visible tread chunking and abnormal wear. When I had another shop look at them, they estimated the tires had already lost about 50% of their tread life, which is extremely premature. When I first brought my vehicle back to Point S, they told me I needed a rack and pinion replacement and quoted around $2,000. That didn't sit right, so I got two additional opinions. Both confirmed there was no issue with the rack and pinion. When I returned and told them this, they said the original diagnosis may have been a mistake and that they could have confused rainwater for a fluid leak. That explanation alone was concerning. They also dismissed the tire wear as normal, despite the low mileage, visible damage, and feedback from other shops. They did not offer meaningful help with a warranty claim or take responsibility for the situation. At that point, I lost confidence and chose to go elsewhere. Between the incorrect $2,000 repair recommendation and the unwillingness to address what appears to be premature tire failure, I would not return. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion if you're told you need major repairs here.

They got me in the same day without an appt, and my car was finished in less than two hrs. It probably would have been even sooner if I hadn't come during lunchtime! They're not going to try to sell you something you don't need, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. Great bunch of people, great service, and fair prices. Tech did the repairs quickly,then took the car for a test drive and was quite concerned about a rear wheel bearing noise. He recommended a quick ck and decided bearing was finished. I was up visiting in grants pass when all of a sudden, a terrible noise was coming from the front right of my engine bay. Not knowing the exact cause, had my suv towed into Tom's early on a Monday. By Monday afternoon they knew what was wrong, had the part is stock and could get me back on the road by end of the next day. They were even complete early and upon pickup, the tech showed me the broken fan from the radiator fan assembly that was basically wobbling away making quite the ruckus. I am so thankful that Tom's was helpful, knowledgeable and quick. They did come highly recommended by some friends so I'm glad I trusted them. If needed, will definitely take vehicles back to Tom's.

Point #2: Failure to Disclose Critical Repair After completing the initial repairs, the customer received a message stating that an additional $3,000 timing chain repair was required for the vehicle to be drivable. This information was not disclosed upfront. When asked why this critical issue was not communicated earlier, the explanation given was that it "may not have been noticed until later." -This explanation is highly questionable. -The timing chain is located in an area that would reasonably be inspected during related engine work. -It is unlikely that such a major issue would only be discovered after completing the initial repairs.
