Now I have been having issues with my system freezing up for 3 months and my installer tried a couple fixes but basically gave up after telling my I need my ducts cleaned because I had some micro dust plugging my filter that we couldn't see on the 30 day old filter. After I threw out the BS flag he refused to come back or return my calls. I called Amaxx to see if they could help troubleshoot my system and Kurt showed up the same day. Kurt realized that there were a few issues with the initial set up that needed to be rectified before he could determine the root cause of the failure and recommend how to proceed. Rather than having me pay for uncovered install issues he contacted American Standard for me who then contacted my original installer and basically told him to do the changes that Kurt recommended. To top things off he called me the next day to verify that my original installer did the repairs. One other thing... when Kurt showed up he said he remembered coming to my home the previous year to give me bid on the new system. Unfortunately I chose different contractor because his father had done my original system 27 years ago. Bad call on my part. Thanks for going the extra mile Kurt.

Ticking sounds in the wall while heat is on. DRHorton ordered them to come last December. The guy came and identified the ductwork pipe causing that sounds and decided to just pull the vent register out couple of times. This covered up the issue for half a day and the ductwork went back to its original position. Ticking sounds back. DRHorton coordinated them to come again together with floor guy to open the floor and fix the issue. This time, same guy came and what he did is simply shifted the main vent a bit. Of course it let the sound go for the moment but that is not a solution! We told him that he did similar thing last time. He first refused to admit he had come fixing it before, after we provided more details he called his manager and finally admitted he had an unsuccessful fix last time. Then he said I had to go, my manager said that is just natural sound of a house. What the fuck? Your manager was not even here! When and how did he get the super power to hear a sound remotely and determine that's the natural sounds?! Yep, 10 min after he left and the sound is back again. We ran into him two houses away from ours about 1 hour after he left, and let him know that the sound was back. He did not give it a shit and refused to spend 5 min to come and listen. That's how Elander cares about their quality of work.
