Our initial impression was good. Onur (Who no longer works there) gave us a reasonable price and prompt installation. However, there was a noticeable flaw in the quartz pattern. I called Onur and he sent out his installer/repairman. This man was at our house for over an hour dousing the quartz with multiple chemicals and digging at it with a razor. His final solution was to fill it in with black marker, and I mean that seriously. I called Onur and explained the situation, reminding him that when we purchased the granite we stressed the need for timely install, since our backsplash was the final step in our remodel and our contractor was on a very tight schedule. Long and short, he agreed to replace the defective piece in 10 days - not acceptable. Okay, he'll send his guys on Saturday. We waited all day long with no word until 6pm, when we were told they couldn't make it until Monday. On Monday the new piece gets installed. The seam isn't as perfect as before but we need this done. Fast forward a few months, and the dishwasher that they fastened to the underside of the granite comes completely loose. Another call to Granite Expo and after a few days the same repairman (ugh!) comes out to fix it. Need it be said that three days later, it is again completely detached. I call AGAIN, only to be told sorry, that's how we do it, sorry it hasn't worked for you. That's it. I will say that if you find a slab you like and there are no glitches, you might have a positive experience. But heaven forbid you have any issues, because things are likely to take a very unpleasant turn. We are absolutely regretting that we purchased our quartz from Granite Expo. 6/8/20 Update: We now have worn edges and random blotches appearing on the countertops. Granite Expo has shown no interest in resolving, only in having us remove our negative review. Sincerely wish we had purchased our countertops elsewhere. read more

We've been looking to redo our kitchen counter-tops for a long while, and this spring we finally made the plunge. I went to Granite Expo one afternoon and was patiently walked through the entire process by our salesman, Onur (also goes by Connor). He sent me home with a number of samples and books to help choose what we might want for our house, and soon my wife and I both went back in the showroom to make the final selection on the stone. Onur was there every stop of the way, a really nice and patient man. Onur got us a quote and worked with us on making sure all of the options we wanted were reflected in the numbers (the faucet they offered was not our first choice, so they let us buy our own faucet and installed it for us). The quote process was easy, they can make weekend calls and work around your schedule as needed. The installation was fast and painless, ours is a fairly simple job and all told they were in-and-out within 2 hours. The install team (Yeltsin and the plumber Halil) were friendly and professional. Just delighted with the granite counter-top Granite Expo installed in my home. First of all, the sales experience was spot on. No pressure, no rush, seemed like they welcomed my business, but weren't pushy at all. I wandered around the "warehouse" area on my own, taking my time making my selection. Of course, like others, they offer samples to take home. They included features for which other companies charge extra. For instance, they offer 4 types of edges, no additional charge. They didn't ask for more when I added an 8 inch overhang on one cabinet. They worked around the kitchen window, and I can't even notice it. Granite Expo's price was considerably lower than the competition, yet I feel I got a quality product. A technician came to my home within days of placing my order, and the installation crew showed up, in the snow! a few days after that. The crew was neat, covering the floor where they would be tracking, promptly made rubble of the existing counter, cleaned up their work site, and were gone in 2 hours. Their pricing was competitive, and the service was great. I bought a color in the "exotic" line and I had a choice of edges. A competitor wanted $35 a linear foot for the edging. They did a great job and everything was cut and installed within a week of purchase. It has been about a month since it was installed and I do not regret my decision. We happened upon Granite Expo by accident while we were on our way to a different granite center. And we are sure glad we did. There are a lot of granite centers in the area and we visited several that day and decided on Granite Expo for the following reasons: - Ray's customer service was excellent. He gave us a lot of good advice, recommendations and considerations for our kitchen counter tops. - At no point did we feel pressured or rushed into choosing or buying anything. Talking with Ray was like talking with a very knowledgeable friend about granite. - They had a clean and organized warehouse with a great selection of granite, marble and quartz slabs. - The slabs had price tags on them! This was a huge help when shopping for natural stone as they vary so widely in price. And considering we were on a budget and looked at so many colors it was nice to keep on track with what was realistic for our budget. - Install was great, easy and fast. Installers were courteous and kept everything clean. Very professional. Everything looks awesome. - Finally, they had the most beautiful piece of Granite for our kitchen. Augusta White, made in the USA :) (By the way, for the people whose walls got damaged. It happens when removing a back splash. I removed my own back splash and some parts came off easy with no damage and some parts pretty much removed the whole drywall with it. These guys are granite guys, not drywall guys. Post Work Review This is going to be a long read, but if you can bare with me, you'll get an in depth look at my experience with Granite Expo. While I will not make a recommendation as to what you should do, I will NEVER spend another dollar with this company! In August of 2016, a representative from Granite Expo came out to my home to take measurements. Following this visit, I received an email from Ray, stating that my job measured roughly 48 sq ft including 4-4 1/2 inch granite backsplash (same as counter tops). NOTE: This point will be revisited in the coming paragraphs. Despite having the measurements completed and the confirmation from Ray, my wife and I chose not to proceed with the installation at that time as we were still in the planning phases of a larger renovation. In late March 2017, we contacted Granite Expo a second time as we were ready to proceed with the job. Measurements were taken a second time, and we confirmed with Tim (in store) that the measurements and terms of the package we were purchasing were still the same ($2599 for up to 50 sq. ft/ which included 4 inch stone back splash). We decided while in store that we would not however have additional glass tile back splash added to the wall space behind our stove. It was at this time that a contract was drawn up reflecting the terms of the agreement. The contract, which I have a copy of, states that we were having 48 sq. ft of granite installed (including 4 inch granite back splash confirmed by Ray both in an email and in person), but no additional glass tile back splash. Installation was scheduled for 4/21/17 between 9:00 - 9:30am. At 9:45am on the morning of 4/21/17, I had yet to hear anyhing from Granite Expo regarding my installation. I called and spoke to Ray who advised me that he'd contact his guys to determine their location. Following my conversation with Ray, I received no update as to the location of the installers, they simply arrived at my home around 10:15am. When the installers walked in, I asked who the lead installer was. Having introduced himself, I asked to go over the job that was going to take place and it was at this time that it was discovered that the company had not cut ANY 4 inch stone back splash for the job. This was the first call that I put in to Ray regarding issues with this job, however it would not be the last. NOTE: I should point out that I take responsibility for not stopping ALL work until this matter was corrected. Unfortunately, I decided to proceed with the installation under the impression that it would be resolved, but that was NOT the case at all. I read the reviews on this company prior to hiring them, and one review in particular stood out to me. Another former customer pointed out that during the removal of the old counter tops, Granite Expo damaged the drywall in their kitchen. Having this information in hand, I notified the installers that I wanted to inspect the cabinets and drywall following the removal of the old cabinets, and they agreed. While they were removing my cabinets, I was having a discussion with Ray about whether or not Granite Expo was supposed to actually install 4 inch stone back splash. Ray's position at this point was that he would look into it and get back to me. This would have been about 10:25 am. The old counter tops were removed, the old back splash was removed, and the old bar top was removed. When the removal of the old cabinets was completed, I inspected the cabinets, the drywall and the bar top. The installers managed to remove the back splash in some areas without causing damage, while removing the back splash in other areas and putting holes in the drywall as well as leaving the bar top drywall unlevel. I had a conversation with the lead installer about the damage, I asked him directly if they were going to repair the drywall prior to installation. He told me that they would not. The counter tops and the bar top were installed. NO back splash was installed at this time, meaning the damaged drywall area was left exposed. The installation of the new granite counter top and bar top concluded around 11:45 am. At this point, I had yet to hear anything back from Ray so I placed another call to his office. During this conversation with me, Ray took the position that I had not communicated a desire to have any stone back splash installed. Obviously a disagreement ensued from that point on. To be frank, I reminded Ray of the fact that I had paid $2599 for up to 50 sq.ft of granite, which my job (and contract for that matter) specified that I was to receive 48 sq. ft of granite which supposedly included 4 inch back splash. Ray disagreed. We went back and forth in a fairly heated conversation, because my position was that I had paid for back splash and Ray's was that I had not paid for it, nor had I specified that this was a desire of mine. PROS: Their prices were competitive but we ultimately chose to go with Granite Expo because we liked a particular granite in their inventory. The manager was extremely personable and took time to tape out the exact sections of the slabs we wanted. He made sure to match the grain of the granite and showed us why it mattered. CONS: Upon install, the crew realized one piece was cut too short. We overheard them talking about how it wasn't going to fit, but they proceeded with the install. When questioned, the crew acted dumb about the length and claimed we could center the piece and select a thicker tile back splash to cover the difference on both sides. After talking to their manager, they agreed it was too short and went back to cut another piece of granite claiming "no other company would cut another piece for something that could be made to fit." If a company measures a cut incorrectly, why should the customer figure out a way to make it fit? As mentioned in another review, the joint is obvious because the re-cut piece came from a different slab than what we originally picked out to match the rest of the cuts. Additionally, we were able to remove most of our old back splash ourselves, but didn't get to the last wall. The crew carelessly removed it and put holes in the wall which now have to be repaired before we have someone tile. This is not the case on the walls we did. Granite Expo believes they did us a favor by re-cutting the piece they measured incorrectly. They also offered us a restaurant gift certificate (which we've never opened) to make up for their poor install, when they should have offered to fix the drywall. They also charged our credit card for the second half of payment the day of install without authorization when we were told they'd call a few days after install to check satisfaction. We specifically did not sign their paperwork after install because we wanted the manager to see the job for himself first. Overall, it was a crummy experience which was extremely disappointing given the great customer service pre-sale. read more

I needed to have kitchen sink replaced and installation was not very simple. I contacted many plumbers and then granite companies and everyone either declined to do the installation or quotes ridiculous amount to do the job. I spoke with Omar on front desk and he gave the most reasonable price. On the installation date installers came on time and did a job i thought will not be possible without charging me arms and length. After sink installation their plumber came and hooked up everything without any problem. Over all they did a great job and they didn't even lift countertop for installation which some others said they will have to. Really happy with the service of all the people involved. read more

It was our first time ever shopping for granite for our kitchen counter tops and we had a great experience with Granite Expo! Granite Expo showroom and warehouse are very clean, they have a great selection of slabs which are well organized and presented under plenty of light. First impression made me feel that if we were to order granite from them - they would make sure it is done perfectly. Manager Ray was very knowledgeable. He answered all our questions (we had plenty) and gave us good ideas of what would work best for us (like what kind of edge we can have, how many inches for bar overhang to have, why not marble for kitchen and many more). They installed our beautiful granite counter tops within a week from the day we visited their showroom. It was fast and issue free! Have been trying to replace kitchen sink for over a year. Someone recommended calling Granite Expo, and they sent technician over to look at project the next day. Project was done within two weeks. New sink is bigger than old one, so they came over to carefully remove granite piece with sink, and returned two days later with granite recut and polished. Removal of granite was difficult, as was possible to crack granite or damage cabinets or backsplash. Installers were very careful, and removed and reinstalled granite with no damage. Both their installers and the plumber who works with them were polite and professional. Would definitely contact them again for any granite projects. read more

I had extensive granite countertops and backsplashes installed shortly before Thanksgiving last year by Granite Expo. The good: The resulting installation looks very nice and there is nothing out of place. The representatives I worked with were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Pricing is competitive and there are frequent specials, such as the one we took advantage of. The meh: Not much of an effort was made to match shade when they had to create a joint, so I have a noticeable transition where the counter makes a 90-degree turn. Also, I left it to the business to choose a slab and got a subpar one, with excessive pits and gouges - I guess it's my fault for expecting the effort to be made on my behalf. Thirdly, in removal of my old laminate backsplash, they took huge chunks out of the drywall. Rather than patch the holes before installing the granite, they just put the granite over the holes and said it was fine. The bad: When the installers replaced the outlets after moving them forward to fit the backsplash, they replaced all the metal screws with wood screws. Wood screws in outlets! A half-dozen electrical boxes had the wrong screws forced into them. It took hours to remove them and there's still one I can't get the screws out of to replace the outlet with a color that matches the granite. I called asking them to come back out and fix it, but they said they were too busy and would get back to me - never did. The business itself is fine, but pick your own slab, stick with something with a consistent shade, and monitor the installers' work. read more

Needless to say we are beyond disappointed by our latest experience with this business. They provided the quartz for phase 1 without an issue, however this last interaction was poor at best. Unfortunately, the installers dropped the piece while bringing it into our home. They "polished" it and left saying all was good. Moments later we noticed a 5 inch brown mark and small chip in the stone. They sent the team back out again to polish the chip with an apology that the damage occurred when it was dropped on the wood protecting it. Our contractor came back the next day and noticed another even larger chip. He noted that the chip had obviously been polished the day previously in an attempt to buff it out. When I called our rep to tell him there was more damage from the drop he responded very defensively and was extremely rude stating that we must have caused the damage. He in the end promised to replace the stone the following Monday. But when we called to see the time of delivery the story changed. They were now going to remove the countertop a day later than promised and then wait for approval from the stone company rep before replacing it. We are still in a dispute with this company. Consider another business for your countertop needs. Just an admission of their role in the drop and subsequent chip in the stone and a gracious replacement would have gone along way! read more

Had our 20 year old corian countertops replaced with leathered granite that looks outstanding. Tim was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with us selecting the granite and arranging to purchase a Blanco sink. The installation team was extremely professional and did a superb job with demo of the old and installing the new. They had to cut the space for the cooktop on sit and there was MUCH LESS dust mess than I expected. Did a great job cleaning up after the job. All done in 3 hours, just in time for the plumber to install the sink faucets and drains and hookup the gas cooktop... read more

Granite Expo gave me an excellent price. The product was delivered and installed in just over a week. The installers, however, made a mess of my walls. The owner, Yusep, said he would call me to set up an appointment to inspect the job but has never called me back. It cost me over $250 to fix the mess they made. These days it is very hard to find a company that is truly values their customers and follows through on their commitments. But Granite Expo, specifically, Conor Ergul, really went above and beyond. I hired them to fix the granite in our kitchen that had separated from the sink. They sent a repairman quickly, but after about a day, I noticed there was still some space between the sink and the granite. I reached out to Conor and he said that someone would come back to fix it again. We are in the process of selling our home so our schedule has been very tight and did not have a lot of availability for the repairman to fix the sink. We could only give him a very short window on a Saturday. Because Conor said he could not guarantee the repairman would be able to make it exactly at that time, he would refund our money and then try to schedule the appointment at a later time when things were not so crazy for us. He initially said he would refund only part of it, but then refunded the full amount without us even asking for it. I have never had a company refund my money without having to fight tooth and nail for every penny. We will be using this company from now on for every granite need. Their customer service is top notch and it's these types of interactions that make them different and better. read more

I reviewed Angies List for kitchen counter-tops and found so many mixed reviews I gave up and tried Yelp. I'm glad I did, Granite Expo isn't on Angies List, but had some recent nice reviews on Yelp, so my wife and I visited their show room to check them out. First of all, their selection was much larger than the shops we've previously visited and the consulting area was decorated in a way that allowed you to see samples of edges etc, without being overwhelmed. We came armed with some limited knowledge from Lowes and another granite shop so we knew about what we were looking for, and general costs. Timur (Tim) spent as much time with us as we needed to review the granite, see the fabrication area, discuss sink options, edges etc. My wife found the type of granite she liked, but at 76sqf they didn't have enough. We were told they'd ship in a few more slabs from another warehouse so in a couple of days, we were back can they had plenty. My wife selected a couple, and identified where she'd like to have the kitchen island cut from... we then discussed and selected edges, sink options, etc. A couple of days later, the install team shown up, and the removal / install was completed in less than a couple hours. Everything was perfect and they really stand behind their workmanship, customer service and did a fantastic job with the installation and demo. Oh, also the pricing was very competitive... we couldn't be happier. read more

DO NOT BUY from Granite Expo. The installers ignored me when I talked to them.. I told them 3 times I wanted to keep my old faucet; they discarded it. When I went to my salesperson, he said it was old anyway. It was a Moen; it has a lifetime warranty. The installers remounted my dishwasher wrong and now it can't be used.
