Once the quartz island was installed, we noticed scruff marks from the polishing. Oscar was unable to remove and made more damage to the 92" island. He sent another worker to assist and was unable to repair the damaged he caused. They reluctantly offered to replace the island top. Once 2nd top arrived for installation, it was 2 inches shorter! Now 90" in length. The entire concept of the new island was to have a longer top. Once we asked why it changed, the owners said they followed the original paperwork... which they had as 90" but we had as 92". When questioned why the difference they could not explain and played dumb. We told them it was 92" and not 90". They attempted to leave the house without sealing the granite counter to the island base. NO changes was what they said. Exhausted with trying to communicate with them... I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND JENKO MGL GRANITE TO ANYONE. 1. Poor communication unless you have someone to translate from Mongolian to English. 2. Sloppy work from tiling to installation of the island. 3. Never arrived to the site on time and Multiple excuses for delay. 4. Asked my son help carry the quartz into the house bc they did not bring enough workmen. 5. The eventual staging looked fine. It was pretty minimal (living room, dining room, breakfast room and master bedroom), but the house sold for more than the asking price. However, during the staging, the floors (which had professionally cleaned prior to staging) were left a mess - footprints, water, mud, etc. were widespread on the main level hardwood floors. There was no attempt to do any cleanup by Staged by Design. Our realtor actually ended up cleaning the floors. Furthermore, when the staging was removed, there was a large scratch on the master bedroom molding that had to be repaired. I believe this repair was paid for by Stage by Design, but the arrangements had to be made by us or our realtor.

Road rage comes in all shapes and forms but to have road rage while on the job, driving a company car (a company which looks like good quality) is unacceptable!! When we were finally able to merge into the lane, he tried to cut us off again, then tried to block us in, and then tried speeding off. In a company work truck for crying out loud!! We were able to capture a video and the license plate. I feel like we were targeted because of the kind of car that we were in (a performance vehicle) and he was just a miserable human being. Unless he's a die hard "same day cabinets" employee that believes in cutting all corners to rush into delivering these cabinets even if it means "somebody dies type of day", his evil behavior is unjustified. I'm grateful to be alive. I apologize to this company for this rating because it has nothing to do with the quality of your business but I have to rate it a zero for employing such a dangerous person. He needs to be fired. We would have filed a police report but it was my friend's birthday and calling the business itself to report the incident to the manager was enough. The nice woman who answered appeared sympathetic and apologized. We were told that the driver would be addressed. He looked like he was someone's nephew or son so I'm sure that he'll just get a slap on the wrist. I hope he stays off the road and I'm sure karma will teach him a lesson one day, some day. I highly recommend going there if you feel like you can't find what you're looking for anywhere else or you don't want to pay an arm and a leg for some cabinets.

In my experience, contractors usually do some damage to something when they are doing the job. I was dreading the painting based on my prior experience with other contractors. I have to say, they arrived on time, worked very hard, took a reasonable lunch and did a fantastic job. And NO damage to anything! The painters even stayed a bit late to finish up so they did not have to come back the next day. No mess, beautiful paint etc. I could not be more pleased and I will definitely use them again for future paint jobs and highly recommend them.

When I complained, she went to two websites (Home Depot and Overstock.com) and sent me 8 links - not one piece of furniture was viable for my space and had drawers. I told her that everything I need has to have storage (drawers). If you are looking for someone to add pillows or staging, she might be right for you. However, I would NOT recommend that you use her for sourcing. Now after flushing $325 down the toilet, I have the pleasure of finding someone new who actually has ears.
