If I could leave less than 1 star I would. I happened to get a great parking spot right outside my apartment building. I could see my car from my 2nd floor apartment window. So when I woke up and looked outside at the winter splendor this morning, I happened to catch a Grandpa's School Bus side swipe my car and take out the driver's side mirror. He paused for a moment, then drove away. Called 311, who transferred me to the 114th precinct to file a police report, called the DOE Transportation office, and my insurance company. All were super duper helpful - except the bus company when I called them. They answered in the morning and when I told them my issue said they couldn't do anything without a police report number (police hadn't shown up to take it yet) and weren't interested in trying to narrow down who the driver was by the street and time he was on the route. Once I had the police report number I called back, but no one answered literally all day long. Also you can google them for a good laugh. There is a long list of grievances against them, latest was less than a month ago when they dropped off a bunch of 1st graders at the wrong bus stop. read more

The bus sometimes doesn't even show up and when you call the office, they lie to you and say it's on the way. It's not, and then your kid misses school. I don't understand how school buses don't have GPS at this point so parents could track their location. NYC school bus companies have forgotten that they are there to serve the parents and students. read more

After a year after understanding why this bus company keeps rejecting a 504 Accommodation for children with a medical condition is they lack the ability to do so. Bus driver drove through the stop sign at the crosswalk and almost hit me. I was at the crosswalk on Jamaica Ave and Bradford St., and as I stepped into the crosswalk to cross the street, bus number 2491 came veering around the corner of Arlington Ave and nearly hit me with the bus. As he ran through the stop sign, I yelled at him, asking why he ran through the stop sign. He yelled back saying "No he doesn't have to," amongst, other things. It was gridlock so he was trying to escape traffic to no avail. He got stuck in the middle of the crosswalk, where he almost hit me, and when I took out my phone to take a picture of the bus, that's when he started waving in an apologetic manner. His apology doesn't matter and wouldn't matter if he would've struck me or someone else with the bus that he gets paid to drive people's children safely in. Only because he got stuck in the same crosswalk he could've killed me in and only because he saw me taken a picture, he became nervous and stopped running his mouth and being nasty with me. I will be reporting and reposting this on all of your pages that has reviews on this company. He is a danger to the children he drives around with and the pedestrians on the streets. I am absolutely sick and tired of every last person in this company. Unprofessional rude disgusting .... are only a few words to describe this terrible company. If your kids have to ride this bus make sure you take your own safety precautions because these drivers are not paying attention to the children there is no matron to monitor the children the bus drivers are literally picking up dropping off whenever they want. Now let's get into the rude disgusting customer service reps that are supposed to be helping you. Not a single encounter have I had where these women have been nice or respectful or helpful When it came to helping me locate my children's bus driver. if I'm not getting hung up on , these women is answering you yelling at you as if your the one controlling these buses They lie and make up there own rules to save the drivers and the mistakes they make.. Two years I've been having to deal with this unprofessional place because of the school system. They need to do better I understand it is a shortage of drivers and help is needed but that does not give you the right to be disgusting to the children and the parents that you have to service. Change your employees and do better. Even more lawsuits will be coming your way. read more

If I could rate in the negatives, I would. This bus company is not only irresponsible and rude. They are also very unprofessional. On one of the MANY occasions that the bus did not pick up on time I called the office. My child was among 15 others standing outside on a 15-degree day at 640am. It's dark and cold and our 10 and 11 year Olds are waiting for a bus that never showed. When I called an extremely rude woman answered and demanded a route number. I did not know a route number and attempted to explain to her. She discorteously yelled and spoke down to me stating that 4 buses were going to my sons school and how could she know which one I was referring to. I sarcastically said the one that hasnt shown up. She then hung up on me. A parent that is worried about the safety of her child and this woman just hung the phone up. The bus never showed up. Parents called an uber and sent the children to school while the others missed school that day. I've also contacted OPT and my sons school. This cannot be allowed to continue happening. This bus company is awful and should not be entrusted the care of our little ones. So disgusted with them. I will be going in person to file a complaint against that employee. She should not be allowed to continue working there. read more

One of their buses idles every single morning under our windows for about 1h starting around 6am. I called and a very bored customer representative told me they cannot tell their drivers not to do that. It's illegal to idle, it's noisy and it's polluting. Driving on Van Wyck Expressway this morning a driver from this company (Bus #1267) was in the right-hand lane, possibly moving from the on-ramp entry lane into the driving lane and forced a car into my lane (middle lane) by moving left into that lane seemingly without a care as to if there was already a car there. I made room for the car. The bus was now in a driving lane and if the driver needed to move over more, could have waited until there was room. He was still signaling to move left, but I was directly to the left of the bus. The driver kept moving over anyway. I honked to let him know but he kept moving. He would have hit me or caused me to hit cars to my left. This is a dangerous driver. I would never let my kids be in a bus with this person. He may cause an accident or upset the wrong driver on the road who will open fire. I called the company to report the driver but got the usual "the manager just stepped out". I was told I would receive a call back but they never asked for my number, so you can see how serious they are about issues like this. read more

no stars should be an option by now. a driver by the name of paul that works with this bus company is disgustingggg towards children. he tells special needs children that they are stupid. he curses at them and sometimes takes routes the children are unfamiliar with and when they ask questions he responds with "shut the fuck up and sit the fuck down you retard". the bus company denies any of his wrongdoings toward the children who ride the bus and their families. the bus company also allows the drivers to use alias names so paul may not even be the driver's real name. this man has never smiled at these children. only at their female family members who pick the children up off of the bus. he is visibly upset and angry at the fact that they get on his bus. he lets it be known that he doesn't want them on there and talks down to and belittles them all the way until they are dropped off. numerous times this driver has let children off of the bus when there was no parent or adult to receive them. and because of the area in which they live, he sees nothing wrong with it! his actions are deliberate and for the company to do nothing about it is even more disturbing! read more

First day of school today and a no show! Bus was scheduled for 7:10 a.m. pick up and at 7:40...No Show. A parent went home, got his car and drove the 3 students left at bus stop to school. One student took the public bus with her father. Called the bus company and no answer. It is now almost noon and still nobody answers. So I am now at work wondering whether my daughter will be bused home or sitting in front of the school building waiting to be picked up by me late since she finishes school before I finish work. Bad does not even begin to describe this company.. Shame on the Mayors office & the OPT!! SHAME! You bid out and picked the cheapest most unreliable bus company for our children. They didn't show up to pick up the kids yesterday morning (Parents piled as many into a car as was safe and drove after waiting almost 2 hours) and in the afternoon this sham company left the children stranded at school. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. Never showed up!!! Parents scrambling all over to fine/pick up their children. For hours the kids sat and waited, HOURS. This disgusting company allows you to be on hold for 77 minutes at a time and then disconnects you. When you do get to talk to them, they ask what bus company you are talking about, it's a sham name, they must run a few companies. They cannot even keep the names straight!! The name on the bus said LOGAN, The drivers Shirt said something else, and the name on your bus slip says Grandpas.. They suck, parents must demand an immediate change!! As much as I'm not a fan of this bus company, I have to make it known the people I which helped me. I set up a field trip for my students, I called to confirm the buses, and she gave me all the route numbers, though I wish they would've told me where to actually find them I thought it was the bus number itself. All buses but one showed up, I called the company since I have over 300 students going on this trip. I spoke with Shiney who was a delight! She was patient with me and she tried to help as much as she could. An absolute delight though! My driver was Jean or Gene, not sure how he spelt it he was on bus #2556 he was fantastic! Back and forth safe, when I had a question or two he was kind and not annoyed. Please ask this man to drive your students. Again, not the greatest fan of this company but I thought these two individuals needed to be recognized. horrible, since first day. beyond understaffed, 2 hours for a 10 min drive from the school to the house. right now after announcing that they are back to normal hours. i am still waiting for bus company, no one answers and no one is communicating. i believe this company needs to a new manager!!! one day im chasing after the bus and another waiting hours. they need pioneer back a company that actually knows what they are doing!!! read more
