It's a small, bare-bones station at the halfway point of the Port Washington line (that still, thankfully, lets you get off on any car). You won't see a great many people getting off and on, except during rush hour. If I could make a change, it would be to either make the glass shelter temperature-controlled like at some other stations, or extend the roof to the length of the entire platform. As it stands, because the tracks are elevated, you're going to feel the full brunt of the weather in the Summer and Winter. Minor inconveniences aside, this is still a decent station.

Don't really understand why we even need that many entrances in just about two streets apart. The subway stations in the city don't even have as many entrances as the Main Street one. You'll see MTA workers cleaning and sweeping on different sides of the platforms. The tracks are sometimes clean and sometimes dirty filled with garbage. Don't like seeing those rats running across the tracks waving at me. The train carts are pretty clean most of the time. Except when sometimes you'll see homeless people sleeping on the seats. The 7 train is somewhat reliable on the weekdays. But, don't expect the same kind of service during the weekends. I pray in my mind that there's nothing wrong with MTA every single day. If it ever has issues like debris on train tracks or delayed service, it might take you up to 1.5 hours or the chance of screwing up your day/plans/schedule. So, may the odds be ever in your favor!

Now, even with repairs at certain stations it's like every 3 minutes there is another train coming after the first one left. The trains are new. Found them to be clean compared to some of the other lines. What I love about the 7 train "International Express Train" for its diverse neighborhood at every station that you get off. It's like an adventure and you are venturing to another country, smell the fragrance and aromas of the food being cooked. Every country that is represented and you find enclave of eateries and shops. It's like a mini United Nations on the 7 Train. -The MTA 7 Train will take you to Citi Field for Mets Game. Get off at Willets Point Station. Also Flushing Meadow Park, and US open as well as other events. -Get off at Main Street- Last stop towards Flushing. Chinatown- Lots of food shopping and dining experience. Don't forget the Sky View Mall-You will see segment of the mall as train heads underground toward Main Street. Just a few descriptions of the stations on the 7 train to whet your appetite. Usually clean and not too much trash to be found. Not a problem to find a seat either for me anyway. Some have the USB-C outlets to charge your phones. Cons: Takes every 15-20 min to arrive when waiting at the bus stop. So, it eventually evens out in the end. Luckily, there're usually not too many people onboard...at least from the times that I do have to hop on a Q44. Tends to come on time most of the time except for expected delays on the weekends of course. At the end of the day, that's the Q44 for you.

And when I went to the front to get a ticket transfer he said he " can't " because the Card payment is not working and he pointed to the one that's in the picture So I told him but yea I paid at the other section and another lady said he told her don't worry it's not working and another customer said that the driver told her if your going to pay , you have to pay at the card payment machine in the middle of the door section or the back door section at that machine . UNBELIEVABLE !!!! He told each customer something different. I'm really getting tired of this . The MTA makes things harder for the actual paying customers. But then if you don't pay they want to ticket you and kick you off the bus . Flushing LIRR station gets the job done as a means of conveyance boarding and exiting the train. No elevator access or ramp for the physically challenged for this elevated platform. Ticket booth is a microscopic tiny room and is closed at select times including holidays. Two self-serve ticket machines are available outside by the Port Washington bound stairs. One overhead enclosed waiting area for inclement weather is available on both West bound and East bound platforms. On the West bound platform (trains to New York) passengers can see a slew of sneakers dangling on power lines.

They do have a waiting room area, but it's only open for a few hours a day, which is pretty terrible during bad weather or in the winter. There weren't many ticket machines, which is usually okay. The platform going towards Long Island has none, so watch out! Lastly, what's really annoying is that every half hour or so, either this station or Auburndale is skipped. It only takes an extra minute to stop at both during off peak hours, so this is just an inconvenience to local residents - as if the high price of commuting to Manhattan isn't enough!

He scanned our ticket and we boarded. The bus was pretty full, so we ended up sitting separately. The above head storage bins are kind of tight, so I had to take something out of my over stuffed backpack to manage to wiggle it in. While my purse sat on my lap. I liked the foot rest and the hook on the handle on the seat in front of me. Trash bags were hung here and there. Looks like they also provided small bottles of water for us, though we had to grab those ourselves. The electric plugs didn't seem to work, but perhaps the ubs plugs in the ceiling did. Our driver was a great communicator. He set expectations so we knew that we had a 20 min rest stop before arriving at Baltimore, and pointed out things to help us to pay attention and to get back to the right bus. He warned us that given current construction that we were sure to arrive later than what our tickets said, and gave us his best eta given the circumstances. Another passenger later commented that the bus bathroom was clean. We kind of ended up being dropped off on a brightly painted bridge in the middle of no where - perhaps on Maryland Ave?, by a bus stop. A short walk from Penn Station.

You have the Q10 Bus to JFK Airport, Q37 to the Resorts World Casino, the Q46 to St. John's University which terminates here. As well as other busses to elsewhere. Plenty of destinations if you ask me. However, it looses a star because the busses are too spread out and I personally think the Q10 and Q37 should share the same terminal since it'll be a better "transit hub". The Subway: As we all know, the NYC Subway is one of the best in the world in terms of service levels. This spot has the (E) and (F) Lines, however I personally believe that the (MTA) should send the (F) straightforwardly on the Local Track, and the (E) on the Express respectively. This will lower congestion and speed up service. But still, the ADA Compliance is great! Elevators are provided to every level and platform of the station!
